I've now replaced the "Favorites" main menu image with a new one....hopefully this fits in better with a Raspberry Pi build. Thanks for all the feedback! github.com/dmmarti/es-theme-showcase/blob/master/auto-favorites/_inc/background.png
Thanks for the shout-out my friend! We'll keep pushing those boundaries man......with all of the new enhancements in Emulation Station, we're able to do so much more......I'm loving it!
David Marti You do awesome work dude! Im loving this theme the more and more i look at it! You guys all just need to stop already :P too many awesome themes to choose from!!!
Just wanted to say keep up the good work I find all your videos helpful. I built a bartop arcade and a lot of your videos have helped me out a lot. Thanks
I have a problem. Logo and video plays in the same centre square , and top right square shows only Game data. Any idea? What name of folders have you in your media folder? Me, i have four folders in media per emulator: marquee, wheel, image and video.
I love this theme "Showcase" but I'm having a lot of issues with it. It freezes up alot and it flickers turning the screen black as I slide to the check out the systems and it gives me glGetError 0x505 many times. Is there a fix for this?
Do you have any idea why when you reboot this theme it goes back to default carbon theme. And when its sitting, it will start moving through the menu itself.
I have an attract mode image and all the game covers, snaps and game videos are located within their respective rom folder. Can anyone advise where these need to be located so they appear within this (and I assume other) video enabled themes on ES?
I noticed after restarting system fixes the menus for example your last played was from other theme. Same thing happened to me and after I restarted it everything was fixed
Hey man just a question I have the new showcase I have it with the artwork how do I get it with the video snaps,, long-time subscriber if you can help me out that be awesome thank you very much man little pixel
Hi, I can confirm Brian vts' request. I have installed your (amazing) 128GB pack and see the arcade-bezels, but I have to chose only one for all games, however it should be possible to detect automatically the right bezel for each game. So as I don't know how it works, please feel free to show us how to proceed. Thanks !
The first theme is called "Showcase". You install it from within Emulation Station. Go to the RetroPie > ES Themes manager....and it'll be listed towards the bottom. You may need to run the RetroPie Update Script first ... then when you launch the ES Themes manager, you'll see the newer themes listed that are available for download. To get the three new additional systems, you may also have to update your RetroPie to the latest version. Madlittlepixel made a video about doing these exact steps ... maybe his Maximus Pie video? But check out a couple of his prior ones and he demo's doing these steps.
Rodric Lewis I feel ya, but I did tell ya the name of the theme in the video. Explained how to install, but next time ill show the steps. Ive shown the steps in each one of these videos, just got so excited in this one didnt do it.
Great video MLP... as always! BTW, that GBZ35 theme was made by some guy @ sudomod forum for 3,5inch TFT screens used in the Game Boy Zero builds. So it focuses in handhelds and a few other systems, i guess... Keep up that great work, dude! Greeting from the ass of the world (Chile)
Adding roms is pretty simple. Im sure I have a video that talks about it, but check out ETA Primes video, he has many that talk about adding roms... th-cam.com/video/LaVQYURWVEQ/w-d-xo.html
It's since been replaced with a new one......hopefully this will be better suited for a Pi build. github.com/dmmarti/es-theme-showcase/blob/master/auto-favorites/_inc/background.png

Dario Estay That makes sense. Seems pretty legit then for those builds.
I want a theme randomizer on boot.
Terrance Andersen haha that would be awesome!
Madlittlepixel I'd write it if I knew code. I should learn.
can you please build a rom packed 128gb image using this image and share it? thanks!
Those themes look great but i can't use them I need a 4:3 theme for working with my Sony trinitron 4;3 TV trough the pi2scart...
My Pi is nacked 😁
David's new theme is pretty sweet
Phill's Doodles It sure is. You theme masters just keep doing great work. Too much good stuff available.
I take that as you don't know what causing this problem or how to fix it.

I don't like the favorites screen should have done games that you can actually play on pi
It's since been replaced with a new one......hopefully this will be better suited for a Pi build.
