I don't know why, but I've been reticent to add the D-Thing and/or MAFD... I think I'm over it now and am looking into adding it! I don't tend to use Midi alot but it looks like the D-Thing has a lot of great CV options.
@@braintree56 I actually just got mine yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to test it. While it gets mentions because of the MIDI interface, I think the real value is the reset function and the ways you can adjust the sequence order on the fly.
Great stuff, buddy!! Any chance you'll include any of these patching ideas in the patchbook? Have you happened to create any new patches with or without the Labyrinth?
Thanks! I'm not sure if I'll include these in the Patchbooks. I don't have a template for the Labyrinth yet. I have some new Subharmonicon Patches up on Patreon. I've been focusing on updating that book lately.
@@alexandermontagnet3361 I like it. It's definitely my kind of thing with the random generators. Time will tell if it's a one trick pony kind of thing. Every patch I used it on sounds pretty much just like the ones in the video...
@@braintree56 I do like it as well, but I definitely (extra emphasis) haven't come close to mastering it yet. I also am trying to find a reason the band-pass filter was included. I've decided it's for the resonance and emphasizing those peaks and harmonics.
Enjoying exploring the Labyrinth but finding the VCO a tad thin for my tastes … CV and Trigger outs to other sound sources have made this an interesting synth for me
Thank you! Very well done. I will come back and study this video. I have the Mother-32, Labyrinth and way too many modules.
With respect to DFAM reset, have you considered getting a D-Thing from Serendipity?

@@robjasey Where did you get yours? I emailed the address on the serendipity website. Didnt see an option to buy.
I love the MAFD. it picks up on the correct step no matter where I start the sequence.
Hi , Just subscribed to your patreon and toying with the purchase of the Labyrinth as I have the others so on the fence .....
Great patch ideas! Thanks!! 🙂
Glad you like them! Thanks for the comment! :)

@@braintree56 How are you enjoying the Labyrinth? I want to love it, but I can't tame it...

Remember if you get a Labyrinth, always be recording. You will adventure into all sorts of music you will wish you had recorded.

Not going to use the Spectravox???!?! I love that thing!
I definitely need to spend more time with it!
