- Gopeng was the most important town in the Kinta Valley until 1890, when Ipoh became more prominent. It is located 20km south of Ipoh.
Captured entirely using Panasonic Lumix S1 in V-log in 2 separate days in July and August.
Color graded to own taste using CinePrint 16 as base, added some film grain and halation and bloom, finished in Davinci Resolve Studio 18.

Gopeng, another classic old building during British times. Lots of buildings still exists until now and old accessories which you couldn't find now. It has values. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed your video in Cantonese. I’m from Singapore and heard of Gopeng but never been there. I might be going end of this month or next month. I believe there are buses going to Gopeng from Ipoh Medan Kidd bus terminal.
Hi Hin, I'm glad that you appreciated the Cantonese vo. As these all are a by chance cooperation from a friend of mine who has naturally good voice.
Also, if you like old stuff like myself, Gopeng is a good place to be explored for a day trip. It's historical, simple yet has its own charm. Eu Yang Sang the famous Chinese medicine chain is started in Gopeng some decades ago.
I'm not too sure about the public transport though. Make sure you google the info well beforehand.

@@10cFILM Yes. I did my research about Gopeng and towns of Malaysia. I was informed that there are buses from Ipoh to Gopeng. Yes I love the old world charm of towns in Malaysia.

@@10cFILM Yes life is short be happy. As I grow older I like the small towns of Malaysia. Hope to see more of your videos of Perak and nearby states. I just returned to Singapore. Hope to revisit towns that I have been plus new towns like Papan, Gopeng, Kampar and Batu Gajah. .

每次我坐的車 上怡保 经过此地,看到两旁五十/六十年代的两層的屋子, 心里想这像一个死埠,屋内没有一点生命的氣息, 我不曾看过一个人坐着或跑动.它 给我的印象是:这是一个好地方,寧靜是最好的退休 選擇. 從未想到gopeng还有这些"宝藏."
我認為有時候如果我們放慢腳步，留意身邊的東西，可能更會發現“驚喜”

Really need a local to show around all the wonderful food stalls because some of the stalls are hard to find...but worth the effort
Yeah agree on that. But usually my trips are very ad-hoc depends on weather and distance from where I stay. Seldom plan ahead too much. More of the "by chance"and spontaneous encounters style of capturing daily life.
