Getting my head round it's never going to be perfect and I've done 20-30 minutes helps me so much. The calm kitchen clean or washing up sessions really help with that. ❤❤
OMG this video is so well timed for me! I had a minor meltdown (in my head!) last night about the house - groundhog day with picking up/replacing the same items around the house time after time, day after day. I then feel guilty about getting annoyed, I know I’m so very lucky to have a wonderful husband, a 17 yr old son and still be able to be a stay at home Mum - but of course that adds pressure because I then feel that all the housework etc. is down to me as I’m there all the time. It was huge light bulb moment when you said that surface clutter is just that and if you clean regularly then your house isn’t dirty - a mental game-changer! Also to hear that your 18yr old is still messy makes me feel I’m not alone, I need to encourage my son to take more responsibility for his room and the general household clutter he makes - his reply is always ‘I’ll do it later’ which of course never happens! Thank you for another great video Gemma 💐
Enjoy your children and don't stress about the housework. One day they'll be grown up and gone and you'll have a perfect house and miss them like crazy!!
I have a toddler...a 4 year old...and two teens...plus two tweens...at least my adult son has learned to be cleaned...and my 16 year old helps a lot...so there is hope!! They will learn...

Groundhog Day! That’s exactly how I feel sometimes - such a good comparison!
You are definitely not the only one feeling this, oh yes the comment "I'll do it later " 🤦🏻♀️🥰

I'm constantly just doing surface stuff and need to do the deeper things so I actually get somewhere.
💪🥰
I needed this! Thank you.
🥰🥰
Sometimes, it seems like Groundhog Day. But that's ok, home is clean, and dinner is in crockpot 😊 can't do it all in one day!
Absolutely 💯 🥰
