Hi Tim. Thx for sharing your expertise and your time spent to explain to us how to process to avoid some issue...😉 There is a new Gopro accessorie.. the "Boom" which does use the suction cup mount as well. 🙃😉
Hey Phillipe, Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I have seen vision of the new 'Boom' and it does look really good. There are three variations so it is a bit hard to decide which one to get! Although the one with the suction cup does look ideal for travelling.
Hey @livelife4jesus73 ! Welcome to the amazing world of gopro ! Thankyou for subscribing! I hope you have found my tutorials helpful so far ! if you have any questions don't be afraid to reach out. all the best !
Don't ever rely on just that suction cup when mounting outside. I suggest using a shoe lace to tie to the mirror (or something else) in case the suction cup pops off. At least the camera survives a failure.
Thats a very good idea. I was relying on gopros claim on the side of the box but having a backup plan is def a good thing . Especially when the Mount gets older. Thx for your comment and for checking out my video.
Hey @TheBigHomieTre ! thanks for your comment. What kind of material is your boat made of ? I would definitely suggest getting a Floaty for your gopro anytime you are near the water. Do you have one of those ?
Hey @qinshihuang5457 ! Thanks for your comment! I have made a video on Timelapse that I hope you find useful. If you have any other questions about action cameras please feel free to hit me up. all the best. th-cam.com/video/awgkjTAqiEo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=COXPjOSh4WHtr93Z
😆 Fair point , mate. I was a bit nervous before I filmed that video and I checked and double checked the suction mount and it went really well. I normally prefer to affix it to my windscreen too. Thanks for your comment and all the best.
Thanks a bunch
I’ve come back to your video a few times to get it right
Hey Allen . Thankyou so much for your comments. So glad you found my little video helpful. All the best.

Do you think that will stick to the side of a boat?

How do you do a time lapse video?

You have to be brave to drive around with your camera stuck on the side of your car. I’ll stick to interior shots.
