According to IMDB. My Tutor (5.2 out of 10) is better than Getting It On (3.7 out of 10).

This movie is SO 80’s, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ronald Regan and Alf did Cocaine off a Back to the Future VHS while a watching a Michael Jackson music video on MTV in this movie lol

Getting It On feels like a Harvey Weinstein biopic that tried to paint his rapes as heroic actions.

And today, my 75 yr. old mother in law watches every episode of "Blue Bloods."

My uncle is actually Martin Yost the lead actor!! He’s told me about this movie soo much but he did when i was “definitely too young to watch it” and i just remembered about it!! He ended up getting cancer in his knee and had to give up acting unfortunately. He’s one of the funniest people i’ve ever met and i love smoking weed with him and hearing his stories about LA and NY.
Wish he had done more movies. Getting it On is one of my favorites.

Crispin Glover is a legitimate oddball, how he ever got started on film is beyond me, but I'm sure glad he did.

Both these movies played on broadcast TV uncut, Getting it On aired at 12:30 AM at least but there were no viewer discretion warnings. Getting it On is a personal favorite, I can take or leave My Tutor.

Recently saw My Tutor. Was surprised how good I thought it was. These early sleazy 80’s are sometimes really refreshing.

What an episode. I don't think I've ever heard of either these teen sex comedies. The first looks dated as hell, but in a sorta fun way, and the second one looks better made, and given the fact that "My Tutor" is Crispin Glover's film debut just upped its awesomeness.

There were never days where "porn was openly on the shelves". Its literally ALWAYS been either kept behind a counter, ALWAYS with a cardboard blocking everything but the title or you had to go to the curtained section of the video store which did nothing if you were a child. Porn is more openly available due to the internet than it ever was.

I now want to make a movie where the lead in an 80's teen sex comedy film gets transported to modern day and get cancelled immediately!
Why because he doesn't know how to function 2 clicks or less on the internet? I want to make a movie where all the people who cry about things being woke, things being "better back in the day" or "if this thing happened now, it would be cancelled" are collected up into rockets before being fired into the sun. So that the normal people left in society live normal lives where people don't constantly misremember things.
Its literally not a daunting tactic to hold a conversation with someone for more than 2 seconds before trying to whip it out and show it to someone. Maybe its because I know how to hold a conversation and actually judge situations, but i've never "mistouched" someone
