- In this episode I'm down in the remote area of the western Pamlico Sound. This is an exploratory Spring mission and fortunately I find some hard fighting fish. Unfortunately I get myself in a bind as you'll see in the video.

Always impressed by the way u can throw together such a nonchalant yet epic video that doesn't have a bunch of bull jive in it without forgetting to give a short and simple shout out to your followers. Been watching for quite a few seasons now! You have helped me up my game in more ways than one! Halty Never fails to impress
Thanks for the support Austin!
Heck yeah man!! Good thing the boat didn’t drift down the creek lol.
Yeah buddy, close call!
Great video Bro! The old Johnson spoon did the job, glad the wind was on your side.
Thanks Buddy, me too!
Awesome video yeah anything can happen when your fishing
Thanks, that's for sure
The wind is your friend. Nice video as always.
🤙
i was rooting for you jedi master
Lol, the force was strong that day!
Me too, haha, and it even swung in a parked for you!
Bringing the A game on your video intro. Impressive!
Thank you
Great video! Always enjoy your content. And thanks for your advice in the past.
Thank you. Anytime
I’m glad you left the boat part in the video. You are correct, things like this happens and God said he didn’t want you swimming that March day. lol. Thank you for the video. Tar River is my home water. Great I ran across your videos God bless you and yours
Bless you brother!
Thank you. Tight lines. Do you ever use fly rods.
OK. That was some funny $hit!
I'm digging that intro scene of the drum and logo. Looks great. I would be keeping that board just for the memories. Glad it worked out. We've all had those special days and yes you got lucky (somebody looking out ). Thanks for continued quality content.
Thanks Crush, someone definitely looking out for me. I know where that board is, I'm gonna grab it next time I'm out.
Great video, thanks for sharing that beautiful day.
been there done that. i was working on a duck blind on shore i pulled the boat up on the bank didnt put the anchor out ,tide was rising. the next time i looked up the boat was 75 yards off shore. somebody came close enough to wave down and brought the boat back to me.
These are the things you can tell your grandkids about! Always an adventure on the water.
Well said
Great video again! Impressive catch and I love that area you are fishing. Glad you stayed dry brother.
Great video! Excellent day of fishing! I’m definitely jealous! I haven’t been able to make it down to the Pamlico this season, as I have been fishing the Morehead Port. The black drum and bluefish bite has been really good there!
If the wind will lay down a bit, I’m hoping to be down there next week. I was already worked up, but your vid has me completely jazzed up.
Thanks for showing the boat drifting. These are the stories we love / hate to tell, but it’s what makes it an adventure …. And memorable for sure! In addition to what folks have mentioned about the power pole…. Another tip, that I may have learned the hard way…. Leave your trolling motor down and take the remote with you (or use your phones trolling motor app, if you have it installed). Then, if needed and within range, you can get your boat back to shore.
The good Lord was watching out for ya
No doubt about it!
The Johnson minnow spoons is awesome lure for Reds. Who makes the Cajun Pepper?

Awesome video! How did you train your boat as a retriever?
Lol, she loves me😁
Had my anchor pull out on a clamming mission in Maine once in a 13ft tide ..It was pretty scary for a few minutes .. Thanks for the content keep it coming
It's definitely unnerving in that moment when you realize, this is potentially real bad.
New subscriber. Great so far. Where is a good place to put a boat in at Bath N.C.
The Quarter Deck Marina. Just at the base of second bridge in bath.
Especially when you have power poles on the back 😂
I know right
I've had that happen to me duck hunting on a very cold day. My hunting partner barely made it to the boat before getting too far out it would have blown all the way across the sound this was before cell phones and no one else hunting near us.
That's definitely scarier than mine.
hey Halty Salty! I just hit 500 subscribers.
That's Awesome!
