So Labour shafted me and mine for years, then the Tories and now, Labour again.
And all Starmers good little followers will say is "well...blame the Tories" just like Camerons' said "well....blame Labour" back in 2010.
30 years, same politicians in the building, just a different few standing up at the front.

"Go after the promoters of tax avoidance schemes". That sums up this Chancellor. Tax avoidance is legal and as a judge said 100 years ago, no one is obliged to pay more tax than the law requires. Persecuting the law abiding maybe a fashion but if she wants just citizens to do what she is thinking instead of what is written down she must change the legislation herself, not throw the product of her mistakes at the innocent. She tried to make freezing thresholds a beneft but inflation makes it an increase. As for the forecast revenue from her changes, I am not sure if she is counting chickens or laying eggs.

We all know where it ends up..the Conservatives are much to blame because they just couldn’t behave themselves in power. RR has just created a supersonic black hole by re arranging the borrowing rules to pay off the miners, the teachers, the train drivers and all those other Union buddy paymasters. This is beyond the height of irresponsibility Labour. On the point of criminals not punished, letting them out early ..is that a better solution ?
