Me too… when ever a new Disney movie came out my parents would take my brother, my sister, and I to McDonald’s so we can get Happy Meals before going to the movies
I threw my sister a baby shower that was Disney movie themed. We went to so many thrift stores looking for old VHS Disney movies and toys. I ended up with a couple of the 100 year McDonald toys from the Jungle Book. I always wondered why they had that annoying 'golden' base lol. All the toys were 'donated' to my nephew. Loved this video!
"... it lands on a kid that believes in magic, Jesus and French fries!" (ROFL) 😂 Oh, Disney Dan! I really needed a good laugh today and you gave it to me! Thanks so much and May the fourth be with you! 🛸
At our local thrift shop, there used to be TONS of old Disney happy meal toys, especially the Hunchback of Notre Dame but I haven’t seen them in a while haha 😂 can’t wait to watch the video!!❤️😁 Edit: OMG!!!!!! I’m obsessed with the plush stuffed animals! Edit 2: ok so I was talking about the Hunchback of Notre Dame toys before and I think they might have been from the 100 toys for 100 yrs collection :)
This was so nostalgic it hurts (I had so many of these toys until a few years ago when our basement flooded 😞)! But “magic, Jesus, and French fries” made me a believer!!
Waiting for evolution of Huey Duey and Louie, evolution of Webby Vanderquack, the Gummy Bears and other Disney characters who aren't at Disney parks anymore, evolution of Mushu, etc. 🎡🎢🎢📸🎠🎠🎠🏰
Never had any of the Disney Park toys or glasses. The only McDonald’s Disney item I still have is the set of plush Christmas ornaments of Cinderella’s Jaq and Gus mice from 1987.
The Disney drinking glasses from McDonalds were a BIG thing at my dad’s house. He had a couple of movie promotion ones but I don’t remember which. I think they finally all died about 5 years ago.
Disney happy meal toys need to make a huge comeback. Here in Scotland & the rest of the UK we had a few Disneyland Paris happy meal toys come out for the parks anniversaries that included the "dismembered Mickey set" with a creepy looking Mickey Mouse mask along with his gloves & a hat with his ears & Disneyland Paris on it. The best DLP collection we got was a set of character figures with a stamp on the bottom and the bases clicked together for the 2000/millenium celebration. There were tons of characters for that set so nobody could ever collect them all.
Thanks for informing me about the 25th birthday celebration glass cups that were available from McDonald's because I have the Epcot version for many years and I really thought my parents got it from Disney World for many years.
I do remember owning the Splash Mountain and Lion King Happy Meal toys from the 1995 40th Disneyland Adventure set while en route to my grandparents' house in Gadsden years ago. I don't own them anymore, but the memory of those toys will always be cherished for years to come.
I had that Minnie figure in the white dress and red bow! Dang if only I knew about the promotion behind it, but that was before I was a Disney nerd. I do remember really loving that toy as a kid though!
I had the Minnie , Mickey and Tinker bell from the last line made before the falling out. I also played with the Mexican Donald a lot at my grandma’s house.
Seeing that gorilla toy with the baby gorilla just unlocked a bunch of childhood memories I'd forgotten about. I really liked that toy for some reason.
Man, I have these small Lady and the Tramp 2 plushies, and I can't remember for the love of me if they are from McDonalds or Quick... I also have a Billy the Cat plushie from Quick that I got when I was a small kid (it was my first happy-meal-equivalent toy in my life), and I carry it every single time I travel. I never leave him, no matter how far I go.
I know we had some of the Epcot 94 toys and some of the glass cups. not sure where any of them are. I was more into the movie tie-in toys, though I'm not sure where those are either. my *favorite* part of the Disney/McDonalds partnership was the fry stand they had right by the exit of Big Thunder at Disneyland. Big Thunder is my favorite ride and I LOVE McDonalds fries so it was a match made in heaven. I was *DEVISTATED* when they got rid of it lol
There were a handful of Burger King kids meal stuffs too for the parks. Like Disneyland 20th Anniversary parade float windup and in honor of the opening of Toontown, the town residents in different vehicles
I had the a 2002 100 hundred year of magic, two haunted Mansion, pretty much all the Country Bears and Mickey and Minnie figures with the cards in the stand
I have so many of those happy meal disney toys. My favorite was later down the road with the Disney Masterpiece collections where the toy came in the VHS style box. Or even when the grown up meals were decorated in disney boxes. Never knew about the canadian dale (and I'm from Canada). Yes please more videos of disney mcdonalds happy meal toys!
I have Simba and Thumper from the 100 years of magic toys, that my parents had gotten, and I must say that I cannot get the dust off of them for the life of me. They are like a dust magnet. Also got a few from the most recent promotion. Cool thing about them is that they have the attraction logo on the bottom of the toy. I had gotten the Mickey and Minnie’s runaway Railway Train, Mission Space, Dinosaur, Jungle Cruise, Expedition Everest, and Mad Tea Party.
I remember the 100 set. I remember going to the McDonald's in the back of Walmart and getting one. And for a while my cousin had some on her vanity when we were tweens
I had a few from the 2005 collection (the fiftieth anniversary one I think) i recognize the mickey, Minnie, tinkerbell and goofy ones, but I doubt I have them anymore
14:45 WAIT ARE YOU KIDDING ME I HAD A HOLOGRAPHIC CARD ON MY TINKERBELL ONE AND I NEVER THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT IT. Obviously back then the rules weren’t known that well I guess... Where’s my disney trip!? 🤣 We were just like “Cool guess we got a rare card.” And moved on.
I wonder if anyone else has the memory of dancing on top of a huge 25 anniversary birthday cake with Mickey and Minnie Mouse? I was 5 at the time. It was a lot of fun and a cool memory to look back on. Does anyone else remember doing that? I have pictures to prove it! Lol
I require no pardons, for I'm afraid I'm going to have to Acutally something- "Petrifries" is a play on word Petrify, to allude to how dinosaur fossils are in fact stones molded into the SHAPE of the original bones. (That or the person writing out "Pterafries" had the spelling and grammer skills of a confused gibbon. Appropriate, given the park.) EDIT: "That's their natural environment" killed me instantly
the 100 toys collection. I think I had the Steamboat Willie Mickey on my shelf for a long time, but I don't think I've kept it at this point. I recognize the bases on the other ones. I had some of the Country Bears too!
I'm going to say it straight up Dan, The Brer toys for the 100 years of magic say "1946", meaning that it's stating their origin Song of the South. SO while yes they ARE Splash Mountain characters, the same could be said for ANY of the characters in this list that have attractions at Disney.
Would love to see reviews of the toys related to movie releases. I remember Tarzan toys that connected together, wind up Bugs Life figures, and don't forget the 101 Dalmatians toys that made sound when you clapped! Specific toys I wish I had but never got were the Atlantis light up necklace and a squishy bath toy Morph for Treasure Planet.
I know it wasn’t McDonalds but my favorite promo was the Mickeys ToonTown Promotion done by Burger King for its opening in 1993; they gave away maps of the new land with every one of the toys and they had a great selection like the Jolly Trolly and Donald’s Boat; it was pretty epic :)
I have the Animal Kingdom ones: zebra, elephant, lion, rino, alligator, and possibly the Dragon. And the view finders: The Lion King and Aladdin, and I think Mickey too.
i don't get why hate epcot. like, sure there's a lot of walking but it's a great way to find characters (just gotta go to their country of origin),there is lot's of neat culture stuff there and figment.

Oh I had some of the 100 year celebration toys and my mom got the cups, and I had a few of the disneyland with the viewfinder. I just helped my mom clean out my old boxes at her house and we gave them all to the second hand store or threw away the ones that were broken my puppy loved to eat my 100 year toys
That dragon has me convinced Figment and Spyro are related.
Opening the toys stressed me out... then I saw they sale for like $13
Omg yeah
They’re long lost brothers lol
I cosplay as figment and pretty much anyone thought I was Spyro
Figment doesn’t have any biological relatives because he was created by The Dreamfinder (or Channing depending on the lore you believe)

Salt and grease 💕
I've made it a personal goal to collect a lot of these old happy meal toys, wish me luck!
I love it when Dan gets high as balls and talks about happy meal toys. So educational.
No one ever talks about the Disney CDs you could buy at McDondals. We didn’t eat there unless we were at the mall, and we got all but one of the CDs
I still have mine! Buddy Songs, Villain Songs, and Hero Songs.
We had the kidz bop ones....
Oh man, I had forgotten those!! I bet I still have them somewhere
Dan talk for 5 seconds.........
Dan laughs for 15 seconds

Ah yes, the holy trinity;
Magic, Jesus, French fries
I’m kinda high right now and read Jesus fries
Thanks that helped me with my religious study’s homework
WAIT I HAD THAT MOROCCO DALE GROWING UP AND I HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS FROM. thank you so much for this omg
i drink out of my mcdonald’s 100 years of magic glasses almost every day, the magic kingdom one is my favorite 😆
I only have the Epcot one anymore, but it is one of my treasures. That and my McDonald's Garfield mug.
I love getting a happy meal around the time a disney movie comes out
Me too… when ever a new Disney movie came out my parents would take my brother, my sister, and I to McDonald’s so we can get Happy Meals before going to the movies
His laughing and wheezing brings me such joy. :)
Dan breaking out into laughter is honestly the biggest highlight of his videos. It’s also very contagious
Yea, reminds me of my dad, its a very _dad_ laugh

THE NOSTALGIA! I'm pretty sure I had at least one toy from each set mentioned from the 90's and early 2000's.

Epcot was where I met Minnie, so my childhood experience of that area was above average. I got 🍀. Excellent video! Thank you.
Talk about a blast from the past, I had so many of these! Magic, Jesus and French Fries took me out 😂
When I saw the new video in the Canada pavilion at Epcot, I left crying 😭 because of how it reminded me of how much I missed visiting Canada.
