Imagine Almiria snapping to the point of killing everyone remotely responsible for McGillis' death so she forms a group together with Ride to kill Rustal. That would be awesome
Imagine this... Almiria and Mikazuki's kid brings tekaden back to take revenge on the death of McGillias and Mika. Barbatos is dug up and refurbished and they use that and the devil is reborn.
1) Ride already got his revenge. 2) Rustal was not a bad guy, he simply did what had to be done to preserve peace and stability. He even reformed Gjallarhorn, so that it wouldn’t oppress everyone and would be run democratically, and he also pardoned all the surviving Tekkaden members.
The New Patriot Rustal was certainly a bad person. He was a corrupt individual in power who only did things to further his own goal. He like everyone else only wanted power. Everything he did including forming a democracy was to give him more power. Or do you think it is coincidence that he ended up being elected first? He broke laws, manipulated the media, and worked with criminals to get his way. He may have had a different preference on what type of power he sought than McGillis but it was power nonetheless.
They made the right choice. In war, win or lose, there are survivor's on both sides. Unless your writer has had a mental breakdown like Evangelion did.
CHRIS CONLEY IBO is in a different universe, thus they don't need to follow all the "rules" of Gundam. Yes, they did have too many survivors on that side and I did want Julietta to die, but sadly that didn't happen. I am curious what you consider to be the rules of Gundam because I'm sure I can site examples of other shows breaking those rules. And IBO is nowhere near as bad as Turn-A in my opinion.
Rustal's side also had way more participants and a bigger ratio of them died. Just because the named characters died does not mean they did not have far greater losses than Tekkadan. Also, I consider Rustal to be the necessarily evil bastard who can make things move. Idealism and morality tends to shorten the lifespan of leaders who want to bring change to large organizations in these sorts of settings.
@Chris Conley I'm not a big fan of IBO (I'd say it's better than SEED, BF Try, and 00 Season 2, but not as good as 00 S1, most UC, and Wing), but I do have to say a few things. Gundam series are know for having shit stains of season 2 (SEED, 00, BF Try), so I'm a bit forgiving on that behalf. That being said, I wish they didn't go with the generic edgy teenager ending. Would have made the series a lot better if they did that. Also, Mcgillis' actions were just cringeworthy after they defeated the mobile armor. There are many ways he could have done what he wanted without starting a war. The man was easily going up in chairs, and probably could have arranged a test to pilot Bael in the future as others did in the past. Also, the people shifting like crazy on Tekkadon was a bit unusual. A lot would be questioning this despite media. I wish the writer had a bit more editors to look over a lot of this, because it's very lazy writing. I'm also not a big fan if many IBO fans (not saying you're all bad, but many are straight up douchebags). They harass other Gundam fans, and say none of the others are worth watching. After this they call themselves true fans of the franchise without watching any other series. The worst are the ones who say the Barbatos Lupud Rex is the strongest Gundam and Mikazuki is the best pilot. It just shows they haven't seen Turn-A. Once again, I'm not saying they're all bad, and I'm not saying I don't dislike this series. I could give a 20 minute rant on what I enjoyed in the series along with a 40 minute rant about what I didn't like about it. That being said, we all have to acknowledge the good and the bad in every series we watch, because nothing is perfect
To me biscuit was the voice of reasoning in Tekkaden for me, while Orga was the one everyone respected and followed no matter what and Mikazuki was that one pilot that surpasses the odds but not all. I always think if Biscuit didn't die they could of gone farther however i do love the ending makes me feel happy and a bit sad at most of it. The writers and directors did a wonderful job.
Honestly feel that Julietta and Mikazuki should have finished each other off, to the terror of everyone else involved. Would also make the line "the devil is dead" a lot more suitable, as it isn't one out of glory, but pure sigh of relief that this godlike pilot was finally dead.
Gaelio being in the wheel chair is probably a side-effect of the alaya vijana type e being removed in that it probably damages some kind of verve or something when it was removed. After all, it was an experimental version after all. Not to mention, never in the series did we hear of anyone having one removed before, so we have no way of knowing what the repercussions of having a normal one, let alone one as unique as the type e, removed would be.
Really good point and you're right. Since we never knew the repercussions, him being in the wheel chair because of it makes sense. Thinking about, getting stuck in a wheelchair might have been him getting lucky
You're right, I'd say the wheelchair is him getting lucky. Given how dangerous it is to have the surgery to put one in in the first place, having one removed could have very well killed him, and that's just accounting for a normal one. The Type E is probably even more dangerous.
Yeah that's what I thought, as well. Considering modern technology of Gjallarhorn (and Rustal's budget), it is believable to implant the AV system in an adult (as with McGillis), and to potentially remove one non-lethally, although his use of the module likely integrated it too well to his spine to make removal a simple process. I wouldn't say he was lucky, but he probably accepted that his legs would be out as an inherent con of the removal (like I mean he was probably guaranteed to survive, just not at 100% by the surgeons).
Super late to watching this, but there could be two layers of meaning. One, the Alaya Vijana connects to the nervous system, so removing could damage a nerve. On a second more metaphorical level, the Gundams are all named for demons. If asking one/making a deal for more power like Mikazuki did can carry a cost, so could breaking the deal by getting the AL connection removed.
@Ike As far as I can tell from just the anime (not including anything that may be in the spin off manga) there are three types: the standard type which everyone in Tekkadan uses, the type E used by Gaelio, and the modified type McGillis uses (which might not really be any different other than the outer casing on his back).
I think with the losing access to limbs thing is rather thematically genius. Its like, giving parts of yourself to these legendary frames for power. Mika gave so much of himself to Barbatos, that he became the very beast in the last fight. What a good anime I had on the backburner for years. TBH, the ending was pretty spot on. Woulda been nice to see Mika retired and in a wheelchair, being taken care of. But hey, he and others gave their all so their family may reach their place. Mad respect.
Imagine this... Almiria and Mikazuki's kid brings tekaden back to take revenge on the death of McGillias and Mika. Barbatos is dug up and refurbished and they use that and the devil is reborn
He was one of my favorite characters as well, but I believe it was the only rational ending for him. Tekkaden had been destroyed, and Mikazuki is somebody who cannot live life off the battlefield. Orga was dead, giving Mikazuki no meaning or direction in life. Mikazuki was a sociopath, he would not have been a good father, husband, or citizen. Mikazuki also had to fight to ensure the surviving members of Tekkaden could escape.
@@thenew4559He's not a full blown sociopath, he just doesn't value the lives of others as much as those who mean something to him. I don't think he would be a bad father and husband, but he definitely couldn't integrate into society - too much had been done to him. I think he could have been fine living in isolation with Atra and Akatsuki though. Like the guy living in the woods who gets called by his handlers for "one last job".
@@zerosen1972 I guess you’re right. At the very least he definitely does value Orga, I’m not sure how deeply he really values the others though, beyond them being allies he can get along with.
They should make a prequel series around the calamity war. Would be great seeing Barbatos again. The final scene can be a time jump of 300 years when the CGS(Tekkadan) main members dig up the Barbatos. That would an awesome nod to the fans of IBO.
That sounds amazing! So much is lost on the Calamity War that it would honestly be incredible to see some backstory about it. There's also the possibility of seeing some new Gundam Frames as well as the creation of Mobile Armors like the one Tekkedan felled.
Reasons Kudelia and Atra are married: 1. Mikazuki asked Kudelia to help raise his child with Atra. 2. Kudelia liked Mikazuki. 3. Atra and Kudelia are close friends. 4. Mikazuki even offered to have a child with Kudelia as well, Atra was totally okay with it as well. Edit: Stop saying they aren’t married. It’s confirmed that they ARE married. we just DON’T know the personal relationship they have. Either way, they are CONFIRMED MARRIED.
If I am remembering correctly, both Atra and Kudelia also pledged to stand by and protect or be with Mikazuki, so when he died he was figuratively “reincarnated” as his son, Akatsuki, thus they both felt obligated to raise him together.
+Michael Langley, they are officially married, although as I and others have said this marriage is not out of love for each other but more as a signifier for their love for the deceased Mikazuki.
Ok this is a theory I’m thinking they are kinda pretending to be married because of the promise or the three actually did had a secret wedding couple days before Mika’s last battle and both of them was in his mini harem since it was just the two of them and they just stayed together even after their husband death even though kudelia didn’t get pregnant I think she still like to be a mother and because the promise she made with Mika and so she stayed with her what ever the wives called them selves in harem idk if it’s sister in laws heck I don’t know because I’m a one wife type guy and I say they just say they’re married but technically well they had the same husband still considered them selves in Mika’s harem and just don’t want to be a other mans wife because they only loved one man and all I’m say is they’re not really a lesbian married couple they’re Mika’s Widdows that don’t want to move on and just taking care of their kid I think harem share kids.....I think but like I said it’s just a theory so don’t go they said this happened you don’t know what you’re talking about yeah that’s how a theory works it may or may not be true so but that’s what I’m going with so good day sir/madam and that’s all I have to say
it's to protect akatsuki. since he was Mikazukis son he would have been at risk to have been assassinated by Ghallarhorn. Kudelia is a key figure so Atra being married to Kudelia protects them both.
I think there could still be a story left there to tell for a sequel or something. In my mind a new story could begin about ten years later when Mars gained enough autonomy to have its own peacekeeping force, Gjallarhorn has been reformed yet the new government still find opposition from several Seven Stars faction, and a new conflict emerging after the death of former Gjallarhorn leader Rustal at his own home by an assailant identified as the mysterious leader of a new paramilitary terrorist group that wreaks havoc across the solar system. Eventually the conflict draws in Mikazuki's son, Akatsuki, a promising young cadet for the Mars defense force who holds a pacifist ideal due to his mother's upbringing, as he was whisked away by the terrorist leader in a stolen Gundam after being promised that he would take him to 'meet his father'. In a b-plot we see an adult, somber Almiria slowly opening up to a man she met by chance on Mars who harbors a similarly violent, troubled past. A man who unbeknownst to her is the aforementioned leader of the new terrorist group, former Tekkadan member Ride Mass.
the reasons for atra and kudelia married are covered in the Turbines back story K probably married A to protect akatsuki from a lot of legal troubles besides.... they did say they live each other
there illegally married but only to keep the kid safe cus if they threaten them means they are threatening the president so they know what to do with the kid so there married but not romanticly or sexually so the a friend copul buy like i said it's only to keep the child safe I bet they do not intend to have s** nor be romantic with each other they just act like there still friends b
Well in MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS-Episode 9: SAKAZUKI when mikazuki took the SAKAZUKI blood oath and join the SAKAZUKI family he is allowed to have more then 1 wife
gali was paralyzed when he was “killed” in season 1 by mcgillis. the a-v implant also allowed him the ability to walk again besides increase in battle performance. when the fighting is over he got the implant removed as it was no longer needed for his needs, thus why he needs the wheelchair and his demeanor have changed. looks like they were trying to do a gali x julia ship there.
well isn't it possible that gali lost the use of his legs in the final fight against Mcgillis considering that he had to overload as mika did against hasmal and ein after which he lost use of his limbs
in Season 1, McGillis probably dealt what he thought was a killing blow, Gjallahorn has a lot of resources so im fairly certain that once he was found scarred and half dead it was easy enough to fix him. As for his inability to walk, seeing as how despite having overloaded to beat McGillis, he was walking and running just fine during his final confrontation with McGillis. Id assume that he lost his ability to walk from the removal of his Alaya Vijnana. It IS implanted into the persons spine after all so to have it removed would likely cause irreversible damage.
Joshua Stewart Gaelio could still use his legs because the alayashiki strain your brain in order to use the Gundam full potential but Kimaris Vidar has Ein's brain to protect Gali Gali
I believe the reason gaielio is stuck in the wheel chair is mostly because he had his connector removed, the type-E connector was likely attached to his spine so having that removed would have some complications with where it was attached... if they severed an important nerve or something while taking the connector out he'd end up partially paralized
I think Gaelio is just paralysed because of the damage to his nervous system from having removed the system. That thing was completely embedded in his central nervous system, there's no way that removing it can be done without permanently damaging the nervous system. And with Mika his was likely damage caused from over straining the system and going beyond the safety limits, which lead to damaging his nervous system. And the reason why he could move fine while hooked to Barbatos was probably that the Barbatos was doing some of the work his nervous system would have been doing, when people with the AV link up to a machine it essentially becomes part of their nervous system and vice versa, so the Barbatos probably worked as another link between his brain and the rest of his body, like short circuiting an electrical system (the nervous system works like an electrical system so probably can also be short circuited)
Gaelio suffered spine/nerve damage at the end of Season 1. The Alaya-Vijana Type E included a function that bypassed that damage. With its removal he no longer has that by-pass meaning he no longer can walk. Though hints are it also was stated that he was in a wheelchair more because he had spine surgery only. So who knows. It could be a combination of the two. He might require assistance, such as a crutch or cane, to walk but was in the wheelchair because the surgery was still recent.
6:26 I suspect during the battle with mcgillis; he turned off the safety limiter (which is like an overclock for the pilot). Which was seen with mika's case to cause the loss limb control (during the graze ein and hashmal battles the safety limiter was turned off, maximizing the suits power and precision)
Kind of neat how IBO was based off of the Shinsengumi. The name Lupus Rex (Wolf King) now makes sense as the Shinsengumi were also known as the Wolves of Mibu. I guess that would make Orga = Kondo Isami, Eugene = Hijikata Toshizou, and Mika = Okita Souji. But I think Orga's personality fits Hijikata more than Eugene.
Loved IBO. Still never understand why Tekkadan crew died so easy yet "the other side" can literally die and still be alive somehow. And yes, Julietta should have been crushed and had her frozen corpse abandoned in space.
When he had the implant, it kind of acted as a detour for his nerves connecting directly to his legs. When it was removed, his legs went limp because there was basically no nerves there.
A note about same-sex marriage in the Post Disaster timeline... The Iron-Blooded Orphans GEKKO manga shows Deira Nadira (pilot of Gundam Gremory) engaged to Mina Zalmfort, which shows that it's seen as normal in Gjallarhorn's circle, too, not just the outer spheres.
their seems like there can be another season made, Almiria maybe being the main antagonist wanting to kill Tekkadan for "letting him die/not helping him" and Rustal's team for killing him.
I could the reason that kudelia married atra is because they might have been afraid that galerhorn was still looking for them and being married to a higher up might stop galerhorn from going after atra
Does anybody know what happened to Ride? I remember that he is Killing Someone related to Kudelia ( I forgot his name) and he is wearing a Scarf which is the same scarf as Orga's ( i think). Is he becoming a Terrorist? Or continue the Tekkadan Legacy...?
After watching IBO, I always questioned why do they kill the great characters without them being able to reach their ultimate goal, so it's to say that in the end, they are just a child and being stubborn does not really mean u will reach your ultimate goal......this question lingered in my mind and now it's answered, thanks....
We need the team to comeback, animate a goddamn alternate timeline where shino's galaxy cannon hits or where orga and the main guys survive or where tekkadan still loses but julia and rustal also gone down GODDAMMIT SUNRISE IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS AND I STILL CANT LET GO OTHERWISE IT"LL BE THE BEST MECHA SERIES EVER
Just watch Ride and the others find Mika's son and tell him what happened to him. Causing him to pursue against Gallajhorn if they ever come to mars. Would be nice to see a mention of Barbatos too along with the other characters. Also would be nice to expand on the Calmity war that was years before their time, like the other gundams that were created as Bael and barbatos were.
Probably but it is still very unlikely because his name was etched in to the gravestone and if he did survive his body would probably be fully paralyzed and soon later dying from his injury. And if he did get his happy ever after than that would be okay.
Or maybe they re-build barbatos and in the middle of doing it the people that are doing it accidentally trigger something which make barbatos some how make mikasuki come back alive with barbatos
Gaelio's connection to Ein in the A/V system was so that he wouldn't suffer the same nasty side effects as Mikazuki from using the unrestrained system (gradual paralysis of his whole body). Since the A/V system connects to a person's nervous system, it's fair to assume that when it was removed it caused damage to his nervous system affecting his ability to walk.
It was announced a few days ago we are getting more IBO, no word yet if will be a new season or movie. The rumor so far it may be centered around the calamity War with MC being the original pilot of Gundam Bael.
Imagine this... Almiria and Mikazuki's kid brings tekaden back to take revenge on the death of McGillias and Mika. Barbatos is dug up and refurbished and they use that and the devil is reborn
To be honest, I have a few problems with the second season. 1.) First of all, McGillis, I feel, was a wasted character. I feel like he should've succeeded in killing Rustal, and he should've been the one to sign the democratic reforms with Kudelia, instead of Rustal suddenly acting like a good guy in the end. Also, I thought Bael was supposed to be a very powerful Gundam Suit wielded by the founder of Gjallerhorn, yet I was very unimpressed with its showings in battle. It didn't really seem like there was anything special about it, even when compared to the Barbatos, Flauros, or the Mobile Armours, which leads me to my next point. 2.) What was the point of introducing the Mobile Armours if nothing else was going to be done with them in the end? I mean, if they dug one up on Mars, there should've been more, right? Maybe Tekkedan could've used them against Gjallorhorn, or at least implemented their tech or something? The Mobile Armour arc just seemed kinda pointless. Also, what was the point of Hush? He got introduced at the beginning of season 2, only to die at the very end without accomplishing anything. He was just......there. 3.) Why do the antagonists have so much plot armour? I don't care what anyone says, Iok should've died waaaay sooner than when he did, especially considering all the dumb shit he did that put his own life at risk. As for Jullieta, she also should've died when Mikazuki wrecked her up in space. Yet, not only did she recover completely, she also fought in the final battle, and was even able to land the finishing blow on Mikazuki, despite the fact that he was laying waste to everyone on the battlefield. She should've been dead at least twice. And don't even get me started on Rustal! This guy has literally never gotten a single scratch on him! He's always one step ahead of his opponents, and he even got what he wanted in the end! It's almost like the series favored him since the beginning of season 2. Long story short, I know that lots of people like the ending because it was bittersweet, but it seemed like the series tried a bit too hard to go the darker route, to the point where it didn't make sense. I can accept the deaths of Orga, Mikazuki, and Akihiro, but I cannot stand the fact that McGillis got tossed aside like he didn't even matter, or the fact that the main antagonist was basically untouchable, or the fact that Jullieta was still alive and well, even doing better than Galileo! I'd say it's a 7/10 for me.
Lucas Heinrich Gundam frames most likely took down mobile armors together and rarely alone which would explain why Bael doesn’t have anything special, especially considering it’s the first Gundam frame created. Also since it wasn’t upgraded at all since it’s debut in the calamity war there’s no way it would have been as impressive as recently upgraded Gundam frames
i totally agree with 1 point: mobile armour. Tekkadan had 1 on their ship, he make a lot of mess and they switch it off. They could send 1 for Rustal in the final fight. McGills was stupid and dumb. Also Tekadan who make a pact with him and fight to the end. Watching season 2 it was like this story with kids fighting on Earth with the Spy (Gallan Mosa) as a generall. They were dying, they friends were dying, but they were still doing these stupid orders because they were believing that the spy is right. I guess this is the same story with Tekkadan and McGills. Since T. believed that MG. is right nothing was reasonable for them no matter the cost. Im not polite about Mika or Orga or even other crew members. The most saddest story for me was death of Naze and Amida and also Lafter. I really loved Turbines of their romantic story. So sad they were dead :(
1) MgGillis wanted Bael not necessarily because it was powerful, but because of what it represented. The common soldiers and people who followed Gjallerhorn were led to believe that Bael contained the soul of their founder and therefore only someone chosen by him could pilot it. The truth known only by the higher ups and MgGillis(because he stumbled across it as a child) was that Bael couldn't be used by normal people because it had the Alaya Vinyana installed, something that they didn't want people to know they originally developed. The only real power that Bael had over the other Gundams aside from atmospheric flight can basically be summed up as propaganda. By piloting Bael MgGillis was planning to be seen as the "True Leader" of Gjallerhorn and take control. He was more or less hoping for cult-like mentality to take effect and overthrow the rest of the "Seven Stars" and be seen as something akin to a god/deity. Kinda ironic considering the machine he was using to do so is named after the king of Hell and leader of the 72 Dukes of Hell. 2) Its mentioned during the conversation between Orga and the Teiwaz boss(I can't remember his name) that Gjallerhorn was searching Mars for more mobile armors after the Hashmal incident. So if any others were found they were likely destroyed or confiscated by them. They also did implement some of the mobile armor tech into their own, Barbatos Lupus Rex. It wasn't just the tail of Hashmal that was added. Barbatos got a pretty big power boost after it trashed Hashmal so I find it hard to believe they didn't take at least some of the other tech from it. As for Hush, my guess is that he was originally intended to be a bigger character but the story got changed somewhere down the line and made him into something more like Mika's assistant. That stuff happens. 3) I agree that Iok should have died sooner, though his slow and brutal death at the hands of Akihiro was rather satisfying for me, slowly crushed to death like the bug he was . No explanation for Jullieta. She was written as a Gjallerhorn ace and that about sums it up. I think it may have been something similar to what I think happened with Hush's character, they had plans and changed them. From some of her interactions with Vidar/Galileo and frequent attempts to understand him they may have planned to have a ship happen between the two as we can kinda see hinted at in the final scenes while he's in a wheelchair and she's the one pushing him. If I remember correctly he makes an attempt to ask her out too. Rustal, I wanted him dead too. As for why he didn't die, he was a commander who didn't set foot on the frontlines. He stayed far away from the danger. MgGillis steals Bael with Mika backing him up, he's off in space with a fleet of warships protecting him. Battle against Tekkedan where Shino dies(RIP Shino and Flauros), he's commanding from so far back he is able to command a massive ship to successfully dodge a shot from what is basically a railgun on steroids. Final battle on Mars where Mika turns his forces into a scrapyard, hiding in space ordering orbital strikes with ILLEGAL weapons. Basically, Rustal is a politician who probably only goes to battles at all because it increases his popularity among the "rank and file" soldiers. It was no coincidence that he won the elections at the end. He had the words to turn the people against MgGillis pretty much instantly and the support of his soldiers which also would have gotten him a ton of votes over other candidates. MgGillis' death could have been handled better. One thing to remember is that the last few episodes where rewritten, where Tekkedan was supposed to be wiped out. MgGillis isn't part of Tekkedan. Allied with them, but not part of them. Who knows what the original ending had for him that got lost in the rewrite. Regarding Rustal, Jullieta, and Galileo still being alive at the end. An unfortunate fact that I've noticed a lot of people overlook is the they were technically the "good guys". Tekkedan was basically a bunch of mercenaries who frequently fought against them and chaos seemed to follow wherever they went. After the Battle of Edmonton mulitple groups started using child soldiers because of how effective Tekkedan, a group of child soldiers, was in battle. Not to mention allying themselves with a guy starting a rebellion that could have thrown both Earth and Mars into total chaos, resulting in who knows how many casualties of both soldiers and civilians. They may have been the protagonists with pretty noble goals, but they were not the good guys in this conflict. I think the one of the points of this series is that not everyone gets a happy ending and sometimes no matter how noble your objective is, in this case the independence of Mars as well as the right to exist, you don't always win. Just because you're the hero of the series doesn't mean you win. Another thing to remember is that these were child soldiers who were given the bare minimum training to get by before Orga took over, had maybe a few hundred members at most, only a small handful of MS pilots, and had to scrape together whatever they could to replace even something as simple as a rifle for a MS. Teiwaz only provided them that stuff at a discount, not free. They were up against a multinational/interplanetary military organization with thousands of trained soldiers(infantry, mobile worker pilots, and MS pilots), multiple fleets of warships, and near limitless resources to replace anything they lost. Ultimately they were doomed from season 1 episode 1. The only reason they made it as far as they did was because nobody in Gjallerhorn saw a bunch of "Space Rats" and "Human Debris" as a threat until they had a survivor, likely Galileo, explain just how much of a threat they were. They still weren't taken as seriously as they should have been until MgGillis stole Bael, started a rebellion with their help, and Rustle's ship almost got skewered by Shino. You can see a pretty big dip in Tekkedan's progress after that happened.
They achieve peace but there are many sacrifices. One of them is with Ride being a potential "Villain", revenge is never a good thing(in most cases) so it would be interesting his character development
I actually like this ending. It ties into all of the thymes they brought up through out the series. Family, sacrifice etc. though, I would like to know more about the calamity war, but keeping it vague they way they did in the series, it kept me hooked, so I can also go with out learning more.
It’s explained in some writers notes that his version of the Alia vanyana (how Ever you spell it) helped him walk along with allowing him to use the type-E system. They were two separate abilities it granted
What if Mika didn't die. Like Julia didn't kill him she knew he was passed out so what if she brought him up and convinced rustal to bring him back to health and talk with him because of what he said before his supposed death and Mika and rustal come to an agreement that Mika will go into exile at a colony that isn't really being helped yet and rustal would stop pursuing the rest of the boys and he then chooses to help their cause with human debrie and that's also what brings back Gali Gali to his full senses
most likely gaelio is just recovering from surgery or something else got tapped when removing the av system, surgery dealing with the nervous system could take a while to heal especially how the av system hooks into the spinal column
i always wondered if they plan to have the calamity war story told. I know at least 2 kits were the original forms, though they were from the side story. (not counting bael)
I mean mikazuki didnt loose his physical abilities until he overdid it several times, gaileo probably overdid it in the last battle, but since they were in a 0g environment he didnt need his legs. Alternatively perhaps when they removed the alea vinana system it could've damaged his spine crippling him.
I think Gaelio is in that wheel chair because he's still recovering from removing the system. Recognize that he was at a hospital. I think even if you are bound to a wheelchair, you don't need to stay at a hospital.
whos to say him in the wheelchair isnt a new thing from when he had the alaya vinyana removed after all he walked in 1G earth gravity just before the finale when they went to get bael and after that and him letting ein use him he moved around a decent bit never in Gravity though but i think the wheelchair bit came from having the Alaya vinyana removed and screwing with his spine
Imagine this... Almiria and Mikazuki's kid brings tekaden back to take revenge on the death of McGillias and Mika. Barbatos is dug up and refurbished and they use that and the devil is reborn
sound reasonable for Alimia to have that tragic incident, wish thought it would not have happened. She went through a lot. Kudelia and Atra? well I had my guesses. maybe Gaelio used the Vitra System to temp allow him to walk, and then recharge. but that does not make sense so yeah how did he survive, with only a scar?
@@youtubedeletedmyaccountlma2263 Tomino: So in this sequel we will have the good guys die despite their upcoming victory. Other staffs: But the MC would have to survive and have a happy ending right? Tomino: *Pawn star meme* Best I can do is survive
Perhaps Galley Galley on a wheelchair was a thing and the only way for him to walk again was to become Vidar as in planting those Alaya-Vinjyala system just like Ain when he was crippled during the battle on orbit
I kinda felt like the plan was for everyone to be wiped out the final op had me thinking they would all die with all the imagery so even though my all time Gundam franchise favorite died I was pleasantly surprised there were some survivors...still kinda bitter tho
Idk. If you watched the anime carefully the system that’s plugged into their spinal cords can sever consequences death and even paralyzation the guy in the wheelchair lost partial ability to walk because of battle yes but the surgery caused him to go paralyzed.
OR OR OR, an OVA that highlights the events of the Calamity War. Imagine seeing all the Gundams we never got to see plus all the chaos and destruction with the Hashmal!
I really wish Mikazuki and Kudelia also had a kid together. It's obvious that he had feelings for her so I don't understand why Astra was the only one who got to have his child. I wonder is Kudelia and Astra are in love with each other. I also wonder why Atra son doesn't call Kudelia mom or mother since Astra and Kudelia are married
hanane nada after Astra confessed her feelings to Mikazuki he asked her if she was going to have babies and Mikazuki also said it would be fine as long as it was with him. She then told him that she would have to think about it even though it is what she wants and later agrees so yes Mikazuki is the father to Astra's son he was conceived while Mikazuki was a live. Mikazuki said he wasn't sure if Astra was pregnant since it was to early to tell but he asked Kudelia that if something happens to him then he wants her to look after Astra and the baby and protect them which she agrees to
I would imagine an ova series about Akatsuki piloting a gundam himself so that he would learn more about his father. And he would have to face Alimira in a graze whom became psychotic over McGillis and swore to kill anybody who she thought was responsible for her fiancée’s death. She would then try to kill Akatsuki since obviously he is the son of the devil of tekkadan. Gaelio then becomes a mentor to Akatsuki and tries to find his lost sister. I would also like if Alimira took the name Vidar to stay ominous until later on in the ova. Like this comment if the writers should do this cause I think it’s gotta be good
if memory serves the reason Gaelio could walk was because of the implant that allowed him to use the type E and not the type E in the Kimaris. And after the war he had that removed this once again causing his legs to no longer function just like before he presumably got the implant.
The way Mika’s name was kind of pronounced triggered me a bit. Kudelia and Atra are LEGALLy married. They were okay with having a Polygamy relationship with Mika. They did this in order to protect Akatsuki. Technically speaking even if they’re married Kudelia is like his Godmother. Kind of wished Mika had a good ending to at least be alive being with them.
@@uandresbrito5685 it's because in the anime they decided to both make love with mikazuki and conceive a child. i thought they both have 1 hahaha. sad haha
One flaw I observed in s2 of IBO was how they basically dumbed McGillis down. Also, Rustal should have died, he basically was just a plot device. Gaelio being the next head of Gjallarhorn or the like would have made more sense IMO, given his interaction with Ein, Tekkadan, and McGillis. I don't mind the idea behind the bittersweet ending, but it could have been executed better. Again, Gaelio would have made a better head of Gjallarhorn instead of Rustal.
I thought of a possible sequel story. It's more like wishful thinking: Ride forms a terrorist group to get revenge on Rustal and expose everything he did, and cannot accept that things are better due to not being able to let go of the past. Aliria would still suffer from PTSD, but is doing better and helps look after her brother. Ride gets information as to where the Gundams (that includes Gjallarhorn and Tekkedan) are located and starts an attack. The protagonist isn't related to anyone from the previous entries, and is a rookie pilot who was rejected due to his poor vision (he wears glasses) - much like how you need perfect vision in order to become a pilot for airplanes, military or commercial - and he gets hold of a refurbished Kimaris after Gaelio gives him access to it when the attack comes, but on the condition that he protect Almiria (they were at the HQ to discuss matters with Julietta and Rustal, and the protagonist started a fight and had to look after Gaelio as punishment). Ride manages to steal a good number of the Gundams, and plans to use them against Gjallarhorn with pilots with the Alaya-Vijnana System. Now it's up to the protagonist and others in Gjallarhorn to stop Ride and his group. Ride doesn't only target Rustal, but also Julietta, Gaelio, and (after going full on insane after plugging himself into a supped up Gundam) eventually Teiwaz and Kudellia - thinking, in his insanity, that all this started when she entered the picture.
Im still upset at the way Mika went out and how him and tekkaden will be protrade in the history book they were done dirty my Rustal and didn't deserve what they got
At the end if the day its all about perspective, if you think about it evrryone have the same cause for what they are fighting for wich is equlity, peace and freedom its just that everyone have their own way of achieving it base on their life. This have to be one of the best strory ever told in the gundam universe and we also got a conclusion so all well enda well.
I would kill for an alternate ending where Shino hits the super galaxy cannon shot

@Aya Fujisawa I've seen u in a few vids now this one makes like 5
well it is true the alya venyata surgery shares blood from the pilot
And Mcgillis is Bael.
Ore ga barbatos
We got the *_NICER_* ending? 0_0
Jesus Christ, that's a brutal writer....
Juho Tapojärvi Right😊
-terrible- writer. FTFY
I would have thought it's pretty obvious that they wanted everyone dead?
Just watch & read Game of Throne or Doctor Who
Well...if im not mistaken one of the director is Kill em All Tomino right?
Imagine Almiria snapping to the point of killing everyone remotely responsible for McGillis' death so she forms a group together with Ride to kill Rustal. That would be awesome
if they'll plan another season of IBO it would only be Ride VS Almira..because revenge..
That would be a dope season 3. The bitterness of revenge consuming them both as Ride and Almira go against everyone who wronged them.
Actually in the evangelion ending no one dies
But it's still interesting on how things would turn out if we got the other *darker* ending tho...
Biscuit would have made a good strategy so that everyone could have gotten out alive, sad that he died in season 1 tho.
Honestly feel that Julietta and Mikazuki should have finished each other off, to the terror of everyone else involved.
Would also make the line "the devil is dead" a lot more suitable, as it isn't one out of glory, but pure sigh of relief that this godlike pilot was finally dead.
Gone a little father? How about gone a little mother? Or gone a little daddy? Gone a little mummy?
-DSNIP-[S4LTBKing] I was so sad when biscuit died
@@Woodpeckerslol Yes I was deeply hurt as well.
That was the nicer ending lol, I would've died a ittle inside if all of Tekkadan died. Thank God for those writers
Agreed. I died a little with the ending we got. I can't imagine if everyone died...
Would have been like gundam 00 all over again
Mad respect.
so, when does Mikazuki's kid get his own gundam frame to start avenging his father and Orga?
Yes Gundam Barbas please?
RytimusPrimeReviews should be another Gundam Frame with another name from all of those 64 gundam frames not mentioned yet
Its likely to happen since non of them are acctually the bad guy since rustal's plan was to remove corruption
Omg why did i reply to this 2 months ago
Imagine this... Almiria and Mikazuki's kid brings tekaden back to take revenge on the death of McGillias and Mika. Barbatos is dug up and refurbished and they use that and the devil is reborn
I was extremely pissed when mikazuki died at the end! 😢He was one of my most favorite characters in this anime.
It would be ok if it wasn't the orbital strike that took him down. There is just no way they would hit. And Julia should have been dead.
Cringe character. Mary sue type. And majorly autistic (in a bad way).
Reasons Kudelia and Atra are married:
@Michael Langley jeez, somebody's either homophobic, has anger management issues, or is just plain rude.
That sounds like not a bad idea tbh. Ride wants to avenge his former comrades.
Yes
Bro that sounds kinda nice
men u got a writer blood in u?

@Invader Jet Julia will be the first to find out
atra: im pregnant. mikazuki: screw this shit im out two seconds later dies. moral of the story mikazuki is a terrible father
4:20 So the Tomino route.
If this was the good final, i dont want see the bad one, sorry for my English
well isn't it possible that gali lost the use of his legs in the final fight against Mcgillis considering that he had to overload as mika did against hasmal and ein after which he lost use of his limbs
cant be, he was still fine in that gun showdown after the battle.
i think the removal of the system caused it.
in Season 1, McGillis probably dealt what he thought was a killing blow, Gjallahorn has a lot of resources so im fairly certain that once he was found scarred and half dead it was easy enough to fix him.
I believe the reason gaielio is stuck in the wheel chair is mostly because he had his connector removed, the type-E connector was likely attached to his spine so having that removed would have some complications with where it was attached... if they severed an important nerve or something while taking the connector out he'd end up partially paralized
so should Shino, Lafter and Azee after what the Graze Ein did to their suits...
3:15 turn on subtitle

Legally married to a tree. 😂😂😂
thank you
H O L Y S H I E T!
L U C K Y T R E E A M I R I G H T B O I S?
7:45 The obvious answer to that question is that it wasn't the Type-E that paralyzed him, it was going 100% with it, just like Mika.
No it was because the type e was removed
There are so many things I wish were changed in this anime : the ending, the characters who died and those who lived, *the ships*
Ships all over the place because of the deaths rip
Only thing I'm tripping over is what happened to the barbatos frame. Surely they didn't just leave it there or scrap it right?
I want Rustal gone. 😡
It's good that everyone wasn't wiped out because we might get a good chance for more IBO
He killed the guy that ordered orga's assassination
matthew natividad Yeah. That's what i'm talking about.
After watching IBO, I always questioned why do they kill the great characters without them being able to reach their ultimate goal, so it's to say that in the end, they are just a child and being stubborn does not really mean u will reach your ultimate goal......this question lingered in my mind and now it's answered, thanks....
Now I can fully accept that ending, tho them dying hurts alot
We need an anime where Barbatos has his remains and is repaired by mikas son and Barbatos only responds to him that would be to cool
We need the team to comeback, animate a goddamn alternate timeline
where shino's galaxy cannon hits
or where orga and the main guys survive
or where tekkadan still loses but julia and rustal also gone down
GODDAMMIT SUNRISE
IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS AND I STILL CANT LET GO OTHERWISE IT"LL BE THE BEST MECHA SERIES EVER
I kinda have a head cannon that Almiria, in the future, continues McGillis’s plan, even piloting Bael. Just kind of a thought I have
The fact that this is the good ending is really tragic
Down with Rustal. Revenge will be mine! 😡
I just wanna say thank you cause I don't really know what happened after the last episode TX Respect to you
Just watch Ride and the others find Mika's son and tell him what happened to him. Causing him to pursue against Gallajhorn if they ever come to mars. Would be nice to see a mention of Barbatos too along with the other characters. Also would be nice to expand on the Calmity war that was years before their time, like the other gundams that were created as Bael and barbatos were.
I think that Mikazuki didn't die because just Barbatos' head was cut , he was not killed there . I would like to see a comeback .
Toxic Kinders thats why
I love a comeback of Mikazuki too. Even in just a form of full Allaya Vijana in Barbatos, like the thing that happened in Ein.
Probably but it is still very unlikely because his name was etched in to the gravestone
and if he did survive his body would probably be fully paralyzed and soon later dying from his injury.
And if he did get his happy ever after than that would be okay.
Or maybe they re-build barbatos and in the middle of doing it the people that are doing it accidentally trigger something which make barbatos some how make mikasuki come back alive with barbatos
I agree I would love to see a comeback. There's alot they could do if they chose to but I don't think they will
Gaelio's connection to Ein in the A/V system was so that he wouldn't suffer the same nasty side effects as Mikazuki from using the unrestrained system (gradual paralysis of his whole body). Since the A/V system connects to a person's nervous system, it's fair to assume that when it was removed it caused damage to his nervous system affecting his ability to walk.
I demand a sequel
It would be cool a sequel with akatsuki, ride, Eugene in the future
Or a prequel. Either all.
Prequel would be cool but it could take awhile as they'd have to make a lot more Gundams and the other MOBLE ARMORS.
MgGillis 👌
Too bad he won't be the same ever again.
@2:54 , what did you actually say there? Looney-vent? Lewd event?
I actually like this ending. It ties into all of the thymes they brought up through out the series. Family, sacrifice etc. though, I would like to know more about the calamity war, but keeping it vague they way they did in the series, it kept me hooked, so I can also go with out learning more.
It’s explained in some writers notes that his version of the Alia vanyana (how
Ever you spell it) helped him walk along with allowing him to use the type-E system.
What if we connect Mikazuki to Barbatos is he going to live in Alaya Vinjuana?
most likely gaelio is just recovering from surgery or something else got tapped when removing the av system, surgery dealing with the nervous system could take a while to heal especially how the av system hooks into the spinal column
i always wondered if they plan to have the calamity war story told. I know at least 2 kits were the original forms, though they were from the side story. (not counting bael)
Claims to "set ground rules" in the introduction..
Ends up acknowledging his "Disclaimer" instead.
When they said Galio can't walk because he doesn't have the alaia vinyana system anymore I think they meant he go surgery to have it removed.
Man it would be lit if there is a sequel but mika's son is older and is the main character
That would be great cause he could probably seek vengeance for Mika
Gundam iron blooded child takes his fathers place
or ride
Would make what Mikazuki fought for meaningless.
As messy as the ending for IBO 2 was i think it is better to let finished series die.
it will eventually happen, mika wasn't fighting for himself he was fighting for Orgas Ideals
The only thing I’m kinda bummed by is that kudelia never had a kid with mikazuki
Yeah...
I mean mikazuki didnt loose his physical abilities until he overdid it several times, gaileo probably overdid it in the last battle, but since they were in a 0g environment he didnt need his legs.
Alternatively perhaps when they removed the alea vinana system it could've damaged his spine crippling him.
they need to find Ride.
He'll never be the same again.
If Gaileo stayed dead instead of becoming Vidar, what if Almiria got into the Kimaris and faced McGillis?
In battle between McGillis and Gaellio he force the system to the limit, so that is possible explanation for why he can't walk.
Wait so what to stop mars economy and government from collapsing. I don't know if an group of child soldiers with ptsd make for best army.
I wish there's a story about mika's son finding barbatos and using it ^_^
I think Gaelios helmet was part of his Alaya-Vijnana system because he always had it that’s why he had neck surgery
sound reasonable for Alimia to have that tragic incident, wish thought it would not have happened. She went through a lot.
Kudelia and Atra? well I had my guesses.
maybe Gaelio used the Vitra System to temp allow him to walk, and then recharge. but that does not make sense so yeah
how did he survive, with only a scar?
Hush death is devastating for me. 😢
Jesus, What was the director going to accomplish by killing off everyone? Pissing of the fanbase....
Remember Zeta? Yeah
@@youtubedeletedmyaccountlma2263 Tomino: So in this sequel we will have the good guys die despite their upcoming victory.
Other staffs: But the MC would have to survive and have a happy ending right?
Tomino: *Pawn star meme* Best I can do is survive
You know Seed/Destiny where the main character lives and having shit ton of plot armor?
Yeah...
Nah, I like it.
This is reverse Seed. 😂😂😂
Perhaps Galley Galley on a wheelchair was a thing and the only way for him to walk again was to become Vidar as in planting those Alaya-Vinjyala system just like Ain when he was crippled during the battle on orbit
I kinda felt like the plan was for everyone to be wiped out the final op had me thinking they would all die with all the imagery so even though my all time Gundam franchise favorite died I was pleasantly surprised there were some survivors...still kinda bitter tho
the removal of the alaya vinjana could have fucked up his spinal cord, explaining the loss of the use of his legs.
Idk. If you watched the anime carefully the system that’s plugged into their spinal cords can sever consequences death and even paralyzation the guy in the wheelchair lost partial ability to walk because of battle yes but the surgery caused him to go paralyzed.
0:01 I like the switch sound😂
Pls IBO spin-off or OVA after Conflict War's incident!
OR OR OR, an OVA that highlights the events of the Calamity War. Imagine seeing all the Gundams we never got to see plus all the chaos and destruction with the Hashmal!
Shino and Yamagi's voice actors actually want a spin off or a what if type of thing and I hope Sunrise listens to them.
I think atra and kudeliat didn't married
Mikazuki asked kudelia to take care akatsuki(son of mikazuki) that doesn't mean kudelia and atra married
It was confirmed by the voice actors and head writers actually that they married off screen.
Nami MONKEY D i think atara married mikazuki not kudelia
hanane nada Mikazuki dies in the end and in the last scene Astra says welcome home Kudelia. Plus Astra son has both Mikazuki and Kudelia last name
Nami MONKEY D but akatsuki ( child ) he looks just like mikazuki
hanane nada after Astra confessed her feelings to Mikazuki he asked her if she was going to have babies and Mikazuki also said it would be fine as long as it was with him. She then told him that she would have to think about it even though it is what she wants and later agrees so yes Mikazuki is the father to Astra's son he was conceived while Mikazuki was a live. Mikazuki said he wasn't sure if Astra was pregnant since it was to early to tell but he asked Kudelia that if something happens to him then he wants her to look after Astra and the baby and protect them which she agrees to
Nami MONKEY D thank you for that
Now i understand what hapend between mikazuki and astra
I whish mikazuki never dei
Reminder. They took the allay venana ( idk) out of his spine. Which could have damaged his legs as a result of the removal surgery
Correct spelling is "Alaya-Vijinana". It takes the name of some that actually exists in the real world history
Like this comment if the writers should do this cause I think it’s gotta be good
And new Gundams would started being built starting with Barbatos mkII
if memory serves the reason Gaelio could walk was because of the implant that allowed him to use the type E and not the type E in the Kimaris.
Is that kid really mikazuki and atras? Not of kudelia and mikazuki?
... Yes. It's very easy to see.
@@uandresbrito5685 it's because in the anime they decided to both make love with mikazuki and conceive a child. i thought they both have 1 hahaha. sad haha
@@That.Chessculated.Quickly Kudelia is fine with it. She was offered a child at some point, too
Wanna see that sequel that follows the life of the kid of Mikazuki.
when next part released....bro please tell mee...am a big fan ....Gundam__iron__blooded..so please tell me..
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
One flaw I observed in s2 of IBO was how they basically dumbed McGillis down. Also, Rustal should have died, he basically was just a plot device. Gaelio being the next head of Gjallarhorn or the like would have made more sense IMO, given his interaction with Ein, Tekkadan, and McGillis. I don't mind the idea behind the bittersweet ending, but it could have been executed better. Again, Gaelio would have made a better head of Gjallarhorn instead of Rustal.
Poor little Almiria.
I thought of a possible sequel story. It's more like wishful thinking:
Ride forms a terrorist group to get revenge on Rustal and expose everything he did, and cannot accept that things are better due to not being able to let go of the past. Ride doesn't only target Rustal, but also Julietta, Gaelio, and (after going full on insane after plugging himself into a supped up Gundam) eventually Teiwaz and Kudellia - thinking, in his insanity, that all this started when she entered the picture.
a lot of info regarding the alaya vinjana system are incorrect care to discuss about it?
Im still upset at the way Mika went out and how him and tekkaden will be protrade in the history book they were done dirty my Rustal and didn't deserve what they got
I hate Rustal so much.
So... What do you think about Urdr's Hunt?
I just want to know how old was Cordelia Ina Bernstein the character in iron blooded orphans in season 1?
Probably around 15-18.
0:16 what episode is the scene from???
I am surprissed why there are no Kudelia x Atra fanart
Sad that Mikas dead
At the end if the day its all about perspective, if you think about it evrryone have the same cause for what they are fighting for wich is equlity, peace and freedom its just that everyone have their own way of achieving it base on their life. This have to be one of the best strory ever told in the gundam universe and we also got a conclusion so all well enda well.
