i love your video so much shawn :) thank you so much for still uploading cubing videos for the past a lot of years ^_^
I love the feel of the v2. It feels so lightweight and satisfying to turn. But I like it more as a fidget speedcube when I just want to randomly turn or spam algs.
I get some catches when I do full solves which I don't experience much on other flagship cubes.
As I'm beginning to appreciate the different feelings of different cubes, you just convinced me to get this. I recently got the original MGC (non-Evo) and it was similarly singular. Also I heard there will be a core magnet version of this coming soon. Do you think I should wait for that to come out?
gr8 video
❤
Will you review the ball core edition??
Surprised by how this cube doesn't have core magnets
A couple months or weeks Yj releasing MG C Evo with core magnets
YJ release a video for the evo II with core magnets, but I'm sure this version is the one that doesn't have
They just released it with core magnets
For three dollars more you can get there the core magnets.
“It’s way too fast”
*adds lunar*
Yes. The idea that a thin lube just makes cubes faster is a misunderstanding on how cube lubrication works.
@@SpeedCubeReview The only lube I've used that consistently makes cubes faster is DNM-37. Even lunar has a tendency to slightly slow down some of my cubes, but it is my preferred because it doesn't make things gummy
when you gonna unbox the new gan 356 M E ?
Currently, I have no rush to do so. It's basically the exact same 356m with some slight adjustments of what it looks like. Nothing that is really enough to warrant a quick release video.
@@SpeedCubeReview okay
In their social media put-ups about this cube YJ is talking about the EVO v2 having core-corner magnets
You are *not* talking about it having core-corner magnets ...
Why is that?
I'm not talking about it because it doesn't exist. There are no core/corner magnets.
@@SpeedCubeReview I gotcha, so the EVO cube in the video is the first iteration of their v2 and not the one I've seen them post about on social media that is on pre-order (*with* c-c)
*side note:* do you have any gigs this weekend? been a while since you mentioned *music* bro😎
Practically every weekend I have a few gigs that I do. I have another gig tomorrow.
Awesome Possum!
GL, I mean "Break a leg!"
Re: no core magnets... you so often do unboxings that you got from the mfg that I guess I thought this was one of those and that YJ had sent you the v2 that they revamped with core magnetization... you're right of course, there is literally no reason to buy the v2 without core magnets ha
i probably would’ve given it a try if the logo didn’t look like it was typed in google docs
The puzzle includes core magnets
None exist in the cube. I am not sure where that rumor has come from but I cannot seem to find that info online either.
@@SpeedCubeReview open the cube 😀
I 100% did.
I believe YJ is releasing a separate version of the cube with a magnetic core sometime in the near future, but for now this is the only version
According to the Cubicle: 'This version has corner/core magnets to add stability to the puzzle.'
The plastic and colors look bad.
