Oh my goodness you are asking the same question that I would ask and I bought a car because it was cute and would say oh I don’t know what that is for😂but I really love this video because I am buying a Thor rize hopefully next month and I sold my car back to the dealership so no car now. And I am single 62 years old kids are now semi grown and I want to explore and see my country. I am a black female and I’m excited. Sorry to mention race but it’s just amazing that many does this and coming from a tribal background it’s no surprise.
That helper lady could have saved you and us 30 minutes if she had just never told you to turn off the battery every day. You are using the vehicle every day as your daily driver, so the battery will always have a very solid charge. It would have been better to say if you weren't going to drive it for say 4 days, then cut the power, unless you had food in the fridge. I love that you just spent 115 to 120 thousand dollars and they only fill the tank up half way, unless you specifically request a full tank...what a bunch of weenies....and I'm using a nice word to not get youtube flagging my comment. I like that style of Thor, I hope it works great for you! I want to get one of these one of these days, and I'll have to remember to request a full tank of gas.....what a joke....haha.
Gray water when sitting in the tank will begin to mold and when released can be damaging to the environment. I can believe she told you it was fine to open in drive off. FYI in California if you are seen with the dump open, it is a huge fine. I believe it is in other states now also b
I loved it when I had it. I wish I never traded it a few months ago. I even lost 20k during the trade and this past summer was hard without it. I’m looking for something small that can fit in my garage to tow behind my truck but they are all 30k to 40k. The vans cost 90k to 100k+
@Tiffainy1 Ok, so you traded it because you wanted something else and not because it had issues? If so, then that's good because I may get a lightly used one in the near future and save some $$$$. Thanks for your reply.
@@wstafco exactly, it didn’t have any issues. I was using it as a daily driver so I traded it to get a primary vehicle again. I ended up getting a truck and decided on getting a travel trailer to tow ( The Ultra Lightweight MeerKat Travel Trailer ) which fits in my garage. My HOA doesn’t allow RVs and trailers parked in our driveways or streets. I miss the van though & didn’t want to pay for storage. You’ll really enjoy it.
I’m looking to purchase this RV. I’d love for you to share your experience with this camper van but I did have to say that I feel sorry for you guys. I don’t think this was the person that should’ve been showing the ropes. It seems to me that you guys were new to the RV van life as I am. She did you guys a great injustice. You guys needed to have someone who is more detailed in explaining how things work especially with someone who is new to all this. I’m going to insist on it when I make this purchase.
Salesperson has no clue what she is talking about. Grey water is illegal to drain directly on the ground in most states. Battery disconnect doesn't have to be switched unless you use the camper portion.
very nice orientation , I learned a lots
Thank you
This video was so helpful.
Woow su nice 👏 👌 👍

Grey water right on the ground. Its just used soapy water - wont hurt anything. Sure! No problem, except thats its illegal in most places nowadays.

😊 I’ve had it since September and I already want to sell it. 😅 but I feel ya’ I ended up leaving the battery on since I drive it everywhere.
@@Tiffainy1why do you want to sell?
This is the model i want but I want to change the casset toilet out for something different. I don't like that cassette situation lol

Yeah that was wild, I can see myself doing that.
I just came across your channel. Very detailed overview here, so thanks for sharing. How do you like the vehicle so far?

She needs to learn when to turn battery disconnect off.
