nice q-beard, i love the 75g for my AC's, just got a 10g aquascape with shrimp and CPD. Show us some Cichlid tanks, top 10 maybe. And everyone wants to see the mudskippers lol, cheers bro.
Agree, I like a tank where it’s easy to reach the bottom, so that 40 is a great size. The front to back of the 75 makes it look much bigger than it is, another great size. I see some beard algae coming in 😉😀👍🏻
That’s so funny! I loved my 40 breeder especially for aquascaping with wood and plants. After researching, I just bought my first 75 gallon. I am going to use an idea of Rachel O’Leary’s to have a 75 gallon nano tank. I want to replicate the large populations of nano/small fish in this tank! So excited! Thanks for so many great videos! I am learning so much from you. 🙏🏻
I went from a 10 gallon as a child, to a 20 as a teen, then jumped to a 55 when I was in my 20's and someone moved out of a building I managed leaving behind a young colony of 7 Frontosa. I kept livebearer's up to that point and didn't know much about cichlids let alone Fronts. After 1 year those 2" fish were not 2" anymore and my research had me buying a 120g - the largest that would fit in my house comfortably. Still have that tank. That colony lived 22 years almost. Now that 120g is a heavily planted nano community. I never did get to experience the 20 breeder, but it seems to be very popular. Maybe one day. :)
My community tank is a 40 gallon breeder. I have several 29 gallons and I’m considering upgrading them to a 40. My 2 Green spotted puffers are in a 29 so upgrading to a 40 would be better. Love the new look to your fish room. 🔥
Nice video again my friend!!!I always have something to learn or agree in what you are talking about!!I have one 65 gallon (4 feet long,22 inches tall,16 front to back) , one 60 gallon (40 inches long,22 inches tall,16 front to back) and a 55 gallon tank (4 feet long,18 inches tall,16 front to back) and I can keep enough in them average size fish or pretty big ones and I'm very satisfied of those tanks!!I believe at about those sizes and capacity tanks are the best, not to big not too small!!Keep up with the excelent work, cheers!!
It's fun trying to figure out how to squeeze as many aquariums into a space as you can get 🤣♥️ your tanks and room are looking amazing. A little slice of heaven ♥️🙏 thanks for sharing. The beard is tight!! Stay safe and well!🌱🌿🐟
I had ordered a 50 gallon for my Juvie Peacocks that are coming out of the Fluval Flex 32, and after watching this video the other day I ended up cancelling that tank and ordering a 75...Thanks to Mr Zenzo👌🏼🙌🏼
Mr. Tazawa have enjoyed your videos since July of 2020, started out with two 10 gal. tanks and i have aquired now a 40 breeder, two more 10 gallons, a 29 gallon, and recently a 48x17.5x15divided by 231=52.97gallon (custom made)....they all are awsome also cinder block three shelf fish rack actually four shelf; ceiling was too low had to break it up. being shut in and retired threw caution to the wind......life long desire.....since getting my first tank in high school.
i have a small space requirement and my first tank was a 20 xtra tall 20L x 10D x 24Tall very difficult to scape but it came out really nice thanks to all of you content creators. i cant wait to have a few 40 breeders!! 👋✌️
Great info! Thanks, I am in the market for a 75 now. This makes me comfortable knowing it’s the right decision. Have a South American Cichlid tank. Upgrading from 30 galllon
I currently have a 75g freshwater tank, it houses one Lutino Oscar. I may add a Leopard Pleco not sure yet. However this current 75g is great, I have way more space and options over my old 29g. Keep up the great work on the fish room and beard
My favorite aquarium size at he moment is the 75. It gives you that big tank feel without being too much of a hassle, which is a boon for apartment life lol
Hey zenzo what is your fishkeeping bucket list? Any fish you have ALWAYS wanted to keep or maybe ones you want to keep again? That would be a cool video
Hi great video! BTW . I was wondering which aquarium would you recomend. A basic 1000liter monster fish tank or a 500 liter super high tech planted tank with bluetooth connection? I can only get one🤔
Great timing for this video; im upgrading my 55 to a 90 this weekend and am wondering if one 200watt heater will do the trick? Iv got a 2nd 200watt as well; if i use both, should i dial the temp down on both? Thx Zenzo! 💜🤘🤘
I used to have a 55 gallon tank but have been out of the hobby for over 15 years, I would like to start up again with the 40Breeder tank you mentioned. Could you help me with a good setup with a filter and heater and lights. I would like to do everything right from the beginning so I don’t have to start upgrading after buying wrong equipment.I want to do a fresh water with african cichlids. I don’t need the best equipment just quality thats easy to use, thanks for the great videos!
I like to use sponge filters, which may not be popular with everyone. I also like the Aqua Clear hang on back filters. If I were to run a powered filter on a 40 gallon cichlid tank, I’d probably run an Aqua Clear 70 with an Aquarium Co-Op sponge pre filter: www.aquariumcoop.com/products/medium-pre-filter-sponge?_pos=1&_psq=pre&_ss=e&_v=1.0 As far as the lights, this is what I currently use: www.aquariumcoop.com/products/finnex-stingray-led-lights?variant=17546663428 I don’t run heaters in most of my tanks because I heat the room. I don’t have a recommendation at this time, but we are testing some and I may have a recommendation in the future. If you are going to have African cichlids in a 40 gallon tank, make sure to pick a smaller species. I’ve made a video on Africans in a 40 gallon.
I just ordered a 40 breeder, going to do a curbside pickup tomorrow! Pretty excited to upgrade from my 20 gallon! (20 gallon was/is my first tank) eventually I'd love to get a tank north of 100 and do some African cichlids!
My current aquariums. 33g Long with a red dragon flowerhorn 40 breeder with ten buck tooth tetras 75g with juvenile datnoid, red spotted Severums, and parrot fish. 125g with Dovii 75 gallon is by far my favorite tank. Although I do like them all in their own way.
I love your videos man! I currently have. 20 gallon with some tetras I've had it for 2 years now, i think I'm ready to upgrade for a 40B , can you please tell what kind of fish are the ones shown at minute 6:20 , they are pretty cool.
I have a 40 gallon breeder for my two ranchu goldfish and 2 weather loaches. They are all growing quite steadily, but even after almost a year they still have plenty of room to swim and hide. Eventually, I'll upgrade to a 75 gallon for them. But I love the 40 gallon!
@@nicolaypastore never had them and I do like the odd ball dimension tanks. Those would be great for some cool scapes and specific stocking ideas. I have four 10g odd ball dimension tanks that were custom made bhy someone locally. They are 36" long x 8" deep x 8" tall. I'm setting one up for my Elassoma gilberti group. The 40g breeder and 75g still, IMO, the best tanks in terms of volume and dimensions.
In the part of the world where I am, 50 gallons (36x18x18) and the standard 75 gallons are popular. I have a 90 gallon tank (48x24x18) and I personally appreciate the depth it gives.

If you have a strong light, either would be fine. Taller plants would also appreciate the depth of the 75. The 40 is shorter, so light can penetrate better.

The 500 liter planted tank may be more enjoyable long term. So many fish options.

My favorite aquarium size is the 40 breeder and 29 but I been wanting a 65 gallon since is the same dimensions as a 40b but taller.
What can be put in the 65 compared to 40 breeder? I want a 65 to.

33g Long with a red dragon flowerhorn
40 breeder with ten buck tooth tetras
75g with juvenile datnoid, red spotted Severums, and parrot fish.
125g with Dovii

I have a 33 long that isn’t set up yet.. but I’ve thought about doing a spotted Congo puffer with some black neons in it
the most aestically pleasing size

Those are peacock cichlids (African cichlids - Aulonocara). They really need to be in a 75 or larger.
I have a 40 breeder reef tank, love it! Great tank to start up with.
Hi Zenzo. Can I keep 4 discuss and grow them out in a usual 40 breeder considering the minimum 10gallon rule for discuss? BTW fan of Ur Channel.

how common is a 50 GAL standard tank 3 feet long by 18 inches wide by 19 inches tall ?
Thank you sir planning to buy new tank Shout out from philippines😘😘

Agree completely. For tanks under 100g, the 40g breeder and 75g are the best dimension wise by far.

So many options. Sponge filter, hang on back filter, canister filter, sump, box filter, etc. I’d choose a sponge or hang on back.
Hey boss, do you sell any black worms??
No.
Favorite tank is 40 breeder for sure. Bigger footprint and shallower for better plant growth. Lights are pricey!
I had a 36 gallon bow front then upgraded to a 75 gallon which feels huge!
My favorite tank right now has got to be my 14 gallon rimless cube with multifasciatus
I see those being good sizes and easy to change stock easily. For me they're a little bigger than I have space for (for now ;) )
I do 2 electric blue Acara and a bunch of corydoras with some driftwood in in my 40b
I love my 180 gal. I always have room for more fish. I kind of wish it was a foot longer through.
Wow different look like it!😎
75 gallon tanks all day, I have 5, by far my favorite,
My #2 for a long time was 40 long but I am transitioning to the largest tanks possible.
My favorite tanks are the 20 and 20 long, once I get moved into a house I'll definitely get some big tanks
Who's this guy and what did you do with Zenzo? 🤣 jk jk Great Video man! 33 long and 75 gallon for me 👌🏻
33 is a fun size too.
I have a solo Oscar in a 75 he's about 11-12 in. I have a gold gourami and 5 black skirt tetras in a 40b.
I have a 30 gallon tetra tank in my sons room , a 75 gallon mbuna tank and a 125 central & South American cichlid tank
Looks like someone is growing an aquarium beard. Nice.
My favorite tank size is 6 ft x 2ft x 2ft,. It currently I only hv a 4 ft x 18" x 18" & 2.5ft x 1.5" x 1.5"
Nice aquarium
You hit it on the head 40 75 90 gallon aquariums are faves
Can I put a 75 gallons upstairs?
If your house is well built, yes. If your house is old, or not well built, no. The floor near the outside structure is usually the safest place.
I have to agree with you Zenzo I do like 40 breeders
My favorite is my 2 125 gallon aquarium and my 38 gallon bow front.
I wish I could get a 40 gallon, just too heavy. I would have to get help to move it. Maybe after this virus goes away. 😊😊😊
Couldn't agree with you more.
Wow you guys all have gigantic tanks. Mine is only 15 gallon...
75 is my favorite too.
40 breeder in my opinion is the perfect tank size for most situations.
