About to do some new Inceptors myself, and was thinking of doing some printed smoke trails again, but I may follow this method. I dig it!. I also may make these next Inceptors with glowing dual plasmas, too, thanks to your vid on it! Great content you've got here, man! Hoping to see more uploads in the future.
Stoked to see those come together! Your video actually inspired me to model my own coil tonight (I'm like level 2/10 for Fusion360), but it was a fun project. I'm contemplating whether to print them in an inked blue resin, make a blue-stuff mold and use the resin and a UV light to cure, or bite the bullet and do your casting/molding method, but hobby budget is a bit tight right now. I've thought about doing three LEDs, two blues and one red for helmet/eyes for the Inceptors, but when it comes to electronics like this, I'm a bit inept and even with a dual CR2032, it won't quite put out enough (and I don't want the base to be huge.) I've got a few other ideas for the plasma inceptors myself, hope to work on them in the next few weeks. Thanks again for the great content- glad I found your vids.
My biggest problem with my suppressors was, hoe am I meant to prime and paint them without painting the stand. The stand in my heldrake is removable but the suppressors need to be glued on

Been wondering what I could use that is stronger than a paper clip. May give this a try.👍👍👍
Even cheap solution for the counter weight. We used a penny with tall pewter miniatures when they wouldn’t stay upright.
A Nickel fits perfectly in a 25 mm round but I still prefer the chips it’s a bit more specific in the placement and it’s heavier

Masking tape and or masking fluid are what you are looking for in that case!
I generally have them primed off the stands. Just stick em to a paint stir stick with some poster tack and then you’re good to go.
@@highstrangness4513 also very valid option
Never considered piano wire, what gauge was the wire you used in this video?
not sure on guage but its .032" link to exactly what I used is in the description but you can also get a pack of a bunch of guages
I really like these models but yeah I hate the flight stands easily the worst flight stands ever made.
Seriously shorter is not normally better but for flight stands!
