This is probably one of my favorite Nirvana songs. So many people who only know Smells like Teen Spirit/Come As Your Are/Heart Shaped Box will never discover this masterpiece.
I wish he could've seen what we saw. A thing of absolute amazement... so fucking talented, and beyond beautiful!! I hate heroin; it has robbed me of my own life and that of my heroes... Layne Staley and Kurt Cobain RIP
Peppino Dicorrado Sister it is! ....and yes he was achingly beautiful, incredibly humble, extremely honest, and far 2 naive... i think that cockroach CUNTney Love just used him and took complete advantage of Kurt's naivete!! She broke him as a man: his heart and soul. She is y he gave up on living. He could've beat the heroin... if he didn't die from overdosing 1 of those times. One of my favorite songs by Nirvana. The video pictures is a nice added bonus. Together viewing, makes one really reflect on and appreciate the powerful talent that was this band. All members played a part and together the fusion was unstoppable and memorable. Kurt's lyrics (of course) were top-knotch&clever but Dave's ominous drumming& Krist's chilling bass work provides a grim ambiance to this well-crafted song. Heartfelt vocals. Definitely representative of the times (grunge days). RIP. A+!
I remember this being one the choice songs to hear when back in HS. especially late at night walking and its cold, theres ice and snow everywhere. Back then you were forced to listen to a whole tape and become familiar with all the songs as two batches of goodies of SIDE A and SIDE B. This was on bleach or insecticide. Awesome. The way he sings its like he was a truly tormented soul
one of my favorite songs, but every time i listen to it i feel so sad even knowing the lyrics are not about sadness or something, is that voice my god, i want this song for my funeral..
@@lifestraight I'm not longer that overly depressed kid since I've found Christ but this song is still the best nirvana song since I believe this is how Kurt really felt with his life.

SpoonVTECpower same situation for many early nirvana songs. he maybe thought these long-sprawling "ballads" of his werent suited to a live performance (like swap meet, mrs buttersworth, misery loves company etc)
Likely because it kind of rips off Sister Europe by The Psychedelic Furs. No point in getting sued (like they did by Killing Joke for Come As You Are sounding like their song "Eighties".)
Great song. Incesticide got me through rehab! It was the only album I had left at the time. No stereo's allowed despite mine having no speakers. I was climbing the walls. But on the 2nd night I convinced em to let me have it with my old style headphones only. It was a big, long climb in the endless now? But full blast, the noise managed to drown out my screaming mind! 🧗♂️
