For those who don't understand what's going on...Ukraine's current government doesn't care about it's people and they want as much confrontation and escalation as possible to get the west involved in the conflict. They are forcing as much as they can to provoke Russia to attack with nukes. Russia, who has an intress of reintegrating territories and people back in its sphere of influence, is for now able to hold back. about 50% of Ukraines population has either left the country already and probably 1 Mio soldiers died on ukranian side. That's why the Ukranian government is trying to escalate the situation, because time is running out for them.
Yep, and why the government doesn't care and executes foreign orders is directly connected with the coup of 2014. Somehow the western media calling these coups a democracy 🐒

England and the USA are doing this using Ukraine. Ukraine does not decide anything on its own. There is no need to blame all the blame on Ukraine. Only England and the USA can stay on the islands if thunder strikes. They are used to fighting with "Gold" and making money from the war.
The west is willing to meddle in a conflict when it's Russia for a lot of reasons. Ukraine is just a proxy for the US/Ukraine is a willing country to be taken advantage of by the USA-Ukraine is rich in Earth minerals and metals. So of course the USA including Europe would be interested.
Why do they keep showing us this building at 7:34? It's like they want us to believe that 36 mach 10 missiles can damage the roof? Or what? Why are you showing us this stupid roof? Show us the 20-foot-deep hole in the ground that Oreshnik made. But you wouldn't, of course. Because it would be too scary to show... So, you show the roof. Stupidity at its best.
The hole would be a lot deeper than 20 feet, try 80+ feet. Maybe over the 100 foot mark as there are comments a system like this can do in bunkers 200 meters down.
I agree. We got satellite photos days after Israel supposedly hit Iran's facilities, but we can't see the crater that should have been left by this missile strike?
It is incorrect to say that this Oreshnik cannot target the US. If these are based in the Russian region of Chukotka, as these are all mobile missile launchers, the entire US is within strike distance
A lot of people forget that the United States has direct borders with 3 countries: Mexico, Canada and Russia. These countries have direct border, meaning there are no international waters between them, which is at least 12 miles offshore.
@@tiverton You are talking about the Diomede Island in the Bering Strait. They are 4km apart and are separated by the Russia USA boundry. However there is NO contiguous border between Russia and the USA, contiguous border like the USA has with Mexico and Canada. Of course these new missiles would be able to strike Alaska from the east of Russia, but generally speaking when talking about hitting the USA with weapons, they are talking about the contiguous USA, meaning the 48 states not including Hawaii or Alaska.
@brianbelchior7329 I was talking about that border. Yes, there're russian and american troops staring at each other at that location, making it a shared border between the two countries. well we know it was kinetic, we know it was 6 subwar heads per 6 initial warheads. We know the military base was turned to dust we know it was travelling at minimum Mach 10 We know KE=0.5*mv^2, we also know every force has an equal and opposite force we know the 36 war heads hit at around 200m below the surface (according to leaked unconfirmed sources) if we knew the weight of the warheads when impact, we could calculate the energy stored in the war head using e=mc2 and then apply that energy expelled upwards from say 200m below ground, know the density of 1970's Soviet concrete and building of that era, we can get a decent snapshot of the destructive power. early estimates are that it had the same explosive power as the Hiroshima bomb. Putin has noted in statements, hypersonic missile cannot be intercepted, because of their speed current radar systems, including TAAHD, can't lock on to them. That is confirmed by many munitions experts in the US. That's part of what makes them a game changer and the US has failed so far to develop this tech...
These are not hypersonic missles. They are ballistic missles that go out of orbit and red enter at supersonic speeds. The space shuttle used to enter our atmosphere at mach 25. Putin is casually saying the space shuttle was a hypersonic shuttle. The THAAD ontercrpts missles in space before they gain their maximum speed. The patriot system intercepted multiple Khinzal missles.

Russia no longer has to use nuclear , Conventional is enough for it , A technological revolution/ marvel comparable with the satellite invention, makes Americas best ATCAMS etc to become Primative
What was revolutionary about Oreshnik? It's an IRBM, which are all pretty much hypersonic. Mach 10 it's even that fast by today's IRBM standards. MIRV's have been around almost as long as the IRBM. It's mobility isn't unique. It is new I guess but based on older designs so... I'm not in the Russian military but as far as I can see it doesn't bring any new capabilities to the table that Russia hasn't had since the Soviet Union days. Maybe it will be reliable? I'm sure it must use the latest and greatest guidance systems but beyond that I am stumped on its revolutionary capabilities.
@@drivejapan6293 It’s revolutionary in the fact that it left its launch vehicle without blowing up! Unlike the test launch of the RS28 Sarmat that blew up on September 21st, before it cleared the silo, leaving a 60 meter wide hole!

@@drivejapan6293 It's not just not new technology, it's technology everyone has. (or could have and choose not to) It's just a rocket loaded with a MIRV war head. The speed doesn't matter, the accuracy doesn't matter. It's a device we (humanity) agreed not to use, because using it would destroy all of us. Putin didn't showcase new technology, he showcased a new willingness to destroy humanity, including Russia itself. It's crazy to me that Russians do not know about mutual assured destruction and ICBMs. This shit was established like 60 years ago, and now Russians celebrate breaking a international treaty, put in place to protect humanity from nuclear annihilation. This is a new level, Russia truly has to be stopped, no matter what it costs. I don't think Putin understands what he did. He opened a door to destruction we agreed to keep closed. This was either a national suicide, or it was a global genocide. Those are the two options.
The video clearly shows that warheads launched by one missile attack from different sides. These blocks maneuver at hypersonic speed and THAAD and SM-3 will not be able to intercept them. Never!
@@qinarizonaful It is not only 3 times slower than the "Oreshnik" or "Kinzhal". The plasma in which these missiles fly absorbs radio waves and makes them invisible to the radar homing head. SM-6: Maximum speed 3.5 Mach (2664.2 mph; 4287.7 km/h; 1.2 km/s)
Someone doesn't understand that 'intercept' doesn't mean 'chase after'. Hypersonic missiles can be intercepted just fine as long as they don't maneuver, their speed isn't an issue at all. And maneuverable hypersonic missiles do not exist as no country in the world can cheat on the limitations of physics. Material sciences simply are nowhere near advanced enough yet.
These sort of ICBMs are not new. They are 40 year old technology. USA and Russia agreed to not use ICBMs in war, because they are too powerful, and both sides posses the ability to completely destroy each other with them. This was not a display of technology. The ability to completely destroy a building, or a country, or the planet, was already established 60 years ago when the nuclear bombs and the ICBMs were invented. This was a display of Russias willingness to risk humanity. Putin repeatedly threatened to use nuclear weapons. This is just another step into that direction. The funny thing is, it's ultimately meaningless. It does not create a strategically advantage, because it has always been possible to use ICBMs you can't defend against for all sides. The world has lived in fear of nuclear annihilation for many decades now, and nobody believes Putin is insane enough to actually do it. The situation has not changed. What this use of ICBMs truly shows, is that Russia isn't doing too well. The war and it's progress are so devastating and embarrassing to putin, that he is willing to remind the world that he CAN destroy us all, the entirety of humanity, including himself. Why would he do this? He hopes it scares the west. What is the proper response? To not be scared. You can't let a mad man dictator blackmail humanity by threatening nuclear annihilation. It didn't work 60 years ago, and it won't work now. If Russia is truly going to use further ICBMs like this, it can expect full opposition, and not just from the west. Do you think China likes to be threatened? Do you think India likes to be threatened? This was a huge mistake, and Putins allies might actually turn against him. Putin isn't showing his strengwhere, he is showing that he has completely lost his mind. So be it, send your ICBMs. See how humanity will answer that.
Well, it's not like anyone care. EVERYONE on the west JUST KNOW that crazy raving madman lunatic Putin is absolutely predictable and reasonable man that is too sane to start WWIII
When you can shoot down satellites and ballistic missiles doing mach 20,i dont think so All depending on what stage the ballistic missile is in,launch, midcourse or terminal stage.
I see a lot of hope and discussions about the THAAD system. I want to reassure you, THAAD will not be able to shoot down Oreshnik. And the reason is not entirely in the hypersonic speed. Oreshnik does not fly in an arc along a ballistic trajectory, it remains in the upper layers of the atmosphere at an altitude of 40-50 km (this is very approximate, there is no exact data). At this altitude, there is not enough air to create a braking effect for the missile, but enough to form plasma. Plasma has a remarkable effect - it absorbs radio waves. In summary: along the entire flight path, Oreshnik is invisible to radars
есть калькулятор Ускорений свободного падения (и других показателей), там выдаёт, что Апогей Орешника находился на высоте 280-320 км, чтобы набрать заданную скорость, и заданную кинетическую энергию. For the particularly gifted, I will explain. A rocket with kinetic force penetrated 11 underground levels of the plant, and explosions thundered on the minus 11th floor. The upper buildings are not of interest. It was an orbital kinetic impact. This is the first kinetic weapon. And Putin hinted that we have something else interesting.
Whether the warheads contained explosives is still open to debate, as the kinetic energy of the warheads would be greater than any conventional explosive. There is reason to believe that this particular facility was targeted, is because the bunkers underneath were possibly housing the 150 storm shadow missiles provided by the UK.

So, you’ve been caught in one lie so far. As far as demonstrating that little display from that 2010-era ‘oreshnik’ IRBM, it wasn’t putin’s “restraint” that resulted in the night launch. It was the fact that you cannot see the MIRVs that well during the day. The nighttime launch and low cloud cover over Dnipro city that day produced an ideal setting for the missile’s actions to be shown. It was impressive looking, for sure - but we have all already seen this capability in various US missiles for decades. So, because you’ve lied so much in your post, Ivan - I have to report you for misinformation. I hope others do too. Trump pulling the US out of the INF treaty was a critically important and beneficial move. Powerful message to Russia, China and North Korea. Well done.
That 'powerful message' being: the global arms race is back on, without constraints. Let's waste billions on arming ourselves to the teeth, instead of investing in infrastructure beneficial to our respective populations, further enrich the arms manufacturers, provide cheap thrills for keyboard warriors everywhere, and accelerate the chances of ruinous conflict.

BTW the development of this missile may have been what caused Trump to pull out of the Treaty in the first place I.e. it was Putin who started up development then.

Wow, “cope” is even in your name! How convenient. First off, you russians always like to lie about NATO troops being in Ukraine. So far, there have been exactly 0 NATO troops in Ukraine.
We have to call you propagandists out every single time, to stop our friends here in the US, UK, etc from believing the crap you type, and we do. 😊
@@joshicune That was the only reason this old missile was tested at night - it had nothing to do with putin’s “restraint”. It was more dramatic at night, and the cloud cover made it look even more eerie than normal.
But it missed the target by quite a ways. The Yuzhmash factory did not have any damage… but a residential area to the north did. The “oreshnik” missed its target by a little over a mile. That is why this thing will never be used in conventional warfare. And I think we all know that putin is not suicidal, so he will never deploy a nuclear weapon because he knows that will be the end of him.
The new Russian weapon proves that Russia is capable of destroying underground bases without resorting to nuclear weapons. Only experts realize the real power.

However kinetic bombs are more flexible than nuclear bombs. Less cost, more safe ( in case of accident during testing, launch etc...) easier to move. Once orbital bombardment stations are put in space its a matter of only KE=0.5*mv^2 on the amount of kinetic damage you want to do.
