Thank you for posting! I remember going on here as a very young child in the 60's! Our whole family were on holiday, including aunts and uncles! One uncle thought it was so funny that the cow's tail kept hitting everyone until it caught him on the face - he tied the tail to the railing! I remember the ride had a sort of bridge that constantly moved back and forward - you had to old on tight so you didn't fall over! There were magic mirrors too and a blast of air hit you when you stood on a certain square of the floor! Lots of dark corridors and stairs made it a bit creepy!
I visited this attraction as a very small child in the early 1960s. The ride always has fascinated me despite not remembering much about it. It's brought memories back for me. I think when I visited though there were animals going round and round on the outside. Thankyou for sharing this.
Jeez !!!!!!! I remember to my horror, the tingling electric shock you had as you walked up the wooden steps to the begin your nightmare, only natural to hold on too the rail, to steady yourself, this used as fun!!! , 60yrs on and I'll never forget it.
great video - thanks for sharing. A rare insight into this "ride" - this brought back memories and I sort of remember the rise being a bit tedious and hard work. Great stuff 🙂
Does anyone remember a Noah's Ark themed attraction where Noah sings a song and says, "Noah is my name!"? I saw it on a TV show once, but don't remember what or where it was located.
The one with Noah singing “Noah is my name” was the one at Kennywood near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was renovated in 2016 where they eliminated that Noah singing.
@@davehahner5344 Oh thank you so much for clearing that up! I'm kind of sad it doesn't have Noah singing anymore. I loved that! And never forget it lol
I'm Craig Peters.I haven't been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for three years. I remember Noah's Ark but thought it had gone for good. Also has the Wild Mouse ride gone? My favourite rides are Revolution and the Pepsi Big Max. Years ago my soft spot was having brown or grey stockingfeet in the Funhouse, but sadly it was destroyed by fire in the 1990s. Valhalla water ride was built in its place. I'd love a new Funhouse to be built, the only amusement missing.
What did you actually used to see on the ride? Could someone explain it as I can't really make stuff out. A lot of corridors. I remember it being operational when I went as a kid, but never went on it.
@@darkridesandwalkthroughs6961 I think was the compressed air teap door I hated the most. Fond memories of grama and granda taking me on we lost grama 5 months ago funny how many memories are being brought up. The greatest show puppet ride also another one fond memories of

Look like a freaking horror ride even though it isn't.

Your story is very similar to mine in every way! Although I was there (as you were) as a young child in the 1980's.

Lost count how many times I've walked through this one, happy days

I remember going here as a kid and it scared the crap out of me
I'd love to do an "Urbex" exploration of this ride and see what it's like inside now.
Cant imagine it has aged very well inside
I recognize the first song that's playing! I remember reading it as a poem in one of Shel Silverstein's books!
The music in this attraction always stuck with me as a kid
I'm trying to remember why I was absolutely terrified going through this as a kid. There's nothing I can see that I should have been scared of!?
Great video 👍

This one used to play the unicorn song by the irish rovers and we are all going to the zoo tomorrow

I wonder why this closed. I went last week to pleasure beach and I saw this ride moving from side to side
Ryan Beet we were told it was down to good old health and safety 🙄
It does still rock
Lack of fire exit supposedly. So what we need to do is get fire exits put in then it can reopen.
@@sk8rpunkbarbie You can’t go in it though. So the fact it rocks means nothing.
@@danielledewitt1 I do know you cant go in, fact it rocks means the mechanism still works is my point
The ride is still there but it is closed to the public

Pretend animals and people.
It's one of two in the world still operating well rocking the other is open
i really do miss this ride
Except it’s not operating because you can’t go inside it.
You only saw the arse-side of the cow....When you trod on the pressure pad, it lifted its tail and farted !
This also terrified me as a kid inwas about 8 or 9 when you could still get free tickets from the paper! Wasnt wrist bands then
I remember being scared of the Stepping stones as a kid. thinking i would fall in the water
