Hey yeah same i'm trying to launch my own sauces and its already taking longer than a year to just perfect the recepie and have the ph down to where its shelf stable and i'm taking food saftey courses and to see this lady do what she did is just a huge punch to the gut. Makes me feel like my work is gonna be even harder trying to convince ppl its safe when i'm taking all this effort but then shit like this is out there.... i will probably have less sales bc the bad publucity this got.

Most chef tried making the pink sauce only to be disgusted as a result, my heart goes out to them.
I loved how in the talk show, chef Pii stated that she contacted EVERYONE who got a bad batch directly…. And when this girl said “Pii, you could’ve reached out to me, and I’d have let everyone know that weve been in contact etc” ONLY to have Pii say “why would I do that, you’re not special”…… not even minutes after claiming she contacted ALL her customers with a bad batch. And Kuramo totally blew past that to blame this poor girl.

Yea the sheer fact that she refused to comment on the test results basically proves beyond all reasonable doubt that there was SOMETHING harmful in there, likely harmful bacteria. But she’s probably worried that in a courtroom, it could be deemed slander since even though she had clean hands that were JUST washed with soap so it 10:58 wouldn’t realistically add a bunch of harmful crap, she likely still doesn’t think it’s worth the risk.
@@limitbreak2966 I don't think a case for slander would hold up in court if there is evidence, because it's the truth and she went through the correct channels to prove it. Not to say there wouldn't be insane pushback most likely from any followers of the saus.

This situation is unbelievable. Love the part on the show when she was being told to “check the labels, reach out and tell me what I could do right”. Like that’s literally the owners job.
I think this woman handled being singled out and made to be a villain with a lot of class and grace. I’m also glad she didn’t back down from the criticism because she wasn’t wrong in this situation.

And like the other person said, people cope differently and some people "experience" similar things to get over them. Her going on this channel to explain herself might not make sense to you, but it made sense to her. She probably wanted to share the results and explain her side of the story more clearly.

the show is basically a drama talk show more than anything. Usually people go on there with relationship problems.

Just mix yogurt with raspberry coulis and you’ve got a really vibrant pink colored sauce. Only downside is it’s not really good with savory food but it’s amazing for desserts.

Chef Pii killed her business before it started by rushing it and selling it before going through the necessary steps. THEN blaming other Tiktokers for their fair reviews and giving herself bad PR. If she had taken the time to go through testing, FDA approvals, etc and shared that journey, TikTok would have continued to support her.

I’m really impressed with how she spoke. She handled questions in a way that kept drama low and also seems like a lawyer would be happy with. I can only wish I had that kind of restraint and ability.

She’s definitely being paid to not speak bad about the sauce and not talk about or release the results. She avoided any incriminating questions about the sauce. The results are completely relevant, people deserve to know what they consumed and the chef doesn’t need to be protected for their own negligence. Especially with how much the chef doesn’t care about it all and is blaming everyone for her own dangerous actions, she isn’t deserving of recovering from it.

What bothers me is that kind of support adds to this fire that gives Chef Pii a free pass to not take accountability. But I understand why Allured acted like that because it seriously seems like they threatened her with legal action.
You don't get a second chance on first impression. The Pink Sauce Lady failed on her first impression.
They really tried to silence her about the lab results and it sucks she feels pressure to not release them. Hopefully someone else can get it lab tested so we know what was in that sauce without sending hate to AlluredBeauty.

It still kills me that the "chef" didn't know who the FDA were. That clip immediately answered so many questions I had about the situation when I first started hearing about the Pink Sauce Scandel of 2022.
It's also scary because we just all know her kitchen isn't up to the sanitation requirements of selling food commercially. She didn't do her homework.
Now that she’s working with someone on her product, I truly hope she is listening and learning and hopefully she has figured out what the FDA is and what it’s for 😂.
If we're talking about the clip where she says "What do you mean FDA approved" then nah man. She's right that FDA approval is for drugs and medicines and such. Internet time goes faster than I can keep up with, and this whole thing will probably be forgotten in a month, but I'm genuinely glad you reached out to her and got her perspective. I am also absolutely impressed how composed she's been, especially during that talk show. To simply be a customer receiving a bad product becoming a guest on a show, who get's blamed for her honesty, is just wild to me.

i think you need to FDA approved to sell any new medical product, but are not required to be FDA approved to sell food? Unless the ingredients are unusual- but i think if she uses ingredients already approved by the FDA its fine to not get the actual product approved. I think that is what she was referring to.

It's really sad how much people will fight and defend someone they know is in the wrong just because they have something in common. There were many videos of black women getting bad sauce from Chef Pi and she was nasty and rude to EVERYONE including black women. She'd have treated those people just as nasty had they complained or if the woman who sent it to the lab was black she'd be just as rude and probably accuse her of not supporting black owned businesses
