That is very funny. It's working that well "at close range".

Thank you for this video! I've always been fascinated by the Moog Taurus and a few years back I finally got a Moog Minitaur to accompany my Roland PK-5A pedals. I've used that setup to mimic an actual Taurus setup and I was pretty close in my settings, but after tweaking a few parameters as shown here it sounds spot on.

I discovered another way to set "beat" frequency that doesn't alter the speed of the beats say from the bottom C to the C 2 octaves up (via octave button on my midi pedals) and that is to tune the VCO 2 to be exactly the same as VCO 1 and then in the MInitaur Editor I manually set the VCO 2 "beat" frequency to where it beats once every 3-5 seconds. Doing it like this keeps the beat frequency the same regardless of what note I play. Aside from that, I keep the knobs roughly the same as in this video so no need for me to rehash that. Have any of you use this setting vs. not?

When did Moog start using Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts as their button supplier? Thanks for the video!

Pretty sure this is just the raw minitaur.
