This video is exactly what I was looking for. I was super excited to get my Suppressor squad until I tried gluing them to the poles. Absolute nightmare trying to get them in place and not moving while it dried. One has already fallen off. I will definitely give this method a try! Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Thank you for this! Was doing exactly what you mentioned and trying to prop the damn thing up on little bits of junk before this. I swear if any kit shouldve just had a damn 2 or 3mm peg hole its this one...
Thanks for this helpful video. I am totally unfamiliar with the flight stand material, and didn't know what kind of glue would be best to use. I would never have thought to use PVA glue. I think I will go with the liquid cement as it probably would be a stronger bond, perhaps enough to survive a drop.
Thanks for the video - great idea using the masking tape. Those flight-stands are really a p**n in the *ss. May I ask if the Tamiya Cement worked good or was it indeed to strong and cracked the plastic?
Hey thanks for the comments. It worked fine, made the plastic a bit more opaque but nothing too noticeable, the trick is to use the absolute minimum amount of glue

Thank you! It's a great trick, i don't like this kind of stands and I was a little frustrated with the mini. Thanks! :)

slap a rock on the base and glue one foot jumping off.
These stands are simply the worst thing ever. I've found Revell Contacta Professional works well
