Before you start judging there hair, Oz is recovering from brain tumors, Michael's got detached retinas that are healing and they are still kicking every other bands ass in today's times.
I want to thank you for the information, I did not know that!, How did his retina detach? That's why I love doing this, I learn so much from you guys. I couldn't agree more, they've been kicking ass for many many years and I've loved all of it!
I have always liked Stryper the 80s in my younger teenager years to this day. I have to say through all the older bands out there they have never lost their step. Stryper gets better with age. Michael Sweet was part of the reason I became a lead singer in 89 I still sing and do metal and rock music. So praise God for Stryper, amazing band
I have also loved Stryper since the 80s! I are exactly right, all the old bands can still put ALL the new bands to shame. They just know how to do it right! Tell you what, if you want to send me a video (only a clip if you want) of you singing some metal, I'll put it on my channel and give you a shout out!!! Just send it to my email. Thanks for hanging out with me and The Crew 🤘
Great reaction. The last 3 albums they have put out are some of their best work. They are ageless and actually harder than they were in their prime in the 80's. As someone said, they have been through some health issue. Michael with 2 detached retina surgeries and Oz with surgery for brain tumors. But both seem to be doing well. All original member except for bass. Perry Richardson joined the band in 2017. He was the bass player for Firehouse. I liked Tim Gaines, but Perry Richardson seemed to breath new life into the band. He is fantastic.
They have been through a lot, personal and professionally. They are such a good band that have stood the test of time. To this day I'm still on love with the opening riff from Soldiers under command!
If you have liked the band as you say, you should listen to their catalog from 2013 to present. Good and great songs and albums. Enjoy. What comes to Oz´s hair, I´m just so thankful, that he is still alive and playing after all shit he has gone through recently. Some goes to Michael, as the pirate-style is not because he wants to start playing pirate-metal... Hopefully they both have a great year 2023 and beyond. I think Stryper is way better now than in the 80´s.
I DO like them! I've been listening to them since "Soldiers under Command". I layer off for a while because some of thier stuff got a little dry... but I'm back to it and loving it! They have been through a lot and are still better than a lot of music of there today!🎸🤘🔥
You may not know about this- but Oz fox had 2 brain tumors removed, and he is now deaf in the left ear. Obviously he had to cut his hair for the Surgery. Praise the Lord, he is still able to play with the band
I did hear that... afterwards! It was just something that I said. I'm not a mean person, I actually live everything that they stand for! They are an amazing band that I have loved since the 80s! Thanks for checking out my video and for your comment. I love chatting with people about music! Take care and don't forget to subscribe! Thanks!
Definitely jump back into them for their newer stuff - they sound GREAT! "The Valley", "Yahweh", or "Blood From Above" are a few to start. One of our traditions is, our "kids" (in their 30's) come over Christmas Eve for dad's famous french-bread pizza, then they spend the night so we can get up early and open presents.
I agree, thier sound is clean and awesome! I have heard "the valley" and " The devil doesn't live here" .. those were great! You have an fantastic tradition (no matter how old they are... your kids are your kids). The pizza sounds awesome (I love French bread pizza! Thanks for checking out my video, it really means a lot.
I've been a fan of these guys ever since a friend of mine played the Stryper version of Winter Wonderland. There new album is fantastic as well as there previous 4 albums. I actually stopped listening to them after "Against the Law". I was disappointed with that album , I didn't like the way the album sounded compared to there earlier material. I got back into them when they released "Reborn". It's amazing Michael Sweet has been able to preserve his voice considering he has played with and toured with Boston , recorded 2 albums with George Lynch and continued to release Michael Sweet solo albums.
I love these guys! Thier just plain good! Yes, they've had a couple of "flops" but most bands do. As I said in another comment, I still love the opening riff to Soldiers under Command.
The original Members Oz Fox Micheal Sweet and Robert Sweet are now 60 yrs old. Drummer 62 yrs old. They sound better than ever - vocal range has only gotten better. Usually bands in the 80s fade away and sound creativity no longer there. Saw them in concert back in 1987 Akron Ohio.
I have never seen them live😪, but you never know! They are truly getting stronger as they go! Put that against a lot of music today.... Stryper wins!!!
Stryper!!!!! Love love love these guys! Good choice of reedaction band! Happy holidays and keep on rockin'🔥
I love these guy too!
They have been good for a long time now.
Stryper iz even better today. One of the greatest bands of their age today rocking
I have always loved Stryper! They are definitely one of the few bands that get better with age!🤘

yes, brain tumor surgery cost Oz his hair. Glad he´s back

Dont u mean last 4? No more hell to pay is killer
Ever since Fallen, their albums have been amazing. Check out No More Hell to Pay and pretty much every album since then. Solid music and 110% bangers.
They are definitely one of those bands that get better with time!
