  • Big Bob's kart has been in desperate need of a brake system overhaul. So we decided to completely scrap the old(new when I first built it) mechanical brake in favor of the same system I designed for the Red Kart using Yamaha Grizzly 660 master cylinder and caliper.

Yeah I dithced the mechanical real quick and I mean real quick lol Painted my 670cc 3203 kart be back together soon its all done! Real Orange and Kiwi Green sick two tone, but yeah I feel ya on the mechanical brakes. They probably rock on small karts, but these 3203 not so much they too big for them I think. Good video soory I was late lol

Can you show some close ups of the brackets for the caliper? I have the same brake set up but my bracket broke so I need a better idea.

The way I did it was actually stupid simple. I just drilled holes in the ends of two 4" pieces of flat bar, bolted them onto the caliper, held it in place where my "brackets" touch the frame and just welded it in in one piece. I'll try and remember to post a pic later

You should add a semi independent in the rear for the suspension

What's your definition of semi independent?
