Oh yes! Such a tortured soul. My sympathy goes out to her children and loved ones. My guess is she couldn't get past her son's death. It's so very sad😢
I also knew someone, a male teacher who committed suicide because of his wife who had died years before. He couldn't get over it. He took his own life at the beginning of November 2019. When it happened, I entered the secondary school into my classroom. I immediately saw that something had happened. Then I saw a photo of that teacher hanging on the blackboard. I immediately wondered why, etc. Then they told me. So this is it I think...
@ryanstevenson637 yes people know this, though I think, well what I didn't know was that he gave the song to "The Family" a band signed on Prince's label did it first, then a Chris Cornell had a version (really nice), followed by Sinéad's version (I do like this the best) and then finally Prince does it himself, (which for me is the next best version) she & he have imo a painful cry or a depth in the vocals that touched me more. Interesting to listen to different artist's take on the same song or dance, etc it's all what touches us the most ~ that's what is what I crave from creativity - so not comparing whose better, just who moved me with this song. The song itself, lyrics/melody is golden. I give thanks to all ~💚💜❤ peace ~
