Good to see someone interested in old and traditional buildings and old days people life or anything vintage. Hope people can afford to preserve simple life and these old buildings. Great to hear in Cantonese and see traditional Chinese. Very much like to visit Malaysia and try local food as the food still remain the same style of cooking 60 years ago or more. Excellent video, please keep on to produce more. Thank you.
Really appreciate your encouragement on the subject matter. I guess these kind of imagery will only be remembered once it's gone, sadly. Yeah me and my friend are both cantonese speaking Malaysian Chinese, so it's more natural for us to present these short videos in cantonese while using traditional Chinese subtitles. Do drop by more often whenever the new video is up, thanks again!
@@10cFILM I haven't finished all your videos yet but yeah please continue to produce more. These days we may have to preserve or defend to speak Cantonese and write traditional Chinese or we may lose them. I moved to Canada from Hong Kong over twenty years ago. Thanks again.
@@kwkwong5660 no worry, will continue to do so with passion. I totally agree on the preservation of different dialects, it's so unique and precious from a social & historical standpoint. Please come visit Malaysia more for our culture, food and scenery 🙏🙏
I can't believe this is Malaysia. How come after being independent for more than 60 years it still looks so undeveloped and backward. So sad seeing this 😥
Thanks for dropping by. I think the statement of undeveloped and backward looking is a little exaggerating and unfair. The buildings are well preserved and had new coat of paint. Just look at Singapore, many refurbished old buildings are the main tourist attraction and well maintained. We don't have to replace every old structure with new mega shopping malls and high rise buildings. Hope you will treasure the beauty in them 🙂
I disagree, I am from Singapore and I really appreciate and admire the beauty of small old towns like Tangkak, their people's warmth and hospitality and the slower pace of life
Tangkak is a busy and thriving town. Many new businesses opening. McDonald's opened an outlet there a few months ago.
Good to know Tangkak is thriving. And hope new businesses didn't get the boikot treatment

We always tend to have positive memories about the place we grew up in. I'm sure Malaysia has many wonderful small towns 👍
Very good narrative on Tangkak.

Another classic town in West Malaysia. The town's shops very old and still vividly have values in terms of architecture and history. Great story.
Yes, you are right
好有风味的地方
不錯的地方,當地榴槤好吃

Very nice video 👍👍
Thanks so much Kenny. Wondering if you too like old days charm?
@@10cFILM Yes but also depends on whether the video itself can bring out the old days charm or nostalgia feelings. Yours can! 😀😀
