Musk Says 'I Love You Guys' as Tesla Investors Back Compensation Package, Texas Move

- Tesla investors voted for CEO Elon Musk’s compensation package and moving the company’s state of incorporation to Texas at its annual meeting Thursday in Austin. The pay vote is only advisory and doesn’t guarantee Musk will get his money.
Tesla General Counsel Brandon Ehrhart announced the results before welcoming Musk to the stage. As the crowd chanted for him, Musk said, “Hot damn, I love you guys,” adding that the electric carmaker has the “most awesome shareholder base.”

I wish the cyber truck had the same materials, but was a hybrid and shaped more like a work truck. It isobviously not going to be as adaptable as a ford, but a genuine work truck that I could run my tools of of would be greener than the current non-hybrid with the endurance only diesel gives. Make it B100 diesel.

Increases in executive compensation in most companies are completely out of control, and shareholders put up with it for some reason.

Well when you only pay less than $1 million corp income tax in 5 years, you can afford $2.4 billion in executive pay- also the $2.8 billion in tax funded subsidies and $500 million in bailouts don’t hurt either.

Let’s not forget all the failed promises (FSD is a joke, Semi is a joke, Cybertruck is a joke, Roadster is never happening, Robotaxis aren’t happening) The list is endless, and that was just a few examples from Tesla. I’d be writing a novel if I listed everything from xAI, SpaceX, Shitter and Neuralink

@@jojothetasmaniansassmonkey8866 your expectations out of it are at fault then, understand the architecture and CV modules underneath it, the infrastructure is nothing new but Tesla has trained the models pretty decent and they're on a trajectory to only improve with time. It's the rate of growth which is remarkable, not the current stage but comparing yearly differences. On this path they'll have a model with enough parameters to qualify for RoboTaxis and more emergent FSD breakthroughs.
