What's bugging me right now is not the planning, it's the actual doing. Getting up out of this chair and going and doing. What's bugging me is that I'm using planning as a form of procrastination. Instead of writing the task and ✔️. I've got to find the sticker. If there's no sticker, I've got to print one. And migrating tasks that are for projects that should be on the some day maybe page, because I really would like it, but not that much. 💖🌞🌵😷
Yes, yes and yes. I would not feel so overwhelmed if I spent more time DOING the obvious things. Even this awesome video was 10 minutes to remind myself of the obvious task to write everything down.
The reason why writing it down is so helpful is because when we write we become an author of those thoughts and feelings that we wrote down. The words author and authority both come from the word auctorem which means master, founder, leader. 😊 great video!
7 minutes in…👍🏾. Wondered why I have a lot of your videos saved. FINALLY had a Sunday morning with downtime and am watching this. Yes. Now I need to make time to watch your videos so I can learn to plan better and be productive.
Amy's breakdown of the CCC method is nothing short of brilliant. As someone who's always on the lookout for productivity hacks, this video exceeded my expectations. The emphasis on clarity as the first step really resonated with me because it's something I often overlook. But Amy's explanation drove home the importance of getting clear on what needs to be done. Plus, her encouragement to take small, actionable steps towards our goals is incredibly motivating. Highly recommend this video to anyone looking to boost their productivity!
I'm glad it calmed yours! :) Mine is like, passive income, gardening, housework, where should I start. lol I came to youtube to listen to focus music but this video came up so naturally I had to watch it since I needed to get things done today. HAHA now I'm researching passive incomes because I NEED it! Hope you have a great & successful day!
I have so much content recorded, but it needs to be edited and posted. I feel so behind! Hiring an editor is more work than help right now. I need a better system, for getting my videos out. Batching my time to edit them gets exhausting. Recording for me is easy, but no one ever gets to see them! 🤦♀
Amy, I would love if you did a video on passive income streams. I’m in the process of getting ready to retire, and would love to use my creative side to make some money post-retirement.
"Really Amy? This is your ground-breaking discovery of how I'm going to solve my problems? Yes. Ma'am. Yes." I'm subscribed. 😂 I need someone who will give it to me straight!
I have a craft room that’s so hard to get into to organize/ declutter/ keep/ donate . I started to do the c.c.c. And wrote many ideas on how I can get this done. It’s almost like my daily to do list. But, different thank you.
I love the example of “open a canva account!” I feel like my biggest issue - now more than ever before- is making the next actionable step too broad and too big. I feel like even with limited capacity due to health reasons that if I make that step small enough, I can do it. If it’s too big, I get discouraged and nothing gets done. I think I just need many small tiny steps that are very doable. On good days I can do a few, while on “bad days” I just do one - but it is one tiny step forward I wouldn’t have taken otherwise. 🎉
I need to schedule an oil change. We usually do them at home, but with our latest vehicle we bought the maintenance package at the dealership. I just need to open my calendar and make the call to schedule it where it fits.
I love this idea! & the notecards... Brian Tracy used to say "always think on paper" But i struggle with having thinking & paper at the same time 😅 Your ideas make it look like its actually possible ❤ thank you
Great way to introduce a new passive income course as my solution to not enough money was stop spending so much! I'm going to have to watch again and really concentrate because the first time through, everytime you said passive income, my brain was shouting "stop spending money!" 😵. 💖🌞🌵😷
OMG.. I lost touch with you! Searched on youtube "Confident woman" and "5 am girl". Nothing worked! But this popped up today! So happy to find you again!
Seriously, getting a project down on paper, clarifying things, and getting to your next action is a big deal, but I don’t have the time to keep rewriting projects that get a little bit detoured by the unexpected. And that happens with a lot of projects. I also want things on paper. So I need to put it into a program that allows me to print it out. I may print it on the back of scratch paper, or on fresh new paper. But I want it printed out and I can scribble in adjustments as needed. If I run out of room, I can update the document and re-print it. I use a disc binder so that it is easy to replace pages with my own paper and a punch. I still have Microsoft OneNote 2010 on a computer that is now my off-line computer. (thanks to no new security updates) and the newest version I have doesn’t perform this function (at least not in the free version. I don’t know about the paid one). But this program lets me tag the next action, with a quick click, and untag things, just as easily. When I put one project on each page, and put the title of the project as the title of the page, I can print out this fantastic list of the projects in bold, with the very next actions indented below it, actions that I consider available immediately. (not every project has only sequential steps). I can call up this summary and see exactly what my options are for moving forward on all the projects that I asked to view (by virtue of the section or the notebook that I put them in.) I can either print that or I can select from that list and manually transfer it to The planner that I am using that day, whether it’s a digital one or a paper one. And sometimes I just take a screenshot of the computer screen. But it is really helpful to see the entire scope of a project at one time. It’s easier to think of missing steps that should be inserted. It’s easy to go get the phone number I need and jot it down on that project page, and in my phone. I will typically do it in more than one place because during weather emergencies, I don’t have reliable cell service, but sometimes my spouse’s phone does. And having things on paper is really good when there’s no power. There are certain kinds of projects that are great to do when there’s no power, but it’s hard to remember all of them and what the next action is, if it’s all locked inside of a computer that won’t turn on.
🙌 Very Simple! I have so many to do lists that I feel like they never get done! Gotta work on the projects vs tasks part. 🤔 BUT I am great about taking action on projects just not always finishing them. I have a saying that "Perfection is the enemy of done" so I always aim for done vs perfect that way at least I have something started that I can review and perfect. Excited about the next video! I'd LOVE to see an updated video about how you write, record, and edit your videos. I saw the 12 week planning process! I have tons of videos recorded, but not sure how to catch up on editing and publishing them! How far in advance do you record vs edit and upload, publish etc... So many questions Amy! BTW you're looking amazing love you! 😘
Diversify income would be a huge help for those of us who have little to no Experience. Having one central place to track more of not only what we expect to be doing, but to track the chaos that has came up in life in a realistic way along with meeting expectations while finding time to plan daily goals or at least take small steps towards progressing.
Diverse income streams are helpful if you are first spending wisely. If you spend money like water flowing through your fingers and you have outstanding credit to pay, it doesn't matter how many income streams you have, your spending will still be out of control. 💖🌞🌵😷
You stated exactly what the issues is with my feeling disorganization-it’s the not knowing what to do with new information. I will remember something in my personal life I need to do or have work meetings and get new tasks or projects and I don’t have an immediate place for me to store that new information. I put it in a Notepad on my computer - all my notes for the day and it stays there. Gets lost 😞
What was that program you were using to track your Project list?? Love that statement of a Task List Vrs Project List~ that little bit of intentional word play
This is fab, thank you Amy! Yes pls to Passive Income video. Plus where/how you manage your projects* - is that Notion you used here? (*The nerdy admin bit - how/where you store/organise them, templates or not. Linked dbases or not... How you then link or copy to your Task Mgr or CAL, etc). Even just "Essence of" will be fab, thank you ❤
😂 GTD Brain Dump taught me that I have SO much on my mind that there is no way I can get to the actual execution! If I want to procrastinate, I go do brain dump/GTD/figure out my next action and then it’s time for bed.
I liked your examples as it was easy to understand. What’s bugging me? Paying off my student loan. I’ve tried DA’s method several times and sometime have made it too complicated. It can get so confusing if I separate the tasks from the projects! lol!
I think that this topic was a perfect choice, wasn't it?:) It's an important issue for so many people.:) I can't believe you're doing this for free = it's fantastic!:)
The thing with the trash happens to me every other week.😢 And it is only collected after 14 days. Thats why I have to figure out how to recycle the most whenever I can. 😂 What I wanna say it could be worse than that. We have a pretty good life❤
Here’s a trash tip if you find it helpful: some trash doesn’t smell. The stuff that does smell after a few days can be double or triple bagged (I use shopping bags from the grocery store), and I put it in a designated corner of the freezer until trash day. Or maybe the night before. If I forget to put it out, one week, it’s not going to be disgusting by the next week. Other than that, composting, if it’s produce, and rinsing out any packaging that might stink after a couple of days - only after rinsing does it go into the trash bin. I am also careful to clean things before they go into the recycling bin. I don’t want to mess up the recycling process.
This is nice but what about when you’ve planned and planned, did the work to execute and fall short every time so now it’s not motivation that’s needed it’s the confidence to try again or try something new. 😒 what about when your confidence is shattered and the thought of trying something else or when you attempt to start anxiety takes over along with thoughts like “what’s the point?”
Mental discipline is the answer to your dilemma. And there are definitely times when it is more difficult to exert yourself in that direction. Generally, people have to start with the idea that their thought process has to change from negativity, or global, thinking, the idea that you can’t do some thing, and that you can never do it. That’s the beginning of a spiral downward. Sometimes people add negative self condemnation onto that, very unhelpful. And basically not really even true unless you… Make it true by acting in accordance with it. Some people are like this, naturally, because they never learned to think differently. Others regressed to this, because life has come out them with both barrels and circumstances are extremely difficult. Either way, it is still a mind game.
What’s bugging me is I promised my friend to make content for the month of March but scared that it won’t be in style she has. I also need to launch my cat toy store - I need to take photos of my products first I also need to finish the Coursera Digital Marketing certification I started 😭
Passive Income video is here! Check out these 7 ideas you could try to get started: th-cam.com/video/AUg6qemQCnU/w-d-xo.html

My word, THIS!!!!!!
Yes
And then brow beating myself for not ever getting up and doing the thing.
Yes, yes and yes. I would not feel so overwhelmed if I spent more time DOING the obvious things. Even this awesome video was 10 minutes to remind myself of the obvious task to write everything down.
THIS!
I will never feel "stupid" about writing anything on paper. Making lists and writing my tasks or strategy is my love language. ❤
The reason why writing it down is so helpful is because when we write we become an author of those thoughts and feelings that we wrote down. The words author and authority both come from the word auctorem which means master, founder, leader. 😊 great video!
I love this comment so much!! 📝❤️

What's bugging you right now?! Let's start working on it together. You'll love this exercise. It's a 5 minute win. 💪🏻
I have so much content recorded, but it needs to be edited and posted. I feel so behind! Hiring an editor is more work than help right now. I need a better system, for getting my videos out. YES PLEASE GIVE US A PASSIVE INCOME VIDEO PLEASEEEEE ❤
I watched the video and immediately applied it. Thanks. That helped.
Amazing!
I need to schedule an oil change. We usually do them at home, but with our latest vehicle we bought the maintenance package at the dealership. I just need to open my calendar and make the call to schedule it where it fits.
Mine is that I need to put in a customer order. A type I’ve never put in before. This video came at the perfect time

Dannng Amy Landino you’re so good breaking it down ❤
Believing in myself to go for it with my custom sewing side business. Ive already made money i just need to market with confidence

Yes, of course a video on passive income would be wonderful❤❤❤
Thank you! Very clear, simple and straightforward. Exactly what I needed!!
Yes to passive income streams please!
I like how you keep these things simple and focus on interrupting the previous brain pattern. Thanks.

Thank you verryyyyyy much for this.
Great info-thanks! Yes, I’d love to see a video on passive incomes. What brand notebook are you using in this video?
PI video coming! The notebook is from the Martha Stewart line at Staples.
Where can I find the pink notebook in the video. I would love to purchase one just like it.
I liked your examples as it was easy to understand. What’s bugging me? Paying off my student loan. I’ve tried DA’s method several times and sometime have made it too complicated. It can get so confusing if I separate the tasks from the projects! lol!
Inspired! Made my canva account and showed my first project today!!
What is the name of the program you used to plan your projects?
I just found you. And one minute and 43 seconds I liked you and your spot on. Hi new friend 🎉
Will you be restocking the pink calendars anytime soon? 😢 I don’t want to buy a blue one.
Thanks!!! awesome video
I think that this topic was a perfect choice, wasn't it?:) It's an important issue for so many people.:) I can't believe you're doing this for free = it's fantastic!:)
Yes to the passive income please! And I'd love to know what app you use to track your projects. :)
I use Notion. More on Passive Income and project management soon!
thank you! @@AmyTV
OMG, please go over project planning! Please create a video on passive income.
All happening soon!
Great video, Amy what is the name of the platform you are using to keep the projects.
Thank you for making this video @amylandino. This is very timely and helpful.
I’m looking to do this, but what does everyone use to keep track of all the projects and tasks if not on paper???
OMG! I did do the same thing with the trash last week lol
OMG I can't forget this week.
I just subscribe love this video.❤❤❤ 😊😊😊❤❤❤
How do you set up projects vs lists? I write in notebooks and I mean everything but it’s difficult to find it again.
Would love a video on passive income streams! Thanks, Amy!
I am interested in the future video you mention, yes, please!
I have read Getting Things Done 3X and each time I get clearer on it, but if you could break this down further I would greatly appreciate that 💕
What planner is that pink disc bound?
I just came across your channel and I love it, I had to sub
The way you just accidentally reminded me to set out my trash. 😂

I love you for the garbage can bit. 😂
I tried to pay attention but you look like Billie Eilish and I kept feeling pranked! 😂
haha well that's a new one!
Part A ~ New monthly budget to increase savings and minimize expenses is the other floating burden!
Part B… or maybe this is part C 😅 ~ A structured out spreadsheet to use for the month
C part ~ Create a dummy spread to run through to see if it’s functional for my purpose..
Passive Income streams please!
The junk drawer. I need to clean it and it keeps getting pushed out.
On a tough day, the next action might be to walk to the room where the next thing has to be done.
What’s bugging me is I promised my friend to make content for the month of March but scared that it won’t be in style she has.
I also need to launch my cat toy store - I need to take photos of my products first
I also need to finish the Coursera Digital Marketing certification I started 😭
Yes to passive income video

Oh wow that ended kind of randomly 😭 Never seen a TH-cam video not have some sort of outro 👀 Love the thumbnail though !!!
I've been all about the Irish Goodbye lately lol
Writing the next action down is so hard... It often takes ages to actually identify ..
@Amy .. yes passive income video please
or is it not sped up? im questioning, either way it sounds a little tinny xxx ly though x
Marketing for canva
I am stressed listening to this video. If people would just slow down and stop doing and buying so much, production wouldn't be so important.
