Polishing of pistons to make it smoother. tweaking the timing and gearing is not exactly something the company does not know about. They know that can be done... they dont do it themselves because then it will become refined like any other bike in the maket. And RE is afraid that they will loose their OLD SCHOOL CHARM.

I did 150km on my classic 500 and it was terrible, the bike was full of vibrations and it wasn't a great experience. 100 km is the best speed for a comfortable ride on the highway
the only issue i have with the bullet (350 cc and 500cc)is that even thought having a good engine displacement, weight of the bike still lacks the acceleration and the top speed. after reaching 110 u could feel that engine cant take it and then u have to come down and just cruze between 90 to 100. the other issue is quick shifting the gear not smooth and no oil cooling which gave me the issue for the engine seal broken twice and canceling the whole road trip mid way. But i was quite impressed with the Himalayan that bike can hold 120kmph for hours on the highway.
There are easy modifications to make the 500 a heavy hitter. I have heaps of photos and information frame mods, cylinder head mods, EFI mods etc. It is not so expensive to get the 500 going hard
the exhaust should be kept short for better performance....the faster the exhaust gas leave the pipe ..better the performance.....a megaphone exhaust with ceramic wool wud definitely reduce some weight plus give it a nice feel
well yes i understand that...but atleast use a proper glasswool exhaust....this exhaust seems too long.......57mm diameter wildboard exhaust from ashu engineering works here in pune would sound good ok urs ( as known as shakeel exhausts....PS: i am not promoting his exhausts ....haha...but they r really good...do check en out...been using since 6 years
Bro you should have ridden it on some spacious place or a highway where top speed was possible to achieve still a nice work but You barely went above 80 kmph As i am an ex bullet modifier and discontinued in 2006 and migrated overseas and the fastest i done was 135 kmph on 350 cc Model He done a good job and he said top speed is 145 which is impressive Thanks for the video keep it up guys
Jokers first get some helmets and also safety gear. And no matter what you do the bullet is as reliable as the quality of the parts that go into it. polishing pistons is a joke. it is the rings which are in contact with the cylinder. so that is eyewash. polishing (hard chrome) of bore will yield results. All in all a nice Hyderabad jugaad. The dialect was the best part of this video

yes it does affect when you polish the piston friction decreases and engine runs smooth and less friction means easily piston moves up and down so more hp
