I am always craving nail polish more in fall. Thanks for covering this time of year when I am starting to want to wear more polish. I would love if you did an updated Fall favorites video... and then a winter favorites later on this year!
You're not the only one who wears red, but I have right now. I'll be wearing Essie's Gel Couture Caviar Bar the first week of September as the fall rolls around.
I feel like August/september is a good time to start getting into the slightly deeper reds, but I have gotten some inspo from your picks for sure! In my mind I have these polishes lined up for the next several manis! - opi como se llama - Essie boatloads of love - opi that’s hula-rious - Essie first kiss bliss - random gel polish in a caramel-y color - modelones gel polish in a taupe color
Love seeing any & all of your "favorite" polishes as you have such good taste! 😊 Also really love the DND polish videos you share as they have such beautiful shades at affordable prices. Course always love seeing Morgan Taylor & Orly too but DND is becoming one of my fav brands. Thanks Laurie for all the videos! ~Ginger ❤
Love this! So many good ideas. I couldn't believe Essie Transition Piece wasn't in there. But I like the idea of Funny Bunny and Arctic Jelly for fall. Thanks!
This time of year I love Essie Smokin' Hot and Frock and Roll (very similar) and Barielle Glammed Out Garnet. I wish I could still get this one!! And the new Essie Everything's Cake is one of my new favorites!
I love to see what everyone chooses as their transitional polishes at this time of year. Each year it's something different. I never really crave the same thing each August, it's always either dusty muted colors or more washed out toned down shades. Possibly something I didn't get enough of during the summer? Like one year I just craved shimmery purples, and it was almost a whole entire month of them. Then there are the yearning to wear neutrals. And this year is one of those neutral years. I have beautiful creams, some jelly-ish grays and a few shimmering soft taupes and muted blush pinks (I like silver and gold shimmer in my neutrals going into fall). I picked OPI Rice Rice Baby too. It's a great winter going into spring, summer transition to fall pink cream. I also like some of the sheer Orly Breathable shades that aren't too heavy or fallish yet, like The Spice Is Right and Aloe, Goodbye!
Interesting choices! Some of them give me more winter-to-spring-vibes like the minty ones or grey ones I tend to wear shades like these around febuary, march, april... For me personally my favourite summer-to-fall transition shades are the warm shades like mustard yellow, ochre, orange, rosy dusty pinks, warm nudes, warm reds, light browns...💛🧡❤️🤎 they are perfect for me for the last warm sunny summer days and also when the leaves slowly start changing colours 🍁🍂🌻 I love this time of the year... 🥰
Great video Laurie! I love all your favourite videos! this one is really helpful for the in between seasons! It is amazing how many Spring polishes fit in for Autumn! Thanks for sharing xx
This was such a good and helpful video.! I loved it. Thank you. So excited for the shift from bright colors and I am craving a lot of these. Especially the browns and greens.
Great transitional polish video! I so often forget the browns that I like and there are so many beautiful shades of blue going into the fall too. Just got back from my last little vacay of the summer, so now I can think about all things fall!
Yay, thank you Laurie 🙌 . I absolutely loved ‘Cost Me A Mint’ ……. so beautiful 😍. May try and pick that one up for the Spring. Transitioning from Sumer to Autumn is probably the trickiest time for me to pick colours. I’m definitely leaning towards the dustier shades though. I particularly liked ‘ Rice Rice Baby’.
I own thirteen of the polishes you mentioned! My capsule collection for early fall includes: Essie Mind-full Meditation & Bon-boyage; China Glaze Lavenduh!; and OPI I São Paulo Over There & Check Out the Old Geysers.
I love brown polish too! I usually save them for November but maybe I’ll pull a few out in September this year. September is usually nudes and wine shades for me.
nothing is more beautiful, imo, than a perfect, glossy red mani!! i love dutch tulips, revlon raven red (one of revlons earliest shades) , opi thrill of brazil, essie cherry on top, essie be cherry, and believe it or not my favorite is wet n wild wildshine red red (but i pour it into an empty polish bottle w wide brush ordered from amazon)...
i love yellow- but i have to get them closer to greenish - i had one i loved, but it looked like i stuck my finger in deviled eggs lol!! olive skin issues...
I ask Siri to give me a number between 1 and however many nail polishes are left in my collection, and that number is the one I wear. They are all in rows on shelves. As I wear them, they move to the back and my total count goes down. It’s fun and takes the “stress” of having to choose a color away. 😂
@@nicolec6586 Yes! It’s also a way to use all your neglected polishes and appreciate them again. It’s fun to not be so seasonally appropriate all the time, too.

@@GoPolished Thank you so much! Loved every minute of it
i love getting a few new polishes in the mail- it is like Christmas, and an inexpensive treat!!
Yes it is 😊
Nail mail is the best mail! 😀
I've been wearing Fall colors and reds all Summer. If you want a great red, Londontown Lakur has some excellent choices and their brush is perfect.
You're not the only one who wears red, but I have right now. I'll be wearing Essie's Gel Couture Caviar Bar the first week of September as the fall rolls around.
i have to check out their reds!
I will have to check out their reds! Thanks Jane!

I know! I always forget some. I should have added that one!
helpful and perfect, yes! wish I needed polish, that is the hard part, I want them all
I know! It's hard to not want them all! haha
Your seasonal transition videos are my absolute fave. I’m still trying to get in some gorgeous summer shades but will move to muted shades soon!
Oh good! I am glad you love them. You still have some time I feel like everyone is always rushing us on fall! haha
@@GoPolished I know!! Fall is my favorite season but I’m not done with my summer brights yet! 😁

Yes it all depends on mood. I think that's why I didn't add a lot of purples like I typically do because I just wasn't craving them like I usually do.
Love the greens. 💚 Do you have purple Autumn favorites? 💜🍁
I just filmed my favorite fall polishes and there a several purples in there. It should be up soon 💜
One of my favorite browns is Essie’s Mink Muffs. I wear that pretty early fall. I also like OPI Nail Strong Give a Garnet. I go right for the reds.
Those are both great colors!

@@GoPolished sure did- our first cruise(!) and I wore Orly’s Morning Dew on my toes…loved! 🩵

That's a great suggestion!

I like to wear them as it gets darker and colder too! Wine shades are so good for fall!

Wahoo! Go team brown!
Perfect timing - thank you! Could you post the link to the sweater you’re wearing?
Thanks for pointing that out! I forget sometimes. I will add it!

My pattern is pink. For fall it's nudes and sheers.
Love that!

Oh no haha
Is there a new version of Essie Inside Scoop? The one I received from your Amazon link is much pinker sadly 😢
Oh no! I hope not. I love that shade and want another bottle!
Hi can u recommend a polish for my sons wedding my dress is dark green. Fall wedding in October thanks
I always like neutrals for a wedding! Or maybe a taupe purple?
Do you have Zoya Jordan could you compare some closest to that shade?
I don't have that polish, sorry!

Why TH-cam deleted my comment for the second time? It's frustrating. I loved the cool toned blue's and the pink's though.
