I was at this game, and this video just reminds me again what a loud, proud war it was. I had no voice until Tuesday morning.
i come back to this game a lot as an nd fan. tough loss but it was so inspiring to watch that team go into this environment against a great georgia team and flat out battle. nobody gave them a chance in this game and it ended up being a nail biter

I remember the night this game was played. It was The night of my high schools homecoming dance. I left early to watch this game at home then, i went back out to the after party till the next morning. Those were the good old days indeed.

Nd got away with three game changing PI's. One on D-rob and two on Pickens. Unbelievable.
The game would have been worse for ND if it weren't for some of those dropped passes and bad non calls from the refs.

As a UGA student that was there, this game made me nearly have a stroke. Absolute nail biter. Probably the greatest game I’ve seen in person. Super proud of the Dawgs!

This team stands at a very good spot based off what they would like to accomplish this season. Like I said against Vandy, don’t expect everything to come together against ND. Vandy was the first game and Notre Dame the first game against a good team. When u have moving pieces like that and ur not a big play offense ur gonna be methodical. Is there some things to clean up? Sure. But how u look this early in the season doesn’t matter. It’s how u progress and finish. These receivers have looked the part so far but they still have training wheels. Pickens hasn’t even gotten catch against a power 5 teams. Methodically take the training wheels off and let’s see how much improvement they make bc they’re more talented than last year’s receivers. But Fromm, the run game, and defense is where it needs to be, but the challenges will elevate and everyone must be ready

Georgia actually had a good game and it wasn’t as close as the score shows. The PI against D Rob in the end zone hurt us. Then the PI against Pickens hurt us. And the fake injuries slowed down our drives. Simmons also dropped a pass that would’ve been a TD. JR Reed also almost had an interception that could’ve went for 6. The game wasn’t as close in the second half as it seems. We could’ve put the game away but the refs and lack of execution hurt us. Especially Simmons dropped punt really hurt us the most. I know it’s a heated debate but we could’ve went for it with the 4th and 1 but honestly the field goal won us the game. So can’t really argue with the call if it won us the game. But that could’ve added points to the board. But honestly I’m pretty pleased with how the way the game went with exception to the first half. Jake Fromm played great.

Kirby has to keep his foot on the gas. Keep chopping. Way too conservative playing NOT to lose instead of playing to win. Gotta get better in the red zone too (Vandy and Notre Dame). Go Dawgs!!
FG was a good decision on his part. Coley gotta get better at red zone play calling though.
The field goal on 4th and 1 was a smart call. Because if he went for it and didn't get it, that would've gave ND all the momentum
Game had no business being this close. Play calling was horrible and cowardly. If D'Andre Swift averages 5+ per carry, and doesn't get 100, the play caller didn't do their job well enough. If Fromm is on point from kickoff to final buzzer and doesn't get at least 200 yards, the play caller didn't do their job well enough. Our two offensive stars showed they could put the team on their shoulders in big, primetime, top 10 games. I hope we don't contain them again.
On a better note, Divaad Wilson is one of my new favorite players.

ND got away with so many PI, holding, and defensive pass rushers hands in the face. I was at the game and it was hard to see some of that there but that is just bad, especially when they were very tough on calling UGA.

I didnt like the decision to kick the FG on 4 and 1 in the 4th.. We had our foot on their throat at that point and at running back U go for it.

@@isaiahv6120 If they didn't get it the score still would have been 20-17. Georgia was able to get at least a yard all game. This is the fundamental difference between coaches like Kirby and coaches like Saban. Saban wouldn't have been a chickenshit. He would have went for it on 4th down and put the game away.

Still a mystery to me as to why Georgia didn’t go for the 4th and 1 with 6:55 left in the 4th qtr. Could have taken he fight out of a beaten up, tired Notre Dame defense and team with a touchdown 27-10 score.

Yeah for all the hype going into the season they've been very average in my opinion. Just proves size ain't everything, needs a little more to push.
Savage Dawgs Highlights It’s just one game against one of the most physical teams in the nation and our best run blocker going down. Dominated the 2nd half for the most part. Just bc they didn’t go for 300 like they would against Devry university doesn’t mean it’s not a great unit. In fact the #1 unit

Stephen Curry Yeah pass protection was always gonna be the vain of this line. They still got talented dudes that can pass protect but the line’s specialty is a power run scheme. I think in particular this game Fromm didn’t get hit too much. In fact I think all but one throw had a legitimate shot at being caught by his target. And knowing Fromm he’s not great at throwing off platform so credit goes to the line. He had a throw on the run that would’ve been caught by one of the great receivers Tua or Trevor have but unfortunately Fromm has Tyler Simmons lol. But yeah I just think Notre Dame was good with their pressure packages and Fromm was forced to hit checkdowns without putting the most velocity on the throws allowing guys to run in stride. And Notre Dame flew to the ball. But no sacks, I’ll take it
Steph Okoye it was pointed out by a scout on Twitter that Isaiah Wilson who wasn’t in the game came in the second half. It’s no surprise that our line play exploded in the second half when he came back.
