Not suprised they separated because Lauren has gone to far. She doesn't want OP in his life, she wants to separate Dan from his sister and boss and any female in his life. She expects Dan to respect her boundaries, yet she crosses his all the time. Funny how people who scream to respect their boundaries don't respect others. Dan caving in on Lauren's demands, to keep the peace doesn't work. I've read too many post where the groom didn't uphold his boundaries and wound up regretting it in the end. Luckily, OP has the emotional intelligence to not engage in Lauren's hysterics. Will therapy work, maybe if Lauren is willing to get to the root of her issues and not be manipulative.
