Good on ya for sharing your adventure with us! I'll be passing through Iceland in a few weeks and feel just a little more ready for my own. I think my August trip will probably be a bit more crowded, but, hey, at least the prices won't scare me. Cheers!
Out of doors what is the cell service like? Do the restaurants have wi-fi? How long before a typical American tourist would want to get on a plane and come back? I suppose a Seattle native would adapt pretty quickly though. Note to self: Get used to avocado toast with poached eggs.
I have an international phone plan and it seemed fine in most areas, but I mostly relied on the wifi that the rental car company gave me. I felt like 2 weeks was wayyy too long, and would probably just do the south coast and Landmannalaugar if I were to go back. Have a great trip! :)
The horrible food people are tasting is old time traditional foods that people don’t really eat. Older generations maybe a bit, and then there is the Þorri where SOME people eat it once out of tradition. But in general we eat normal food that is like the food in this video.
Great video. Thank you for sharing your journey.
i love the way you vlog. it just feels like hanging out with a friend 😁
Interesting but I did chuckle when you said the Fries were a little potatoey! 🙂
From an Australian perspective, these prices were on a par or cheaper than Perth prices. Great video. :)

This was really interesting. Most Icelandic food videos are how horrible the food is so I appreciated this point of view.
