Another little Blackpool Pleasure Beach treausure that I never got to go on. Why on earth would they demolish this and replace it with a fast food outlet?! Don't know why but the fact that this is filmed at nighttime and the old style music make it sort of eerily enchanting.
So happy I found this. I always remembered a ride that you dangle down on but sat in a carriage from when I was a child. This was it. The bit that stick in my head most was the outside bit and the circus section at the end. Always remembered looking down to the act on a bike
I went on this when it was in the Paradise Room in 1985. I was only 5 but remember getting off the monorail at the side of the building and boarding the strange Victorian car. It was very creepy not knowing where the cars were going beyond the dark tunnel. I remember being thrilled by the track ending at the circus room and seemingly floating over the scene to rejoin the track at the other side (I was too young to know the cars were in fact suspended from the track).
You have NO idea how thankful I am to you that you uploaded this video 😩 I only went on this ride once when I was a child but it must of an an impression on me because it bedded in my memory and it was the going outside but and looking down and seeing all the Little figures 😩 I must of only been 10 or 11 years old lol ugh thank you x such a shame they rid of it for a stupid Burger King!
My sentiments entirely! Strangely enough I don't seem to even recall this attraction, and I visited the park in 1972, 1982 and 1987 around that era! (Maybe in my last visits we were only too mad on boarding the thrill rides and, assuming I caught sight of this deemed it too sedate). Very sad I missed it now, reminiscent of the Peter Pan's Flight track system btw.
omg o remember this ride to well. thanks for putting this on, brings back to many memories. You can find some of the anamatronics round the park.some of the circus is in the magic mountain, and the band thing that was outsid the ride on the front of the magic mountain, some parts used on the ghost train, the happy and sad face. thanks for the upload
Wow, I remember loving to go on this ride as a kid, I remember the hand that was in the ground and you'd start escalating right before it got you. ;) Also, I think about twice or three times, the ride would halt and we'd be stuck floating in the air where the broken drum on the outside is. That was a pretty common occurence with this ride.
Thankyou for the memory, i remember going home with mum and dad always watching this ride and it really creeping me out, ive been looking to see what it was called thabkyou its brought memories back
I always think about this ride as for me it was such a new concept of having the track above you - so when you approached stairs it was quite bizarre. I only remember this being by the Steeplechase - I was young at the time and didn’t think it was there very long (but it always seemed to be breaking down).
You say it wasn't there long-I do hope your being sarcastic or your memory has gone like mush This opened in April of 1990 and closed in June 1997 so it was there for a very long time just over 7 years- Very confused by your comment
@@mikekaraoke I was only young at the time don’t worry about it. 7 years for a ride isn’t that long of a time really compared to how long they keep some of their rides.
@rubyredmedia I think you'll find that was the fun house that burnt down... the noah's ark is still standing (though not operational) and the laughing clown lives on too.
I vaguely remember, as a child going on a ride that started from the top of the tall tower that belonged to the casino underneath, and had a monorail station opposite it. It had cars that dangled from an overhead rail, just like this. I am wondering if this actually is that ride.
GMMilambar I've read that somewhere before. Can't remember what website it's from though. But I believe the building your on about is the Casino building at the front of the park upstairs.
So many happy memories, very emotional watching this.

Same I remember the faces and going through the hoop. It was terrifying for me, I was probably about 6 when I went on it with my twin.
I remember you went outside on this I was only about 9 years old
