One thing I do is backwards planning: start at the date where you have an event or something significant happening on the calendar - wedding, birthday party, holiday, etc. - and put your tasks to prepare for that event every day until you reach today. It helps to break up your event prep into smaller chunks every day.
New Subscriber here 😀 just found your channel loving all your tips, cooking and time saving vlogs. Just what i needed especially coming up to Christmas 🎅🏻 🎄
Evening thank you for posting. I have just cleaned my oven as I’m starting my Christmas pre clean. Little man at after school club so what better time to start. Looks amazing Can I ask about the app, I have the paper downloads pinned on my fridge , is the app in more depth is there playlist etc would it be worth me purchasing. X
Hi!The app is customisable, you can swap days around, etc and there are playlists linked to each day. If you check in with our support team over at support@theorganisedmum.blog they'll answer any specific qs you have to help you decide :) x
If your young child is in the bath you really should give your child your attention. I would consider cleaning the bathroom at the same time is a sort of toxic productivity. You are ignoring your most precious thing, your child, in favour of a toxic notion of productivity. Our children deserve our attention.
Also when you've spent all day, giving your child all your attention, 5 min isn't going to harm. Also I can multi task and interact with my child song songs, ask them things, listen whilst cleaning for a few minutes

The best thing I’ve picked up from your videos is use the spin cycle and laundry will dry quicker! This has saved me sooooooooo much time TFS
I agree. It was a great tip. 🙂
Agreed! Like listen to podcasts while you clean
Yes I also avoid use of the phrase Low Hanging Fruit. Maybe because i never seem to go for the easy thing first
Thank you Gemma, I love your app ❤️ and now your channel 😆 x
Yay! Thank you!

I wasn’t sure if there’d be anything useful here - I know I spend too much time on my phone 😂 but there really was.

She did say if you're fed up of singing row your boat....
Gemma isn't saying don't interact with your child! Quite the opposite
Children also hugely benefit from seeing someone carry out daily tasks, normal activities. When I clean I can still talk/interact.
I do odd jobs while my child has my attention in the bathroom.
