Thank you for this informative video. Thank goodness you mentioned that it took some muscle power. I watched 3 other videos and they made it look like you can do it with your eyes close. Ha! I’m, 5 ft, 107 pounds, and it took all my might. I was about to cry and threw in the towel! But, I persevere and some how made it. The instructions too made it easy, but I don’t know how I did it. It stated to fully extend the poles before pulling up. I think that is the key!
Great video and great fun channel. Would love to see coolers, insulated bottles, favorite coozies, beach hats, etc. Can't wait to see how you grow the channel!
Thanks for another great video the Pacific Breeze Easy Setup Deluxe XL that i bought after watching your video is still doing great. Looking to buy another one for us here at Kure Beach. After you using the Lightspeed for my second one between the 2 which would you go with, to me they kinda look the same. Stay safe, Chris.
Great to hear from you Chris! I had a lot of fun with this Lightspeed Sun Shelter but the Pacific Breeze XL is still my favorite. The Lightspeed also went up in price to $130. I'm currently editing a best beach tent video and the Pacific Breeze XL will be my #1. Did you get the extendable floor with your Pacific Breeze?
@@BeachGearGuy Yes mine came with the extended removable floor. For us it really has worked great. I spent the money and added a ARB awning on top of my xterra since here we can drive on the beach, but the Pacific Breeze has worked better once the awning is set up and throughout the day its just easier to readjust the tent if need than moving the xterra when the sun moves. Plus so many people don't get either they need 4wd to drive on the beach and to drop air pressure. I help the ones I can so that awning is a hassle setting up and down all the time.
That's nice of you to help out your fellow beachgoers. I just checked out the ARB awnings online. I've seen them on the beach. They look well made and stable but I can see how it must be easier to just set up & kick back in the the Pacific Breeze.
@@BeachGearGuy Most definitely don't get me wrong I do like the ARB awning especially when we are camping when out on the trails. Just don't really use it much on the beach. You and the family stay safe and enjoy that FL weather.
Great question! The lightspeed in this video may be a bit small for sleeping. If you want to sleep in a beach tent as if it were a camping tent, I think the Pacific Breeze XL with the extendable floor might be a good choice if you lay across the front.
That's a Tairoad 55” Camera Tripod amzn.to/3bPKxy9 It's a tough tripod and it's got a gravity hook which I really need for those windy day shoots. Unfortunately it's currently unavailable.
Wind is one factor. The guy lines are also a tripping accident for other beach goers. A sturdy wind-resistant beach tent without a guyline and I'm off to the beach.
John 11:25-26 (KJV) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Love this guy😂
You are a modern day super hero. Thanks for reviewing, providing tips on how to set it up and doing us a huge favor of stress testing it!
Thanks Robby! I appreciate that! It was my pleasure.
Man thanks SO MUCH! I’m a 59 yr old solo traveler and it’s so nice to see how to tie down etc ( you helped me by letting me bring a mallet
Great to hear! I'm usually flying solo to the beach too. The mallet really is a great tool for the beach. I always feel lost when I forget mine.
So the poles should be attached at the bottom first before it's opened up, correct? 😅thanks for the video 🎉❤🎉
You got it!
I'm more impressed by your tripod being so sturdy in the wind
I use a lot of tripod weights. :)
Love he responds
Yeeeeees....mallet!

Glad it was helpful and I'm happy to hear to persevered! Thanks for letting me know!
I like the Sun Shielter . It cool to add your mother in the picture good to see her! I can see you were problems with setting it up with the wind..
It took longer to set it up in the wind but I did it buddy! Did you catch me sporting the blue paracord bracelet?
@@BeachGearGuy I did catch you wearing the blue bracelet
I shot this video before you gave me the cool blue & yellow bracelet. I'll be wearing that for good luck in the spring and summer.
@@BeachGearGuy it was alright Matt it is a still a great video!
Great job on your reviews, just got this. But which tent it the absolute best?

Thanks! All great ideas! Thanks for the suggestions!
can you suggest, in your opinion , the best beach tent in terms of wind resistance. Kitesurfer here, and usually found winds blowing on 30 Mph

@@BeachGearGuyanything with a closed profile. With that wind speed the problem is the sand that hits you 😂
I can't think of an enclosed beach tent that can handle 30mph winds. I've used the Pacific Breeze XL beach tent in 20 mph winds, but that's been it.
Did you check out the Veer Basecamp tent? Do you think it will make a good beach tent? 🤔
Ll bean sells this brand as their “ sun buster “ tent
I've seen the Sun Buster on the L.L. Bean website but I haven't checked it out on the beach yet. It's on my list.

What’s the tripod you use? It’s around the 3 minute mark
