Hermosa entrevista Pablo, gracias! I was lucky enough to hear Aurora Natola play that cello in Buenos Aires, it would be around 1981. In Bach's suite in C Major, when finishing the first arpeggio at the beginning and playing the low C, she separated the cello from her body, as if she wanted the sound to continue to resonate longer, the effect was incredible. The fourth string did not stop to vibrate and then the sound slowly faded ... a really magnificent cello ... .. Jan Vogler tells a beautiful story, and all his words are very inspiring. Thank you Pablo!!
Muchas gracias!! 😊
This was great! Thanks. So nice to hear Jan speak about his cello and his approach to music and life. Off to listen to his Bach Suites recording again!
Good interview! Just a little detail: Feuermann died in 1942, so Greenhouse must have played for him in the early war years, not after... But yes, practice your scales!
Hi,can you tell me how to get rid of giglioma? I have a medium-sized ball on my left hand, when I have been doing cello for more than 2 hours, the nerve in my hand starts to "shoot", please tell me how you got rid of it?please
Hey pablo quick idea Maybe u could give the cellist viewers a chance to talk to you in tslking cello in the future im curious what that would look like (and yes i would be honoured to talk to u as well 😏)
