I just lost a friend to a PE on January 11 of this year. What makes it even more tragic is the fact that he posted his symptoms on Facebook weeks prior, but no one was able to recognize the symptoms. More people need to be aware of this condition. I can imagine that so many lives could be saved by just know this very basic information.

my grandmother is going through this and I am so scared, if I lost her I would be traumatized I just cant wait until I hear that she is out of the hospital

The cast on my right foot post surgery was the culprit of my embolism. Severe chest pains like I never felt in my life followed by shortness of breath is what started it. Thank GOD I went to the emergency room ASAP otherwise I could have died. I spent 6 days in the hospital and have been placed on blood thinners.

my husband has stage 4lung cancer both lung;s ,well he;s in the hospital with a blood clot in his lung,well the hospital did a scan on his legs and said no clots were found ,but nothing is being done for the clot in his lung, so we don;t know what to do, he can;t take blood thinner;s because he was on cumiden since 1999 when he had open heart surgery, and then had entenal bleeding, so they took him off so now we don;t know what;s going to happen,

I think my grandmother had this happen a few weeks ago she is on hospice so they will not do anything not even any test to see and the rest of my family doesn't care or is ignorant 🙁

My first one that I ever had I've had them x 8 and 10 different blood clots massive pulmonary embolisms 8 * my first one I will talk to you fire house checking a EMS area on the truck and it my.out know where 65 in house 89 outside so go back in the day at the firehouse two of medic started get really worried I set there for 30minutes they called medic unit to the firehouse the medic and the medic on that unit we need to go the hospital now
