You can also adjust the magnets halfway, for the “medium” setting. Well really, you can do it anywhere in between.

I got the cube todaya nd I can already say its amazing. The weak magnets are weak and yhe strong ones are around gts3m level. The adjustments also make a huge difference so if you really like fast cubes, this a very good cube.

Cuber - on -Duty They’re all great. Picking one over the other won’t drastically make you better or worse. 3x3 cubes are now really similar in performance.

So I have the gts3m, and the EDM. And I find myself never really using the adjustments those cubes have. I always flip between high#clicks and low #of clicks on spring adjustmenti just can't find one I like. To many very small adjustments that aren't necessary... My main right now is meilong 3x3 that I magnetized. I found the perfect setting with a normal screw and normal magnets I chose. The gts3m sits in box and the EDM is had horrible problems with the magnets changing all the time (I ended up gluing the magnets on place one way) and it being a sticker cube. I'll get the yjmgc elite but I feel it will also be a waste. Regular cubes I feel are fine enough. More options doesn't mean it's better ..

did you ever have the issue that the magnets don't stay in place with the strong setting? after a few solves, the magnets turns back towards weak
recently bought the mgc elite 3x3. I got the product and it is really good. But i noticed that one side of each face of the cube has weaker magnets. This is my first magnetic cube so it took me a while to notice this. Is this a common problem or just a faulty product?

I use spring setting 2 and half magnet strength for this cube.

The AoSu WR M kind of sucks out of the box but with a little piece lubrication and some breaking in, the cube feels quite nice. It's performance is somewhat similar to the AoSu GTS2 M so that's what I'll be comparing it too. Corner cutting is about the same as the GTS2, so really good. With proper tensions the cube can cut just about 45 degrees which is crazy for a 4x4. It's not quite as fluid as the GTS2 when turning, and the slightly stronger magnets make that even more prevalent during solves. However, the cube is VERY fast, even faster the the AoSu GTS2, and the smaller size (59mm as opposed to the AoSu GTS2 M's 61mm) makes it even easier to overshoot, at least for me. On the topic of the cube's smaller size, let me talk about single layer slices.
While PLL parity on this cube isn't terrible, the cube is so small that when doing single layer slices, my fingers will often catch on the adjacent layers. It isn't a huge problem, and won't even affect you if you have thin fingers, but it is something worth noting. On the plus side, the smaller size make the cube easier to control in your hands which is great, especially during 3x3 stage.
A complaint I have about this cube is the green shade. As you have likely seen, the green shade on the AoSu WR M is a weird, darker, almost forest green, as opposed to the lighter almost pail shade of green that MoYu has been known for as long as I can remember. I know some people like this new green, but to be honest, I hate it. The brightness is pretty much identical to the brightness of the blue shade which isn't actually that big of a problem but my recognition relies almost more on the brightness of the colors than the actual hue. But that's just me.
The deciding factor that prohibited this cube from becoming my new main is how stable it is.
That sounds crazy doesn't it? Stupid even. But let me explain:
The GTS2 has a slight flex to it which makes the cube very... Malleable for lack of a better word... When turning during a solve, the WR M has an inherent rigidity to it that is actually a little off putting to me. I feel like in combination with the super strong magnets, smaller size, and very fast turning, this cube would do better with more flexibility. This can be made a little better with looser tensions, but with looser tensions comes the potential for pops, which similarly to on the GTS2, can happen when turning particularly roughly. I've only had this happen once, and it wasn't even in a solve, but then again, my cube is on pretty medium tensions.
To summarize:
This cube is good because of corner cutting, present magnetic feeling, unique smaller size, and generally nice feeling. It's shortcomings are that it can be too fast (remediable), it feels very rigid, it isn't as fluid as some other cubes, and the small size make it easier to overshoot. There is also the weird green shade but that's really a personal preference thing.
Would I recommend you this cube? If you have 40 bucks to spare, and/or you have a thing for small cubes, then yeah, I don't see any reason not to pick this up. Even though it isn't my main, I am glad to have this cube as a part of my collection. It's fun to solve on, largely because of the smaller size. I wouldn't say it's an upgrade from the GTS2, but it's definitely not a downgrade either. If you don't mind a fast cube with particularly strong magnets, this is likely a good buy. If you are looking for the best 4x4 on the market, I would still have to wholeheartedly recommend the AoSu GTS2 M.
Note: I use the AoSu GTS2 M as my main. It's setup with Traxxas 10k, Cubicle Silk, and DNM-37. My WRM is setup with Celeritas and a little bit of Gravitas.
I really hope this was helpful because it took a while to type. If you have questions about any other cube, I've tried almost every cube and I have a collection of almost 80 puzzles so I'm happy to help you out.
Sorry I can't give a review of the XS, that's one of a couple cubes I still haven't tried yet.

@@NoahS4226 Oh boy!!!! Thanks for that man, that's super in depth! I hear you on the rigidity - I owned a meilong 4x4 (until it popped to oblivion for the 12th time) and it had that problem. Very unforgiving. Was wondering if the WR might share that problem due to its size and similar design features.
Ben Silashi just upgraded from GTSM1 to WRM. WRM does sometimes pop, popping is worse than GTSM1 which never popped. but WRM is definitely better in every other aspect.
Haven’t really used a GTS2M so thats all i can say.
@@CK113th121 The WR M should never pop. I average about 48 so I turn somewhat quickly and I've done hundreds of solves on it with 0 pops. Your tensions are too loose

I actually just got this cube forgetting about the flaws he mentioned. And on a positive note it's my only cover that lets me know when I'm not turning accurate enough lol.

Super Stuff it's a good cube. Used by Mats Valk for 4.74 WR Single. It's very controllable and almost everyone in tje speedcubign comunity likes it
