Same here...... I was a teenager when kal ho na ho was released. I was amused by the beauty of the city, especially the bridge. Then slowly I started watching hollywood series and movies. I am so do obsessed with nyc. It's my dream destination. Though never visited USA. But hopefully will visit someday

Even my obsession for New York is the movie Kal Ho Na Ho. As far as I can remember and what I'm told by my family, the title song of Kal Ho Na Ho was the very first song I learned to hum as a child. 🙃 Then HIMYM, F.R.I.E.D.S, Suits, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, New York movie (John, Katrina, Neil) has just fueled my interest in New York City. Also, the Penthouses are crazy awesome there.

i had shown only an availability of ~$10k in my CSS profile as cost of attendance for nyu first year. they gave me 93% scholarship in nyu shanghai campus (class of 2027) and that left me with a total expense of ~$27k. I declined the offer as the financial situation then wasn't letting me. Now the situation is better and i think i can pay upto ~$35k annual as cost of attendance. so does this increase my chances of getting accepted to nyu main campus if i apply again (for class of 2028) with the rest of the expenses covered and if not then roughly what is the minimum amount of money that a person should show to get accepted into nyu main campus.

Hey love your videos I wanted to ask can you please explain the whole early decision and regular decision applications for ivy League universities especially (the early decision ) are you not allowed to apply for other universities in your home country just wanting to understand the whole process
You can apply to only one college in ED in USA, if you are admitted by that college, you cannot say yes to any other college and you have to attend the ED one regardless of the fact that they give you scholarship/good aid or not. You can still apply to more colleges in early action or regular or in your home country, which will be your backup if you are rejected by the ED college

With the research paper and work experience, you should be familiar with your research field and expertise, try to find research labs based on those areas!

NYU is need aware for international, which means that if you do submit CSS, your application will be scrutinized based on that fact. Yes, they do offer aid to internationals!

hey saloni! I'm obsessed with New York. Infact the first time I've visted new york, am 14 and know ntg much abt the shooting spots but still fell in love with the place. The buildings, busy life, especially times square ....... Am not 21, graduated and got a campus-placement and I've signed a 1 yr bond with my company and am now even more obsessed with nyc after all the sitcoms I've watched during the lockdown😂 I do have a question..... If am applying for masters in nyu or any other uni, after this 1 yr job of mine, do I still need a recommendation letter from my under-grad clg or since my most recent work would be my job, do we need lors from my work like manager or my mentor? I didnt start applying or deciding on my plan yet but I just wanna know this for clear so that if i n case I still need lor from my uni professors, I gotta get prepared right! help me with this if u can. It's really possible. My friends were not studied well during their school years. Their average score of GPA was 3.4 on five-point scale. But thew were accepted by Harward and Yale. The most important things are a portfolio,SAT results and personality

If and when you need to show a bank statement for the first year for international graduate students, do you HAVE to show the entire $50k (total cost of attendance for 1 year as a reference), or can you show like $25K and ask the university for scholarship for the rest? How does it work? Of course I'd be working all the jobs (i.e. 20 hrs. per week. I have 6 years of professional experience)

Hi! I’m an international student. I’ll be applying for fall’25 for undergraduate in computer science.. im currently in grade 12 Can I apply ED TO NYU with financial aid as I can’t afford the fee.. Can you tell me how can i get financial aid without CSS profile because for every college the application charged $16. That means if I apply to 10-15 colleges, it almost cost 10000/- to 15000/- Indian Rupees. So, do I have any other option to apply for a financial Aid. Please take a look & reply.
There are CSS waivers available, you can request the admissions office directly via email (I highly suggest not to waste too much time on this and focus more on your application)
Please also make a video on more realistic universities, as these are out of budget for most students.
