I've created a personal tradition of lettering, in big bold sloppy block letters filled with various patterns, "MAKE BAD ART!" on the first page of every new sketchbook. So hearing you literally say verbatim "make bad art" made me really happy 😁 Funny thing is I started doing this before I officially got into hand lettering in a more serious way like I am now. I do both drawing and lettering in my sketchbooks. I've kinda always hand lettered sometimes though... I just didn't have a fancy name for it like I do now 😂
Omg. I really needed this. I haven't really wanted to letter for a long time. I do it sporadically but struggle with comparing my lettering to others. Not posting on Instagram really helps too! So easy to get caught up in likes and views.

I am feeling so discouraged. I can’t get my spacing and letter size. I’m still chugging along, but it feels like I will never be able to letter on my own. I’m actually about to download your connecting difficult letting worksheets.
Did you create those pages in that journal?? If so, 1. Wow 2. That needs to be published. People could open to a page daily like an oracle card of beauty and inspiring creation. I love your lettering style ❤
