The conservative defense with a lead late in games is getting really old, I don't know why kirby hasn't learned that prevent defense never works

I promise you Jake need to get better on his read. Been playing for three years now. If you look at most of those pass plays. You have guys open. But Jake Fromm make the wrong read. Plus if y'all look at Jake. Everytime he hike the ball. He got a habit of spinning the ball. About two times. With timing routes you can't do that

But what he do, throw to the side line where the defender is all over the man. But make it look like our guys can't get open. That's why I say all the blame is on Jake Fromm 85% of the time.

Fromm has got to be better, he's missing guys almost every drive. I think not having a good back up to "push" him has made him complacent.
I'm 62 years old, been watching football all my life. I watch every Georgia game multiple times, and for the life of me I can't find all these open receivers all you Fromm haters are seeing.

Naw naw... you've gotta be blind to not see Fromm missing these open receivers. Maybe not on every play but the ones where he throws wild or into double coverage, there is usually an open receiver on the other end of the field. This coming from a true Fromm supporter. Fromm goes through progression then gets to the end and sits on the last receiver. Usually somebody he over looked breaks free but he doesn't make it back to that side even with time to throw. In this highlight I counted at least 5-6 reads that could've ended this game before halftime.

@@thejazzmusician look for the shallow cross concept plays... he misses the cross routes hitting the center field receiver/tight ends... @2:24 if he rolls right he has #15 Cager breaking free... @4:11 he has #17 Wolf breaking free... @7:20 #16 Robertson on a quick hit... this is just on this highlight but actually watching the game you notice other plays.. I'm not taking anything away from Fromm cause I like the dude as our QB, he has heart and has proven his ability... but something about this year he has not made the throws we saw the previous 2 years that you expect him to hit. He seems to be trying to push the ball further down field instead of giving our receivers a chance to make the yards themselves... just an observation. If you dont think Fromm can adjust and make these passes then you just dont wanna win a championship. I wanna see my Dawgs take it all the way...ijs
i’m happy with that win lsu scored only 23 points against auburn and that’s probably the best or second best (ohio state) offense in the country
And we beat auburn by 7. LSU beat them by 3. I think we can beat LSU. Our defense is strong and LSU’s defense ain’t near as strong as Auburn’s. We can beat LSU

@@ericduncan7421 I hope to Christ we don't. That offense is scary, but so is our defense. We scored 27 (granted, mostly field goals) on one of the best pass defenses against Mizzou and 21 against one of the best defenses in the country against Auburn.

Scott Howard was off in this game. Slow to tell the result of plays and struggled to convey how good or bad some plays were. That 4th down stop deep in the backfield by David Marshall probably sounded like a frustrating play if you just listened to the radio, but watching on TV it was awesome.

If we play this same soft defensive coverage against LSU we will get lit up! Not sure why we continually play not to lose rather than play to win with a small lead and Fromm looks like he is regressing as a QB. Minus the one pass for 50 yards to Blaylock Fromm had 60 yards passing.110 total. We've only scored more than 30 points 1 time this year other than the cupcakes. The offense needs to show up and show out!
The DC was playing safe cause they was having to throw to beat us when the game was 21-0 in 4th qtr. But you right tho they deff need to keep playing man and apply that heat!!

I have a question for UGA fans, why do y'all always accept mediocrity? Always excuse the obvious negative that comes back to haunt you in the long run to praise the short term success. Kirby Smart's game time coaching is suspect, there are obvious deficiency with it and he constantly gets a pass for it. I just don't understand why UGA fans are happy with mediocre coaching and play calling. Btw, look at it not from recruiting but coaching. Smart is suspect.

Don't get me wrong, I like Coach Smart, I'm a UGA fan also but I just watch the game objectively. the SEC East is not on par with the talent UGA has but still UGA struggles, why is that. Is it the talent, coaching, or both? I'm just saying this, think if the talent didn't cover for some of the coaching slips he has had in many big moments.

Alright everyones talking about the defense being great and offense being bad.
Defense.... kirby gotta understand that the conservative defense DOESNT WORK! We were fine until we started playing in that way. However, the defense played amazing 1-3 qtrs.
Offense..... Now now.... we actually did quite well. We were away versus a loud crowd. One bad thing is that we really only focused Jackson. We have good WR's all around, but Jackson was mainly focused and Blaylock got a few targets. In my opinion, Pickens would of been the better target at times, letting him have a 50/50 ball that 90% of the time he wins. Or, we could of just spread all of the WR's out. Our run game was way different and honestly it was kinda nice. The entire point of this, is that we didn't give others passes AND Cager was only on for a few plays.
Ovr: We just need to play well, in our crowd offense should be way better and defense should be able to draw them offsides. In the opposing stadium we need to assure that we're not going false start until the ball is snapped.
I agree, but I am glad to see us going to the young guys more on the offensive side. I think the offense would have played a little better if Cager was able to play the 2nd half, that is Fromm's guy.

Herrien is fast, has good hands, can catch the ball out of the backfield, picks up blocks, and can even move the pile. He never takes a play off. You won’t find a player giving more effort than Herrien. He’s all heart.
