    You can learn it in 15 minutes, what takes longer is to figure out why your projects get messed up entirely out of nowhere, now this is called experience.

    Great video. Before starting with Webflow I recommend people take a course on CSS to understand the concepts of positioning and layout. Those two concepts took awhile for me to grasp. Once you have that down Webflow becomes easier to learn.

    I've been so frustrated for the past two days, working with another builder it was hindering my creativity. I prayed and God led me to this video. I stayed away from webflow because I'm in the beginning stages of web design but I know what I want my layouts to look like. This video has been so beneficial to me. I literally just put my son to sleep and am exhausted but found myself filled with excitement. This is exactly what I needed to let my creative juices flow. Thank God for you guys. I so appreciate your channel.

    As a professional developer I can say Webflow is the most transparent interface between you and your website code. Webflow outputs standardize website code (HTML, CSS, Javascript) with an interface that directly represents that code with no extra conceptual models between you and the output code. The conceptual models it does use, like sections, containers, and divs, etc come directly from the existing conventions that web developers already use themselves when coding by hand. In other words, it's an interface that is the closest tool I have seen that outputs the kind of web code a developer would do by hand, but you don't need to know code to make it work. If you do know how to code websites by hand it's the tool you have been waiting for your whole life because it's a great way of organizing an interface to help you code more quickly and in a more organized way.

It's just as frustrating as Divi when it comes to doing the responsive layout. I could be spending two days figuring out how something on Elementor and not finding any solution. I now realize that I cannot ever use Divi and Elementor again and ready to switch. How is Webflow with responsive. Is it better than the Divi and Elementor? If so, what makes it respond well when doing responsive layout?

And do they offer multiple domain pricing for deals for agencies? otherwise, they will charge the designer $29 - $74/month for each e-commerce site and that's expensive compared to WordPress-based solutions. I can have blazing fast cloud hosting running 10 e-commerce websites for $80/month with these server configurations: RAM 8GB Processor 4 Core Storage 160GB Bandwidth 5TB.

    • @PaytonClarkSmith
      @PaytonClarkSmith  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I went through this exact same thing about a year ago. So I can totally understand what you were feeling! For me, my biggest problem was trying to work on multiple projects in the same day and every time I switched between projects I was wasting time trying to get fully focused on that project. What I did instead is dedicate an entire day to just one project and would put everything else out of my mind. This way I wouldn’t get feeling overwhelmed and I would be able to just push through on one project and try to make as much progress as possible. In our line of work we have to make sure that the stress is from each individual project don’t stack up on us and then take away from our individual clients. We need to do our best to compartmentalize and treat each client like it’s the only one we have. The other thing that I did to become more productive is I spend most of Monday just doing A weekly planning session where I sit down and plan out my entire week and plan out each hour of each day of the week and determine which clients I will be working on and what parts of their project I will get done. This way I don’t have to wake up each morning and feel like I have 1 million things to do but not know where to start. I will have a very specific schedule and I know that if I can complete everything on the schedule I can feel accomplished for the day and rest easy at night. Hopefully these things can come in handy for you as well!

      There is no software to install. You just use any browser on a PC, create an account, and start designing.

    HOW TO MAKE THE WEBSITE RLT

  • @bfourney
    @bfourney 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just looked at the website for webflow and already I don’t like it. The pricing seems nickel and dimed, confusing and slightly predatory. And once you’re locked into it they can jack up the price to whatever they feel like a la elementor.

    Can you learn graphic design in 45:00?
    Can you learn copy-writing in 45:00?
    The idea that anyone can learn to do what requires a modicum of talent is just wrong.
    But, I will say that WebFlow is a pretty nifty tool for someone with vision and talent.
    That message seems to get lost somewhere. Eh?
