Thank you for a wonderful performance / evening last night in Straßbourg! Whiel I can't compare the two cellos, I can confirm that the Archinto sounded absolutely astounding!
The intensity in the vibrato wow. 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾. I. New to playing cello. I need tips for vibrato. I play violin and I noticed the techniques are different. 😂. Please help me.
You got the correct answer from another person, I suggest to check an old recording of Valter Dešpalj (teacher of Leskovac, Hauser, Šulić, Soltani etc.) - it's wonderful.
My mom told me that the life of a musician is not easy. Now I understand; it is an almost disturbing decision to make on which Stradivarius cello to play.
It is actually incredible . It doesn’t make it easier but you can go much further and develop a relationship with the instrument. It gives you much more colors with time, but as you said the price is also because of historical value. I was loaned a 800000$ instrument last year and although it wasn’t perfect certain registers just sounded divine. Hope you get that chance one day to find out yourself.
One time I got to play on an insanely expensive beast of an old Italian cello, and the difference in sound production between my cello and that one was probably like between a nice new VW with 100hp and some Ferrari with 500+ hp. And my cello isn't that bad either... 😢
@@vladiinsky Yes! I am lucky, I haven’t had yet to buy my own cello since I get loaned very good instruments, next year I will be in a contract for three years with a Montagnana! I am so excited!
No problem, I’ll take it.
Thanks for the Mendelssohn. It was exquisite. I’ll never hear it my old way again. Good bye to my old Mendelssohn.
La foto final es muy emotiva!!! Ese chelo esta seguro y en las mejores manos: su chelista lo quiere con todo su ❤❤❤
Saludos Pablo!!!

No he podido evitar la lagrimita viéndote abrazado a tu nuevo cello, qué emoción. Decisión adecuada, desde luego😊
Very interesting I hope I get a similar relationship with one of my cellos. Great video! ❤
Very sweet video. Maybe it’s not a farewell, but just a “goodbye for now”
A true love story often involves a good-bye...
Is there a comparison video in which it is possible to hear them both in the same piece of music?

Quizá algún día el archinto se conozca como “el ferrandez “ felicidades
What is the name of the piece he plays at the end?
Mendelssohn Song Without Words Op 109

I’ll take it also. I play on a student cello.
Show your bows, talk more about them.

lol… yeaaaahhh…. not what she meant.
I hope you'll be happy with the new insrument as well. ❤️ I just have a question. What strings did you/do you use on your Cellos?
Looking at the colors of the silk windings at the tailpiece, those appear to be a full set of Larsen strings on both cellos.
@@BrianTimmonsTX Thanks!
Hes mentioned it a couple times, he uses full set of larsen magnacore strong
are these instruments as good as people say or is more like an historic value?
