Can I ask why the switch from baitcaster to spinner? That is such a beautiful area. I'd move there in a minute if I could. Tons of fishing up there. Nice video - thanks.

Sure. I ended up with a backlash that I didn't feel like dealing with since my day was almost over. I just grabbed another rod that I already had rigged and ready to go with another Skitter Walk. Glad you enjoyed. Check out our other videos and be on the lookout for more to come.

Last Cast Fishing I been fishing those waters since 1990, and have never caught anything bigger than my hand. Maybe I don't know where to go or what to use

Shane, that particular morning was all top water Rapala Skitter Walk. I fished several other lures, including jigs with soft plastics, but only managed to hook up with the Skitter Walk. It's all in what the fish want. Match the hatch and don't be afraid to switch lures often. Follow a top water with a soft plastic and vary your colors. Sometimes a simple color change is all it takes for a nice limit. Tight lines and thanks for watching. Be sure to check out our other videos with more to come.
