I'm working on writing online since finding your blog post on this and the video very well complements just that. Thanks for the no-BS content as always! Keep it up 👊
Website, Convertkit, Zapier all created and connected. Took me a week because I was busy customizing away 😂 Thank you, Nat! I used your custom links when creating my accounts to show my gratitude in some small way!
Thanks for making this video, I have been procrastinating on setting up a blog since reading your article on the topic. Looking forward to your next video, on how to generate content.
Thanks for the video, Nat! I created my website after watching your chat with Ali and then reading your blog post. I really like that idea about creating a separate title, description, and image for seo. I'm about to make that update now. Thanks again for the motivation!
Loving this series of videos. I attempted to apply each step you instructed. However, one hangup is at the customizing of webflow step. I was unable to embed the convert kit newsletter form due to only having the free account. Need to spend $20 per month (or $192 for the year) to be able to utilize the embed option. Just an FYI. Thank you for these videos.
Nice catch, Derek! I'm sure you saw this but at 8:59 Nat shares a second way to accomplish the same thing through Zapier which is free for up to 100 tasks.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this! I just started a YT page and was considering blogging the info shared in the videos. Thoughts on that being redundant?
@@nateliason thanks for the answer, Nate. I decided to go for Webflow at least for my own blog. Would you recommend the Webflow Crash Course on their official website to learn it?
Hi Nat, my convertkit newsletter is going to people's "promotions" tab in their gmail. I've followed every guide out there and still ending up in the Promotions tab. Any advice?
I have wanted to switch to webflow from Squarespace, but I want to transfer my blog from the old site to the new site. For the life of me, I can't do it or figure it out. Do you have any advice on how I can save my blog posts from many years to webflow?
@@MatthewGattozzi I did some reading for you to try and help and you're right, it looks like you can only export to Wordpress as an XML file from Squarespace, but uploading that file to Webflow won't work. For that, you'll need to convert the XML file into a CSV format. Here are 2 ways to do that (mind you I've never personally had to do it): 1- Upload the XML file that you exported from Squarespace to a local Wordpress install and then install a Wordpress plugin that can convert from XML to CSV (just search from "XML to CSV Wordpress plugin). Upload that CSV file to Webflow. Profit? 2- Search for XML to CSV converter on Google. There are a couple results that popup. Upload the exported XML file and convert. Upload that to Webflow. Profit? It's a tedious workaround and I hope Webflow comes up with a more elegant solution as that would make it easier for someone to change to Sqaurespace to Webflow, but until then, good luck!
Hey Nat! Thanks so much for this awesome tutorial. I just launched my new blog today. Webflow rocks!

Because of this video I’ve started a blog and a writing habit. Thank you so much!

Yeah I have a bunch if you look through the older stuff on my channel
@@nateliason Awesome! Thanks Nate. I’ll check through your videos

Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this Nat! Super helpful as I decide between Kajabi and webflow
Man! Massive value, thanks a lot Nat. Loving this series. Looking forward to the next video.
Glad to hear it! More coming
I know what I am doing this evening. I hear you universe... I will stop putting it off and making excuses on why I do not have one.
Go get it!!
That kens burns at the start really hit Nat.

Thank you!
@Derek J Fiedler you got it, bro 👊
Can you tell us more about how you set up your SEO settings on your Webflow site? What's the best way to use the fields you customized in the CMS??
Definitely, good idea for a video
@@nateliason Did you ever create any content around this?
Hi Nat, great video. Would love more in-depth talk about SEO stuff for a blog, pretty sure that's something a bit unknown for a lot of people. Thanks.
How does the blogger write blog posts? Would they have to login to webflow and stuff? That's the only part that's a bit unclear to me.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this! I just started a YT page and was considering blogging the info shared in the videos. Thoughts on that being redundant?
Greate video Nate. One question tough, any good web hoster you would recommend?
Webflow has hosting built in thankfully, otherwise if you wanna use WordPress I recommend WPEngine

Nat, what do you recommend for cart/checkout embed? Do you use the Ecom plan or thrivecart or something like that?
briliant
Thank you!
5:48 I always make that mistake haha

You should be able to do an Export from SquareSpace then Import them into your Webflow CMS
@@nateliason You can only export to wordpress- and the Wordpress format is not the same

From where did you learn editing?
What kind of editing?
Which software do you use to record your screen and have your face in a circle?
Using camtasia for the screen share, but then using a separate camera and editing in my face in a circle with Premier
I already have a blog in WordPress...what do i do.now
Same I spent ages setting up a Wordpress sure and the performance is dog rough. Wondering if I should jump ship now before I create too many articles
I migrated off WordPress to Webflow and I've been really happy about the transition
Good info the affiliates mean tho lol
This is great, but still 100x more work than Posterous was. It's amazing to me that nobody has replicated that functionality.
First. Do I get a reply from you, Nat?
Peace
Of course
