6 Black women explain how they’re creating TV shows without Hollywood’s help

I interviewed six Black women who have created TV shows, Leigh Davenport, Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Tracy Oliver, Janine Sherman Barrois, Robin Thede and Lena Waithe, about how they got their shows to air despite Hollywood’s gatekeeping.
