What a great video! I love lava tubes, old mines and caves. I especially liked where you showed you from a distance and I could see how large the cave is. Was a little unnerving when you were not sure of the way out, but I knew that you must have survived as you posted this video! As far as people leaving their names, I call those locations "Moron registers". A place where local and guest morons self register so the rest of us can know who the local morons are, not that we need or care to know.
Thanks! It was a fun adventure in there. Someday I’ll make it to the end. It was quite a bit larger than I had thought it would be and having side tunnels to explore was a nice bonus. I kinda figured when I took one that I would get turned around a bit on the way back. “Moron registers” I like that, very fitting. I was looking at some cave videos in another state and they were covered in multiple layers of graffiti, I’m glad ours aren’t that poor treated. I can see why the caving communities are so secretive about locations.
@@easycamperdandog Yup exactly, though I do appreciate all the nice drone shots from people that like to show off a spot I might want to investigate 😂.
@@jakemcclellan8399 Thanks. I’ve always liked exploring caves. A lot of trails have seen hundreds or 10s of thousands of people but caves are much less traveled so feels a bit more unique of an experience.
Quite amazing! Not sure if I'd be a brave one to explore this alone.
@@wendingourway Thanks. Definitely have to be comfortable being isolated and know when to turn back on solo cave adventures.
