I think ever woman deserves a statement piece in her wardrobe. Which of these is your favorite? You can shop everything in this video right here. hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&SZ46H?s=1031866
I recently purchased a coral silk slip skirt, it’s bright, and beautiful. I can hardly wait to wear it. Definitely a personality piece. I have a gold flat, a nude pump and a pair of strappy heeled sandals for summer. I have a cream silk cami for evening wear.
Nada!! Thank you! This video is the Perfect answer for what to do with so many of my Personality pieces that were not in outfits- they were just being kept because of ‘being my style’, but they were not placed into wearable outfits for me! RESULT: I was putting together looks all through this video, as you were talking, and I could ‘SEE’ how they would work together - right down to the accessories! How Perfectly Amazing! WOW! Thank You!!!❤
Thank you, I really enjoyed this video. I bought my first ever sequin skirt last year and had to work up my courage to wear it. This year it won’t be as hard.😂
Loved, Loved, Loved this video. It’s right up my L.A. alley. I have skirts, pants in velvet. I refuse to purge them just because I live in Florida. All I need is an invitation to N.Y. Or somewhere that has a winter. You touched my heart ♥️.
I don’t have very many special events to attend, but if I’m going out for a fancy meal, I always make sure my statement piece is on my upper half. A gorgeous sequined skirt will only be seen when I’m coming and going!😂
I just got a statement piece that breaks all the rules but mine. I saw it online and my heart jumped out of my chest. It is a tunic with s scarf hem. It is patterned to look like an oriental rug. It is my colors! Reds and rusts. Wearing it with a side tuck and my leather leggings and boots. My hair will be curly and I’ll wear my statement red beaded earrings. I’m a little boho! I usually follow rules, but I am not afraid to break them sometimes!
My ultra-casual lifestyle doesn't call for any statement pieces, but the closest I have would be a pair of coated denim jeans in burgundy (one of this season's colors!) that look like leather. I have a pair of pointed-toe leather ankle boots in the same color to create that long, unbroken line. I LOVE your videos! ❤
Hi, you asked about feather......I am not a feather-type person, but you do a good job recommending how to wear this. I have a sequined skirt and I balance it with a simple black top.
I just bought a black sequin skirt from Old Navy at a great price. I had not considered wearing it during the day, but I like the idea of a sweater and high boots. I can't wear chunky sweaters (big boobs), but a cashmere sweater and colorful silk scarf would be amazing.
Love feathers and fringe, but feathers on the bottom of a blazer doesn't seem flattering....adds width to that area. I'll stick to feathers on wrists and fringe on dress hems.
This was all confusing to me. A lot of it, especially the embellished sweaters, I would have thought would fall into your “but wait, there’s more” category.

My favorites were the metallic slipdress, the metallic pants, the embellished sweater, and the green velvet items!

Hi Nada, I often don’t have the time to comment, but I always give a thumbs up.❤

Just a thought: you can buy feather trim at fabric stores, sew snaps on trim and garment, snap on and off when you need a plain blazer.

Think feathers look much better on birds than on people.
I fancy a silk shirt worn over tailored trousers and a velvet jacket. I've got my eye on a blue velvet jacket from M &S.

I hope no birds were sacrificed for the feathers. I would consider wearing ‘faux feathers’, if they exist.
