Inspired by Mentzer last year when things got busy at work I did 1 top set of bench, row, deadlift. Bb Curl. Rest 3 days. Bb press, underhanded lat pull down, leg press, dip. Rest 3 days Incline DB, Cable Row, trap bar dl, db Curl. Rested 3 days amd DB press, wide grip pull down, hack squat, pushdown. Rest 3 days and repeat.
These top sets were done as JM Blakely demonstrates on this channel with partials, Rest pauses, drop sets (no forced reps because I was solo)
And no bull shit in just 3 rotations I put on 5lbs with 5/8th of an inch on arms and 1 1/4 on my chest.
I've gone back to my regular strongman training because you have to train your sport but it works and should be an arrow in the quiver of anyone pressed for time.

This is one advantage of being an old guy. You seen all this shit before and you know it's just another way to do the same thing. Pick what works for you over the long term because this lifting game is about gains over a long time whether you're building or maintaining or staving off loss depending on where you are at in the cycle.

I’m usually confused when he speaks, he goes in circles. I love his content tho.
