I agree with you *BUT* I personally, I don't want to get toggle constellations, Since I was a kid, my dad has always told me *"we don't regret our decisions, no matter how bad they were"*
I used to be so scared of C6 Bennett, bc of all the videos that said it was bad. Then I did more research and realized that he affected characters and teams I never planned on using AND helped teams and characters that I ALWAYS use. So the second I got his final constellation, I C6-ed and I'm happy with it ^-^
I believe that C6 Bennett doom curse is only applicable to those in the early game or those who played during 1.0-1.6 patch. After Inazuma, a lot of characters now have the explanation of "cannot be overridden" whether in their skill, burst, or passive. As you said, there are many teams nowadays don't even require Bennett. I've C6 my Bennett a long time ago. As well as all my friends. It doesn't even affect us or our account in any way.
I just wish theyd say something in a dev diary type thing that this was done to counteract C6 Bennett infusion and similar abilities. That way there would be some security going forward
@@TybossMasterif I had eula (which I don’t sadly) i’d personally pair her with, say: sara, layla, raiden, rosaria, jean, charlotte or furina. All those characters I think would work better with her than bennett.
Besides pyro Keqing and Zhongli, Bennett's C6 also enables the infamous Thundering Furry team with Razor (for those who don't know, it's basically a burgeon team using Razor as an on-fielder using bennett's C6 infusion to trigger burgeons, while also using his ult's Stand to apply electro and prevent the burning aura, and self-overloading to make a very chaotic and fun experience). I just feel like Hoyo has been widening the scope of characters and the once big Bennett C6 discussion has been more and more pointless as less teams need him and his big big synergies with pyro carries stand out way more than him possibly messing up teams that can function without him regardless.
thundering fury razor is actually a pretty strong team, both in single target and AOE, you just build them with EM and enough ER so that razor can reliably burst every rotation.
@@kuekejuu5057 I appreciate a more up to date perspective on c6 Bennet. All the discussion I have seen is dated and many even specifically name Razor as a character who's potential is ruined by C6 Bennet. What I find most interesting is how people who insist C6 Bennet is horrible admit they have never tried it. How informed is that perspective when they never actually tried it? Looking at just the theoretical of it is pretty silly.
I enabled it and I saw no difference. The teams that I use him for were not affected by the pyro infusion, but the annoying marker is gone. So a win-win
@@oliviaaargh I don't remember which team that is. Is it the Razor Hyperbloom, but with Burgeon? Because I remember something like that, but with Candace
C6 Bennett can override C6 Kazuha & Lynette, but it's actually a good thing since you can enable Weapon Swirl. Weapon Swirling lets you swirl Pyro in situations that doesn't allow you to do so such as when fighting Elemental enemies (Shielded enemies, Hydro Eidolons/Tulpas, Electro Manifestation etc.).
But Bennett also infuses the character with Pyro, and the swirl target prioritises the element applied to the character above all, plus Pyro is the stickiest element, it’s hard not to swirl Pyro when standing inside Benny’s ring, C6 or not
@@f.b.iagent3971 Weapon Infusion ≠ Character Infusion. Weapon Infusion applies an element to your weapon, not on yourself. Character Infusion applies an element to yourself, not your weapon. C0 Bennett applies an element to your character. C6 Bennett applies an element to your character AND your weapon. Elemental Reactions also applies to your weapons. But the only way to trigger reactions out of it is by infusing with another element. Take note that any abilities that specifically state that the infusion cannot be overriden actually means that you cannot apply another element to the weapon for a specific duration.
I use bennett, kazuha, and a DPS yelan and it works fantastically. I always had trouble constantly applying pyro bc yelan does best when enemies constantly have pyro so she can vape 100% of the time.
Imagine if Mihoyo added toggleable constellations right after this video, now that would be hilarious (Mihoyo this is a plead to add toggleable constellations, please)
I’m glad to know the pyro buff does apply to bow and catalysts as well. When I got Lyney, I was very close to unlocking that last constellation for Bennett before I reread it and thought it only applied to melee units. That being said, I do like using him mainly in my Physical Xinyan team, so it is still a big consideration for me
i also think certain content creators perpetuated the "C6 bennet is bad and if you activate it you ruin your account dummy" aggression a little too much making people afraid to do so. I did it and dont regret it at all. my favorite element in gensshin is pyro and the dmg boost really helps
yeah there are a lot of people who are vehemently against C6 Bennett because that's like the one thing they think is absolute, but they just never question it.
The funniest thing about this debate for me is that I would've been anti c6 but about a year ago my account was hacked and when I recovered it my bennet had is c6 active which made me realize that only like 2 teams are actually affected by his c6 in a negative way.
I love C6 Bennett as it literally allows anyone to be a Pyro DPS. I ran a team, Furina Crimson Witch Vape and it was one of the funniest teams I ever built.
Pyro Shogun is the funniest thing I have seen. MASSIVE pyro and overload damage, with just normal attacks reacting with her skill. Just slap pyro artifacts on your Shogun, pair her with C6 Bennet and watch the hilarity ensue.
I can't ever enable C6 bc I main Benny with Chongyun for that sweet quick melt dmg. Both of them have kits that shortens CD and seeing as Benny's skill already has a low CD, it's a really neat niche team comp.
I C6'ed Bennett when I got Yoimiya. Do I regret it? Nope. In fact - it was one of the best decisions. I don't play with Physical characters and most characters have their own infusion (Alhaithem, Raiden, Tartaglia). My XL and Yoimiya love that C6 constalation (who doesn't love a bit more dmg). So... I personally recommend you C6 it, UNLESS - you are NEW player with LIMITED character roaster OR you are EULA player. C6 him. It doesnt hurt.
All of your characters being level 89 is driving me actually insane lmao. This was a really great and informative guide on C6 Bennett and you're absolutely right that having fun with the game should always be the main focus of stuff like this
Bennett's pyro infusion is vital for Razor's best team "Thundering Furry". It's also helpful in Sunfire teams, as although the effect is great at maintaining a pyro aura, it can struggle creating the aura in the first place and that little bit extra pyro application gives it the edge it needs
I C6 my Bennett. I was once in a coop and I went with ayaka, while someone else went with Bennett. During battle, Ayaka kept dealing Pyro damage when she supposed to be cryo. So I asked if that Bennett was C6. The player, annoyed, said yes and called me a meta slave then left. My Bennett is C6, but please people, when in Coop, always say if your Bennett is C6 to allow your teammates to choose appropriate characters.
I have c6 Bennett, and as an Eula main I often use him to show her burst DMG, because the pyro infusion helps Eula not defeat everything before her 30 stacks is built up. Still then I sometimes have problems geting the hp of my opponent below 50%.
I think with the introduction of chev in 4.3, those keqing / bennet teams are going to be popping up again so it might be fun to revisit those. I have c6 Lynette and c5 bennet and although it’s fun and all, I actually really prefer Lynette as a sub dps (probably because I don’t have faruzan c6). Open world she’s very serviceable at c6 tho and her self healing on her E.
As a Lyney main I'm at C5 and looking forward to getting my final Bennett copy from the shop or the standard banner or hopefully from a future banner I'm saving for (currently saving for Itto and Arlecchino)
I like having options so my Bennett remains at C5 for the foreseeable future. I know being C6 gives him new options but honestly, I don't use those options at the moment. Like the option to allow Kaeya to melt his own ult, but I don't use Kaeya at all. I have no use for his pyro infusion on any of the teams I want to use him on and on teams I want to use him, being C6 gets in the way. What makes it better for me is that leaving him at C5 gives me the option to C6 him at any time but going C6 don't give me any option to op out of it. Unless they add a constellation toggle, which might happen but unlikely, I won't be unlocking that constellation at all.
I can't think of a single downside for toggle-able constellations, even back in the 2.2 Labyrinth Warriors event there was a temporary buff that would increase your party's constellations by 1 (it visually worked on Aloy, but no actual effect), so the only reason I think it'll never be an option is probably some obtuse lore to gameplay explanation I'd love to be proven wrong and Hoyoverse adds it, then it's a win for everyone
While there's no downside, I think there's no upside for other characters either. I mean, why would you want to toggle off Neuvillette's C6, for example? To make the game less boring?
8:37, Kazuha watches a poor girl drown for 5 seconds like a psychopath. Anywho, I don't necessarily regret activating C6, but I know it's kinda limited my Eula. Granted, she still hits like a truck, so it's not too bad. IT just makes her artifacts a bigger chokepoint than they were before. Also, any chance you'd do a video on thoughts about MHY revamping/redesigning characters? With Star Rail having pure HP scalers, it made me wonder if any of the characters who's entire kit scales off something other than attack (Baizhu, Yun Jin) would get their normal attacks to be scaled off the alternative stat. We've seen them give Fontaine characters new cons that effect their normal attack talent, but thta is different from changing a past character.
HSR’s pure-HP scalers are all supports who are not supposed to contribute (much) to the team’s ass-kicking level. I’m talking about Lynx, Huohuo, and Fu Xuan; Blade technically scales off both ATK and HP, so the general buffers aren’t useless for him. (Huohuo has an ATK buff, which means she can’t self-serve!)
@@darylewalker6862 You're 100% right, but to me, that just makes it more baffling that we don't see alternative scaling in Genshin. You can do some whacky builds in Star Rail, but being a turn-based game, the numbers and role designs limit the viability of a character acting as DPS. You're not clearing MoC with Lynx as your main DPS. In contrast, investment (money or in-game resources) + skill + game knowledge can make any character capable of being a DPS in the abyss. So with their roles not being so hard-defined, why not make all their talents scale to the same stat? That being said, not a big deal at all, just thought it might make a semi-interesting topic.
C6 Kazuha and C6 Bennett actually have a really fun interaction -- whenever Kazuha tries to infuse himself but he's in C6 Benny's burst, it'll swirl on top of Kazuha, because Pyro+Anemo on his weapon = swirl. Then, since Kazuha's C6 makes it so that EM scales his damage up across the board, you can actually just take the ol' EM goblet instead of trying to make a % dmg goblet work on him, and it'll scale his damage up VERY similarly to how it'd be if he took an anemo% or pyro% goblet instead -- only the damage will go up regardless of which type of damage you're doing. You can, in essence, play C6 Kazuha as if he were Pyro or Anemo, without even switching loadouts. It's pretty cool.
C6 Kazuha still wants an Anemo goblet because the C6 only increases his normal, charged and plunging attack DMG, and not his skill and burst which still contribute a large portion of his damage, especially in AoE situations where he shines most.
@@alpha4935 His skill and burst damage go up with EM because his skill and burst use EM for swirls they cause. If your Q/E are swirling, the damage goes up with EM. If they aren't, your team needs more application.
I finally c6'd him about a month ago just for the heck of it. At this point, I rarely even use Benny, and even when I do, it's on teams where he has zero chance of ruining anything, and having the boost for characters like Xiangling, Diluc and Dehya is nice. Zero shade for anyone who hasn't c6'd him; it's silly that Hoyo hasn't made cons toggle-able.
Day 1 player here and Ayaka main. I have barely used Bennett together with her, and if i did, it was in coop, which i dont use them anymore due to having Kokomi now. I was quite afraid of enabling C6, after so much, but i don't mind as much as I thought i would, and the extra damage I've got in National is very pleasing so yeah, that's my experience. I really hope they do add constellations toggles in the future regardless, it being in a huge qol update like 4.3 is or, in a main x.0 update
Back in my day, I was someone who was really trying to be a Keqing main. Before I could get Keqing (it took well over a year of playing), I heard about the negative effects of C6 Bennett on her physical playstyle, which is what I ended up building towards. Years later, I'm really liking Lynette's style as well, and I play a lot more with characters I like than anything else, but I still never C6'd my Bennett because I knew of his Infusion Overwriting. A bunch of people criticize me for having a "Genshin Boomer" mindset, but I still stand by my decisions until Toggling Cons becomes a thing.
I wish infusions in general were more considered. We hadn’t even got geo infusions until just now with navia and still don’t have a character that can give an external electro/anemo infusion
Never gonna C6 him for 1 reason; it ruins his ability to be the on-field DPS character w/ supporting Chongyun enabling him to Melt all his skills by infusing his normals with Cryo. I've got a lot of nostalgia for this team I ran wayyyyyy back in the day and even though I rarely run it now, I still want to have the option.
My problem with Bennet is that unlike some other characters, he works one way when you get him, and then suddenly he functions an entirely different way when you get C6 and you can never go back, forcibly forever changing how you would use him, even if it's not THAT big of a change.
I don't know about other people, but I've never liked the idea of circle impact in the first place. I used Bennett with Xiangling only because of the ability to snapshot. And the ability to apply an element to yourself consistently sucks if you don't really use someone like Kazuha who can take advantage of that. I still remembered getting overloaded and knocked out of his circle (and instantly killed many times), or getting frozen consistently while Barbara's skill was active. I'm so glad that we have more options now so I can completely avoid all those stupid things I hate back in the day.
The probability that any future good physical character wants Bennet is low, because if we get one, they will probably want to be using the Superconduct reaction for the 40% physical res shred, and irrespective of C6 Bennet causes a LOT of Pyro application to all enemies inside his Burst, which kinda gets in the way of the Superconduct since Pyro reacts with and clears both Electro and Cryo. Also, for some reason the developers keep trying to make physical damage work specifcally on Cryo characters, and as such they just need Electro support to get the Superconduct, and Kuki just so happens to provide off-field Electro damage while also being a healer.
People forget sara exists. She gives the bennet buff and fills a burst dps roll... She even surpasses bennet at c6 in electro teams. Sure she doesn't heal but her damage makes up for any healer you put in the team. Raiden/Sara/yaoyao/flex works ridiculously well. If you got nahida you can go Raiden/Sara/nahida/jean. Sara just doesn't work well with eula unfortunately, but she is still as good as bennet.
I ended up C6ing my Bennet but that was mainly just cus I got fed up of the red dot being there, but I've also noticed no problems with having him C6 either personally and I don't see that changing in the future
Have never had a problem with C6 Bennett, but I still think toggleable cons is undeniably a good thing. Challenge runs, showcasing, or just messing around. Honestly, Bennett doesn't even really come up for me in that idea. I just want to know how much more damage I'm doing with cons, maybe even mess around with an old playstyle that cons changed. And while I don't do or care about challenge runs myself, that is 100% the kind of thing other people like to do and I think they should be allowed to do it.
7:00 mona with r5 prototype amber and instructors (for vape / melt) or noblesse (for your ayaka). plus it becomes a freeze team, which means it'll need less healing and that mona's buff lasts longer
I was actually shocked when I noticed that my Kazuha didn't have an Anemo infusion anymore when I was in Benny's burst of a friend. Over the years I collected Kazuha's constellations since he is my boy and for that I won't give up my Anemo infusion. Personally I cannot understand why they make constellations for a character which includes an elemental infusion but don't add the "cannot get overwritten" feature. miHoYo only includes that phrase for newer characters while older characters have a severe deficit. For example if I would decide to activate my C6 Benny I won't be able to use my Kazuha with him anymore since Kazuha cannot utilise the Pyro Infusion without running a meme build. I think that miHoYo should add the "cannot get overwritten" feature in every older character which has an elemental infusion in their kit. Especially the infusions given by constellations should include this phrase all the time because you have to pull this specific character multiple times just to get disappointed. For me it's C6 Kazuha and it feels like they don't appreciate the people using a from the game's perspective support as the Main DPS :/
@@GenshinYuppe Noelle is different tho. There are characters who have their elemental infusion in their burst included for that Noelle is not a good example…
The only reason I keep Bennett at C5 is because I use Eula. If there are other good buffer for Physical and heal, I C6 my Bennett. I would have done that if Mika is equally as good or better, but he's not.
I'm keeping my Bennett c5 , I want to keep him versatile. Yes I know Mika & all these other supports exists. But Bennett is just so universal that it's not worth it for me.
90% of the decisions on my account have been to better my favorite character, Yoimiya. I pulled Yelan for yoimiya, I pulled c6 yunjin for Yoimiya, I pretty much only use Zhongli for Yoimiya, and then decided after over 6 months of having it unchecked, C6'ed my Bennett. I never regretted it. Realistically, the only character it fucks up is Eula, and I benched her a month after getting her. Even Keqing's best team doesn't have Bennett anymore.
I'd rather not C6 my Bennett because I enjoy the idea of normal attacking with characters that shouldn't be played optimally with their normal attacks. Granted, Mika alleviates this but I like the idea of having both of my sons in a team. Like you said, I like having him as an option, always.
A for fun team i use cant have c6 benny, its bennet and chongyun together, the autos will apply cryo for the E to melt, chongyun will reduce bennets cd with c2, so its 100k+ E's with 1,5s cd
Man im glad i didnt give in to the red dot 😂 i honestly dint have any strong feelings towards Bennett's c6, but until we can turn cons on and off, i wont activate it
Me after 26 months playing and only a C2 Bennett - "well this debate excludes me for the time being" I have Bennett's luck pulling for him, only got his second constellation because of 4.0
I maybe 8 months late, but I just got his C5 and want to prepare for his C6 by watching this video. From what I observed the main disadvantage of C6 Bennett is mainly for Physical characters like Eula or Freminet.(I am a Freminet main but I rarely team him up with Bennett) While it brings great buffs for Pryo Sword, Polearm and Claymore DPSs as well as improving Pryo reaction on different teams. Overall I am C6ing him once I get Bennett again. Because pryo infusion looks cool.
When I first played Genshin in the days/weeks after it first came out. I loved using Razor as my main DPS with Bennett backing him up. That's probably why I still refuse to give Bennett his C6. My Razor is ready for the day Physical DPS gets a buff. :3 Likely. Many, Many, Years from now.
People who don't want to activate their C6 Bennett? Do you mean people who still believe that a physical team using Bennett is a good team? Oh sorry, do you mean CASUALS WHO HAVE JUST TASTED THE META and think Bennett is always the best choice as a buffer even in physical teams? People who think physical is the best meta of all time?? gosh, I don't have the energy to argue with people like them 🤣🤣
Its not that hes best choice as buffer its because he can heal too. Most buff character just give extra dmg and usually more like sara for example for electro team but than she cant heal so you sacrifice 2 slots for a price of one benny :D. Some melt teams get too much melt because of him if they get overwitted that means they dont get the procs they want for better dmg. He is not greatest buffer for sure but at least for me I like Ayaka and Keqing and getting his C6 while maybe not world shattering would just make life harder for no reason and limit my team comps for them. So I can just hold on to c5 easily as I would drastically lose dps if he was c6 in their team.
Stumbled upon this video. Dint watch the video, just read the comments below. A worth pyro DPS has come out and it's time to c6 my Bennett. Arlecchino let's go!!
To me, this is one the dumbest debates within the community, bar none. - if you activate it, cool, - if don't that's also cool. If you're aware of what pros and cons it brings, why does it matter in the first place?
imagine making an entire video about c6 Bennett without talking about his DPS team with Chongyun. like bro, Bennett is absolutely INSANE in melt teams, he's the only characters with a fast pyro application that's also slow enough to consistently melt if you do your rotations right, and c6 ruins it because now you apply too much pyro.
I can completely see c6 Bennet being great for certain teams, but I would personally rather not risk making him better for some teams, but unusable for others I may want in the future.
I enabled it and my only regret is that I can't play Melt Main DPS Bennett or Thundering Fury Main DPS Bennett as an option. Eula prefers Furina/Mika/Raiden to Bennett, Razor can use C6 Bennett in Thundering Furry (EM Razor) which I'm glad I can do since I enabled it, physical Zhongli with Crescent Pike can use YunJin/Cryo/Electro as his team. I'm sure if a polearm character with 5 normal attacks that hit 4 times each to really proc Crescent Pike's passive a broken amount comes out, they'll also have plenty of options besides Bennett. Be it Furina, Mika, Raiden, Fischl, Yun Jin, Zhongli, or some other character they release alongside that character that buffs attack speed.
One argument in favor of C6 Bennett is, ironically, Razor who has a crazy "Self Dendron't Over-Hyper-Load BurgeonBloom Vapetional" team by going EM with C6 Bennett, Xingqiu and Dendro for some crazy simultaneous reactions that are only possible with Razor's weirdness of not infusing himself while at the same time adding Electro damage to himself and having fast application Edit because I found the ridiculous name
Some details on how infusions work are now incorrect. This occurred after Alhaitham was added, and they seemed to have added what I'll call 'fusion removal' to the possibilities. If you are infused via Chongyun, C6 Bennett, Candace, and may have even just sprinted with Ayaka, its possible you'll deal physical damage. (I have a video called 'Mystery Damage' on my channel where I just use these infusions at the same time resulting in my hits rotating through different damage types.(My videos typical exist just for forum discussions on the wiki.)) -- I find C6 Bennett hit or miss. I enabled it since I disliked his character so I figured I'd enable it so I could create meme teams, thus having a Nilou and such who can deal 20k pyro damage per hit for the lulz. The silly builds made me rather enjoy him and the game, but it hurt a few teams I wanted to build later on, such as my Physical Keqing who hits for 23k+25k with her charged attack with out Bennett, and I would have loved to push this further, but now I can't. Then there is melt Ayaka who can enable have C6 Bennett create Pyro Shenhe allowing Ayaka's burst to melt... but then Bennett turns Ayaka's melee attacks into pyro... which hurts some potential meme builds. (Aloy with a 4* weapon can do 50k with her N1 via Shenhe+Yun Jin+Bennett, but Ayaka can't use this team if Bennett is C6. Luckily we know have Wriothesley who is more dependable than Aloy who needs 4 coils to preform these 50k normals.) So hit and miss. :)
Would it affect my Qiqi as a dps/healer? Because that's who I main, she got me through every battle and so far up to gloor 11 of spiral. (I'm not too big on meta and playing extremely competitive so some of my artifacts aren't really that great hence why I'm only just now at floor 11)
As a Lyney main, I c6ed him the instant I could. That extra pyro DMG bonus is juicy and the extra pyro application is nice for swirling. He also enables Xiangling DPS
I have been on team C5 Bennett for a long time, similar reasons as you, despite now days 95%+ players recommend C6 Bennett because 'there's basically no downsides". Firstly, I don't care how "niche" the potential problems are, I still do not like the fact that once it's done, it's locked forever (Or at least until they day Hoyo finally fixes this long, overdue issue). I started playing Genshin as an Ayaka main. And for a while, she was just my best DPS in any case, whether is was her typical Freeze team, or occasionally, against a boss with Bennett. So personally, at least at the time a year or so ago, I did have value of a non-C6 Bennett. The other big reason that I have been against C6 is like you said; Simply the possibly, even if low, of a future character relying or at least benefiting on a non C6 Bennett. That all being said, I think I'm just about ready to just finally pull the trigger and finally just C6 Bennett. I'm now a Nahida main, have many more variety in teams & DPS's to deal with a range of bosses and opponents. Considering I have Arlecchino in my top 3, as well as sometimes using Yoimiya, Gaming & of course the buff to Xaingling, between that, no longer using Ayaka outside of Freeze and still not having Eula, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives, for now at least. While I do still share some of the concerns of the past, particularly the "What if" of a future character that makes me regret, that same "what if" could also be applied to Hoyo finally allowing togglable cons before then. At least I would like to think that they would.
7:53 as a c6 lynette main with c6 bennett, i just run her in teams like jean/faru/furina but this also enables me to do double swirl vv vape stuff (ive run yoi/yelan/lynette/benny for this)
honestly my current main two teams (diluc and kaeya dps) are REALLY not negatively affected. benny is usually on diluc's team and it's only benefits there, and if i want to run benny on kaeya it enables melt kaeya. but im unsure how it affects kazuha as he's also on my kaeya team... idk i think ive been spooked too much too
even with eula now you play furina with her so the infusion on bennett's c6 lets you vape her normals which negates the damage loss from her autos being pyro.
"Permanently lock yourself out of certain team comps" vs "gain 15% pyro dmg bonus on certain team comps" does not sound like the fair trade some frame it as tbh. I like Lynette, and I like Keqing; in fact, I like infusions in general (always felt like the devs could do so much more with normal attacks) and until Bennett's C6 becomes toggleable, he'll stay at C5. They were prudent enough to put toggles in Honkai, even on things that are a core part of the character (i.e self-proccing dodge skill), no excuse for not having them in Genshin tbh.
Since initially getting Bennett C1 all the way back in 1.2 (only wanted 1 but I ended up with 2 copies) multiple years later, I have a c4 Bennett, he doesn’t seem to like me, so C6 has luckily not been a concern
That part of the video where Ayaka has a level 1 weapon, and has to reset the boss attempt. Of course, this is why I scoff at every mention of artifact load-outs. One character, one weapon. I don't move them around. But I don't enjoy micromanaging, like, at all.
I c6 my Bennet ages ago and have no issues. This back in Enkanomiya. I realized the team I run for Eula doent need Bennet, and other my other carries at the time didnt scale off atk. But my Diluc, Yoimiya liked the pyro boost. As time went on, its never been an issue.
With Furina, C6 Bennett works really good to keep infusing pyro, so Furina can reverse vape more. I started using Kazuha, Bennett, Xiangling and Furina, and this team came out really good as my Furina is C2.
I think mihoyo is dumb but even i dont think theyre dumb enough not to know how their most widely used healers constellation works. They obviously make new characters with him in mind by making their infusions not overridden. Theyve also moved towards non-atk scaling characters lately to give us variety outside of bennett teams and balance characters with his existence in mind. Some enemies even seem designed to counter him by hitting you much harder when youre pyro infused. Im a eula main myself but i HIGHLY doubt some new physical character will come out that NEEDS bennett but specifically not c6... if you really think about it, theres leaks on characters months away and no signs of any such character. If such a character comes out it could be years from now and whos to say we're even still playing by then? Its completely illogical but people are so afraid of the CHANCE that it happens, despite being able to get a huge damage boost and new team comps enabled in the CURRENT version. I find it wild.
I C6ed him a few month ago because I wanted the dmg buff for yanfei and I didn't want the red mark, and frankly I don't really regret it. I don't ever play physical and my Ayaka has been benched for a while now, so it doesn't bother me that much. And I'm also kinda happy not to have to put bennett in every team now, it makes me want to build more characters.
my bennett is c6, i did it for my diluc, and now he also buffs my lyney. xiao and scara, who i always used him with too, aren't affected by c6 bennett. i do not regret it. my ayaka plays permafreeze.
I hardly used Bennett. The only time I really used him was in a team with Xiangling, who I also didn't use that often. When I got C6 Bennett I just immediately activate it for the 15% damage bonus. But then I also got the idea to try out burgeon teams with Kazuha. Which I liked. So now I use Bennett a bit more often thanks to his C6. I guess you don't need C6 for this team, but it is a major improvement to be able to trigger burgeons with you normal hits.
the real problem is other characters letting their infusion get overwritten by him. i have a c6 kazuha for the anemo infusion cuz he's fun and i love him, but it's annoying that his expensive ass constellation can still get overwritten by bennet's infusion
My personal hope is not that bennett becomes good for a physical dps, my hope is that one day a physical/superconduct support around bennett’s power level will be released.
Yep. Personally, I'd like for Superconduct itself to also actually benefit Cryo/Electro dmg, but a Bennett-level Physical/Superconduct support and/or an actual Physical off-field dps would also be very welcome additions.
Even though imI only use Bennett with Xiangling and nuke showcase, I don't like his c6, sometimes i like messing with na/ca "nuke" and his c6 wont allow me to do that
I'll hold out until toggleable cons come out or forever in hopes of a better Phys character that actually wants Bennett.

Its mostly high investment Eula players, and C6 Kazuha players being the main groups who regret C6 Benny. Definitely a minority in the playerbase.
I just wish theyd say something in a dev diary type thing that this was done to counteract C6 Bennett infusion and similar abilities. That way there would be some security going forward

I dont know how long youve had a tiny raccoon running along the bottom of the screen to show how much of the video is left but i love it

Your Pyro characters also enjoy the C6 15 pyro damage bonus
C6 Bennett can override C6 Kazuha & Lynette, but it's actually a good thing since you can enable Weapon Swirl. Weapon Swirling lets you swirl Pyro in situations that doesn't allow you to do so such as when fighting Elemental enemies (Shielded enemies, Hydro Eidolons/Tulpas, Electro Manifestation etc.).
Jean already allows you to do that with sunfire
But Bennett also infuses the character with Pyro, and the swirl target prioritises the element applied to the character above all, plus Pyro is the stickiest element, it’s hard not to swirl Pyro when standing inside Benny’s ring, C6 or not
@@f.b.iagent3971 Weapon Infusion ≠ Character Infusion.

The hacker really just did that to get rid of the red notification 💀
I love C6 Bennett as it literally allows anyone to be a Pyro DPS. I ran a team, Furina Crimson Witch Vape and it was one of the funniest teams I ever built.

I always watch this as someone with c1 bennet
I C6'ed Bennett when I got Yoimiya. Do I regret it? Nope. In fact - it was one of the best decisions.
I don't play with Physical characters and most characters have their own infusion (Alhaithem, Raiden, Tartaglia). My XL and Yoimiya love that C6 constalation (who doesn't love a bit more dmg).
So... I personally recommend you C6 it, UNLESS - you are NEW player with LIMITED character roaster OR you are EULA player.
C6 him. It doesnt hurt.
Even for Eula, her best team is now Eula/Furina/Mika/Raiden. Again, Bennett isn't mandatory anymore for her

All of your characters being level 89 is driving me actually insane lmao. This was a really great and informative guide on C6 Bennett and you're absolutely right that having fun with the game should always be the main focus of stuff like this
Last character that don’t like c6 Bennett was Ayaka back in 2.0, after that characters can’t be affected by it
Bennett's pyro infusion is vital for Razor's best team "Thundering Furry".
Razor actually wants c6 Bennett so he can really play Thundering Furry
I can't think of a single downside for toggle-able constellations, even back in the 2.2 Labyrinth Warriors event there was a temporary buff that would increase your party's constellations by 1 (it visually worked on Aloy, but no actual effect), so the only reason I think it'll never be an option is probably some obtuse lore to gameplay explanation
I'd love to be proven wrong and Hoyoverse adds it, then it's a win for everyone
While there's no downside, I think there's no upside for other characters either. I mean, why would you want to toggle off Neuvillette's C6, for example? To make the game less boring?
I can think of one which one be more trolls in co op, but it’s not really a big deal anyways since we already have infusion characters
We've seen them give Fontaine characters new cons that effect their normal attack talent, but thta is different from changing a past character.
albedo C2 changes him into full DEF scaler
maybe there are more characters but only albedo comes to my mind
Itto always had geo infusion tho
with more pyro characters that could benefit from the 15% buff, C6 bennet is the meta now
Never gonna C6 him for 1 reason; it ruins his ability to be the on-field DPS character w/ supporting Chongyun enabling him to Melt all his skills by infusing his normals with Cryo.

For me it's C6 Kazuha and it feels like they don't appreciate the people using a from the game's perspective support as the Main DPS :/
noelle has it. so it isn't really just an old character thing, it's on purpose.
@@GenshinYuppe Noelle is different tho. There are characters who have their elemental infusion in their burst included for that Noelle is not a good example…

Even Keqing's best team doesn't have Bennett anymore.
it really is the lack of toggle that makes me never wanna turn it on.
My Bennett will remain C5 until there's an option to toggle
I don't like pyro, 15% pyro bonus does nothing to me
I'd rather not C6 my Bennett because I enjoy the idea of normal attacking with characters that shouldn't be played optimally with their normal attacks. Granted, Mika alleviates this but I like the idea of having both of my sons in a team. Like you said, I like having him as an option, always.
The biggest downside of not enabling c6 it's dealing with that annoying notification 😵💫. I could not stand a single day... So I enabled it

From what I observed the main disadvantage of C6 Bennett is mainly for Physical characters like Eula or Freminet.(I am a Freminet main but I rarely team him up with Bennett)
While it brings great buffs for Pryo Sword, Polearm and Claymore DPSs as well as improving Pryo reaction on different teams. Overall I am C6ing him once I get Bennett again. Because pryo infusion looks cool.
y’all can thank one specific content creator for perpetuating the C6 Bennett misconception…
- if you activate it, cool,
- if don't that's also cool.
Mine is forever c5, as a benny main, melt with chongyun is my favorite team
I can completely see c6 Bennet being great for certain teams, but I would personally rather not risk making him better for some teams, but unusable for others I may want in the future.
You forgot the biggest pro. The fact activating it removes the ping.
Still can't activate his c6. Love my Keqing with Bennett.
One argument in favor of C6 Bennett is, ironically, Razor who has a crazy "Self Dendron't Over-Hyper-Load BurgeonBloom Vapetional" team by going EM with C6 Bennett, Xingqiu and Dendro for some crazy simultaneous reactions that are only possible with Razor's weirdness of not infusing himself while at the same time adding Electro damage to himself and having fast application
Edit because I found the ridiculous name
Some details on how infusions work are now incorrect. This occurred after Alhaitham was added, and they seemed to have added what I'll call 'fusion removal' to the possibilities. If you are infused via Chongyun, C6 Bennett, Candace, and may have even just sprinted with Ayaka, its possible you'll deal physical damage. (I have a video called 'Mystery Damage' on my channel where I just use these infusions at the same time resulting in my hits rotating through different damage types.(My videos typical exist just for forum discussions on the wiki.))

I find C6 Bennett hit or miss. Luckily we know have Wriothesley who is more dependable than Aloy who needs 4 coils to preform these 50k normals.)
So hit and miss. :)
I C6'd Bennett ages ago for the most important reason - the little exclamation point on the character icon went away.
Funny, I C6'd Bennett by accident while I was doing a test with Eula. Immediately after realizing, I did a Pyro Eula test. And a Pyro Keqing test.
Would it affect my Qiqi as a dps/healer? Because that's who I main, she got me through every battle and so far up to gloor 11 of spiral. (I'm not too big on meta and playing extremely competitive so some of my artifacts aren't really that great hence why I'm only just now at floor 11)
i’m never enabling it unless i get a pyro dps that really wants him and benefits heavily
As a Lyney main, I c6ed him the instant I could. That extra pyro DMG bonus is juicy and the extra pyro application is nice for swirling. He also enables Xiangling DPS
Xiangling is a DPS though 💀
7:53 as a c6 lynette main with c6 bennett, i just run her in teams like jean/faru/furina

honestly my current main two teams (diluc and kaeya dps) are REALLY not negatively affected. benny is usually on diluc's team and it's only benefits there, and if i want to run benny on kaeya it enables melt kaeya. but im unsure how it affects kazuha as he's also on my kaeya team... idk i think ive been spooked too much too
Oh boy did I misread that title. Kinda disappointed I don't get to see some well thought-out arguments from a 3 year old lmao
even with eula now you play furina with her so the infusion on bennett's c6 lets you vape her normals which negates the damage loss from her autos being pyro.
I enabled it back in 1.1 and never regreted it lol.
i did C6 my Bennet immediately and my OCD thanks me for it.
That red exclamation mark would ruin me more than any ruined team comb would xD
What would be awesome would be to be able to toggle (in settings) elemental infusion overrides.
my bennett is c6, i did it for my diluc, and now he also buffs my lyney. xiao and scara, who i always used him with too, aren't affected by c6 bennett. i do not regret it. my ayaka plays permafreeze.
It helps if I’m trying to forward vape or melt something because it’s one more means of application
the real problem is other characters letting their infusion get overwritten by him. i have a c6 kazuha for the anemo infusion cuz he's fun and i love him, but it's annoying that his expensive ass constellation can still get overwritten by bennet's infusion
With C6 Bennett, finally I can have Pyro Noelle
My personal hope is not that bennett becomes good for a physical dps, my hope is that one day a physical/superconduct support around bennett’s power level will be released.
Yep. Personally, I'd like for Superconduct itself to also actually benefit Cryo/Electro dmg, but a Bennett-level Physical/Superconduct support and/or an actual Physical off-field dps would also be very welcome additions.
Even though imI only use Bennett with Xiangling and nuke showcase, I don't like his c6, sometimes i like messing with na/ca "nuke" and his c6 wont allow me to do that
Did back when i didn't know any better and yet still to find any reason for me to hate it or has stopped me from any content
Why are we still doing this three years later
And then there's me: a third party who never builds Bennett because I just want to enjoy open-world content with Scaramouche
6:36 this is the central reason I don’t unlock C6 Bennett lol I enjoy Melt Ayaka way too much to screw it up and make it more finicky with c6.
