  • Jesse, Mike, and Kosta head up to Temiscaming, where they meet up with Andrew and Rich OUTDOORS. The next morning, with all our gear and clothing for 4 days loaded, we hit the trails! Heading from Temiscaming to Val-d'Or, the trails were tabletop all day, and most of it was first tracks riding! Besides the temps, the conditions could not have been better. An awesome day to start off a 1300 km trip.

    I wouldn't pay extra $200, trails here in new Brunswick are just as good, pass is around $150

      I actually don't agree at all. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in NB but the trails were not as regularly maintained as QC. Significantly more bumpy sections that hadn't been groomed in days compared to Quebec where I ride for 4 days and don't hit a single bump. Cheers, Jesse

    I actually prefer some bumps. A flat trail is boring I like to use the that R motion suspension that I paid for

    Great trails, we missed out this year being South of the Border. Stayed at the Forrestal dozens of times, always had to wait hours to get dinner. We stay on the other side of town now. Can't wait till tomorrow you'll be on the best , fast Wicked Trail number 93 from sennetere to lebel, it has it all. Stay safe up there

We all blew belts on the way to lebel and my gas light came on. It does every time on that Trail, and we gas up in sennetere lol,our favorite trail for sure. Power on guys, great videos

    Great review and comparison of trail systems. I hope to make a similar trip in a year or two. Keep up the honest criticism/praise on products, trails, accomodations. It's important to hear the good and bad.

      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% agreed. That is our goal, to give our honest opinion of every product we try! Both OFSC and FCMQ do a great job, its just funding that is the major difference. I believe trail system in quebec is partially government funding. Thanks for watching! Cheers,

    Ive been a snowmobiler for 40 years. Today two things really scare me about our sports future. One being the cost. The average family no longer can afford to get into, and then travel to use them.
    The second concern is how we have lost what ill call your basic snowmobilers code of ethics.
    As always enjoy it all fun informative without being lectured to. Killer combo.
    CK Ryder

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Chris. I do agree that the cost has become significant but that only applies if you want to buy newer sleds. You can still enjoy the sport with older sleds if you can't afford newer machines. I still see lots of older rides out there and people enjoying the day on the trails with good reliable older models. Traveling and accommodations can be expensive every weekend but you can always do day trips which is how I used to do it (and still do) to keep costs down. I think the code of ethics applies - especially to the guys that can't seem to stay on the trails. Hopefully it doest get worse. Mike

      @@sledaddicz your absolutely correct and on well groomed trails early 2k sleds offer a great price point for alot of fun. Any idea If the combo bags will fit on the lynx rave? I know the behind the seat bag won't unfortunately because of the wider rear of the seat I'm guessing might be the same issue with the combo bag

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey dude! You are correct. Like the trail seat bag, the combo bag is made for the narrow seat on the gen4 two strokes, so it won't won't on your lynx. However, if the seat is the same as Ski-Doos wide seat (for the 900 turbos), then the other combo bag that's made for the wide body would work. Cheers, Jesse

      @@sledaddicz appreciate the quick response I will look into that. Seperate topic but I really wish they would make a stackable fuel caddy that was split 3/4 fuel and 1/4 oil so you could carry some fuel and oil by only using one set of linq mounts. I mainly just want another bag to carry fluids without the risk of having oily boxers and socks at the end of the ride lol. Nothing garbage bags and duct tape can't fix though I guess

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What I do is use my combo bag only for oil. My clothes go in the sr21 bag on top of my stackable jerry and my tech and toothbrush and snacks and hats go in my linq sport bag. Cheers, Jesse

    • @sledaddicz

    Nice video man. Being from Qb, I certainly appreciate your comments. BTW, if you buy your Qb permit before December 9th, it is $340. In Ontario, it’s $270 I think. What I want to say is this is not that much more expansive in Qb compared to Ontario

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! I was comparing in season prices. Its 270$ and 420$ in season, but in early season, its not as much of a difference (180$ early in Ontario, vs 340$ early in Quebec). Besides, trails in Québec are a whole other level of MINT! Thanks for tuning in. Cheers,
